Dan A.
Business Owner
Dr. Dan Andersen is an Boulder Colorado based guitarist who recently relocated from Austin Texas where he performed with the Gil Del Bosque Quintet, renowned trumpeter Pete Rodriguez, and the Marcus Wilcher Quartet. Some of the Austin venues which he has worked include The Elephant Room, Brass House, Parish Underground, and III Forks Steakhouse.
As a leader, he recorded the album The Spark and appears as co-leader with trombonist Marco Katz on the EP entitled In New Orleans.
As part of the New Orleans music scene he performed at the city’s premier jazz club Snug Harbor. On the festival circuit, Dan appeared at in Northern California at Center Arts Presents, Bebop and Brew, and several times at the Redwood Jazz Festival. He holds doctorate in studio/jazz guitar from the University of Southern California Thornton School Of Music.
