Personable experience is central to Nod & Rose. They get to know you authentically and out of that suggest the clothes you will like. Bought my first pair of high-​quality, raw denim — a pair of Tellason’s, that Nod suggested. Most comfortable jeans I have ever had. The legs were a bit long and Nod mentioned if it was an issue they could send them off to Tellason to get tailored to fit. A week after I bought I came in to have them hemmed. When they came back in, Nod, knowing I may not be able to get into the store before closing offered to drop them by my house nearby. Now that’s taking care of your customers!
Nod & Rose is the reason you stay away from chain stores and shop local.

This boutique is where the hype, slick, and cool kids go. Unique clothing and accessories for the fashion forward Boulderite. I’m just glad they don’t have North Face in their store, as a native Angelino. Both Nod and Rose are super cool peeps to talk to. I bought some glasses that were super fly (so fly they got stolen)…looks like I will be coming back in to shoppe soon.

Nod & Rose is a gem of a clothier that shines out in Boulder. A sharp dressed mannequin caught my eye from the street so I stepped in to see what they were all about. Nod and Rose were both in and ready to offer assistance with my shopping. I picked out a few sharp pieces to try on and Rose offered sound advice on some other items. Nod charmed in with information about the products and their origins.
I settled on a dapper Parker Dusseau shirt, Ourcaste hoodie, and Houie jacket. Nod made the decisions a little easier with a refreshing banquet beverage! I can’t wait to return someday and get a fine pair of jeans! Thank you for a great shopping experience, Nod &Rose!

Nod & Rose is my favorite shop in Boulder for when I’m looking for super cool fashionable casual clothes such as jeans and shirts. I got tired of looking like every other guy that appeared to just have walked out of REI and found this store off the beaten path. They have a great selection for a boutique, and customer service is A++.
The store is a block off Pearl Street right next to ZEAL optics. You can park in the lot or garage just a block away. They have clothes from many of the up & coming brands that you can’t find anywhere else. There is always something new in the store, so I find myself popping in there at least twice a month.

Great shop with a unique point of view. Beautiful clothes, jewelry and a great selection for men. Super friendly owners with a great eye for picking out things that look WAY better on you than what you pick out for yourself!

Awesome store. Quality products and stellar service. Nod and Rose are incredibly helpful without being «sales-​y». I highly recommend supporting these two great locals.

Guys: In my opinion, this is the best place in Boulder to shop for selvedge jeans, awesome shirts, and with GREAT service (which is very important). There are many clothing boutiques in Boulder for women, but not so much for men… until now. If you are a guy that cares about fashion and cares about wearing high quality, properly fitting clothes, then your search is over. This place is awesome.
Girls: You will look absolutely beautiful in their unique selection of clothes and raw denim. My girlfriend loved the place just as much as I did and we are both happy with our purchases!
Explanation: There seem to be two people that work at Nod and Rose Storehouse — Nod and Rose. :-) Besides both being very fashionable themselves, they are very passionate and knowledgeable about the brands they carry — sometimes even having a connection to the designer. To add to that, there is absolutely no pretentiousness or pressure as they are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Their unique personalities show through in their clothing, and you will feel very welcome when you are in there as they truly show you that they care about you and your individual style.
Honestly, Boulder has needed a place like this for a long time. I will be coming back here time and time again (and already have).

I love this store for so many reasons. They have such a great (surprisingly affordable) selection of jewelry that is always changing and unlike anything else you can find in boulder. One of my first purchases there was an Awesome chunky turquoise statement necklace that literally never fails to garner compliments whenever I wear it. It’s Huge, detailed and well made and it was only $ 50! Their clothing is a touch pricey, but the owners do such an amazing job of cultivating such a unique selection of chic funky stuff that I never fail to find something I apparently can’t live without.
Moreover, I love supporting great local owners… they are so nice and are always around recommending what they think particular customers would like, telling people when next shipments will come in with cool new stuff and getting to know everyone all without being pushy. I’ve seen them outside the store numerous times at restaurants around town and they are always still just beamingly happy and friendly. Gotta love genuinely nice people with awesome stores, perfect addition to Boulder!

I visited the Nod & Rose Storehouse yesterday for Nineteen Forty’s bow tie trunk show. They were offering 15% off ties or full price with 20% off Nod & Rose clothing.
As you enter the intersection of Broadway and Spruce, you should be able to spot Nod & Rose’s distinct signage. It sets you up for the cool interior featuring found wood from old barns. I was greeted by Nod and M Scott (1940) as I walked in. They were offering light snacks, Prohibition beer and gimlets (chosen!) served in Zeal Optics «mason» jars.
Nod heard I was a world traveling swing dancer, took my measure, and showed me some items he thought would be perfect for me. They have light packable blazers, cool Aussie denim wear, chambray shirts, selvedge jeans, and more. It’s a hip store featuring quality products made in the USA and worldwide. Nod seems to know these brands intimately, sharing background stories and then clothing construction details.
There’s also womens clothing, but I didn’t spend much time on that side. You should check this out. Clothing is pricier, but if you’re looking for distinct products that will last, I think this is a good store. And it’s better to buy one piece of clothing that will last a long time and give you pleasure, rather than buy several cheap items that will fall apart. Also, if you’re looking for bow ties for summer and perhaps more formal occasions, check out the Nineteen Forty selections in silk, linen, and cotton.
