I’ve loaded 6 bedroom two-​storied houses into trucks, moved hot tubs and pianos, and climbed countless stairs. You will appreciate my reliability, speed, attention to your particular needs, and organization. Not only do I show up on time, I execute efficiently and conscientiously. I love my job.

Big move? I load and unload trucks, PODs, and UBoxes.

Small move? I offer a roomy SUV and 4×8 trailer to carry your apartment or furniture purchase to its new home. I supply 3 types of dollies, tie downs, blankets, plastic wrap, and tape to safely protect and transport your valuables– at no charge! I can assist in packing boxes if needed. Many customers have shown surprise at how much I can pack into one load. If you want to hire a second mover, I have a reliable supply of strong, experienced helpers on hand.

Established in 2013.

When I moved here for grad school in 2013, I put an ad on Craigslist to see if I could make a little extra money hauling something with my trailer. One quick bite lead to another, and then another, so I decided to invest in making this business something truly solid. What has made Gary Moves such a success is the dedication to customer satisfaction. That may sound cliché, but it is absolutely true that I work with each and every customer on a personal level to get the job done right. It has required immense flexibility on my part, but my customers (especially the numerous repeat customers) have made it more than worthwhile. For whatever reason, I attract some terrifically kind, interesting, and generous customers, and I’ve enjoyed getting to know and serve them. I also cannot say enough about the quality of my movers. I have handpicked them because of their work ethic, conscientiousness, integrity, athletic ability, and shining personality. Trust is key for us all!

I’m a Naropa grad student studying Wilderness Therapy, a concentration in Counseling that utilizes nature as a resource in the therapeutic process. Moving is the perfect accompaniment to this thought and feeling-​based field! Our mindfulness training at Naropa is par excellence and helps my movers and I navigate the geometries, turns, and lifts necessary to safely move furniture from one floor to the next. Outside of work and studies, I am an avid fisherman, motorcyclist, martial artist, dancer, and adventurer. Hopefully there will be time when your move is complete so that you can tell me a little about yourself!
