I am familiar with Papyrus cards and gifts and they are very nice and often unique, but you pay for them. I have frequented this store on the 29th Street mall several times and decided I won’t be going back. The store is fine, and some of the people who work there are friendly and helpful, but others(management?) are too pushy for my taste, and appear bossy to the other staff. Also, the return process was ridiculous — required too much time and information. I can get their cards other places.

Sure, you can get Papyrus cards in other stores. But just a very small selection at places like Target and Whole Foods. If you want to see the whole line, and especially the gorgeous gift wrap by the sheet, their company stores are the way to go. I needed a very special birthday card for a dear family friend turning 90 ! And not your ordinary card for the elderly for him. I found something I think he’ll like and it is substantial enough to leave on display, as he wants no gifts but our visit. Definitely at the high end of my price range for cards and wrap, but so worth it occasionally. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
