Boulder Vision Center, P.C. was established in 1976 to serve the visual needs of patients of all ages — infants, children and adults. Along with our vast selection of glasses and contacts, we have our own lab. Did we mention that we make free eyeglasses adjustments?

History

Established in 1976.

Established one of the first primary eye care practices in Boulder, we take pride in the patient base that we have built over the years. Many of the patients that we see have come since they were children, and they are now sending their own to see us. We truly believe in establishing more personal relationships with our patients.

Meet the Business Owner

Kristin G.

Business Owner

Dr. Gurholt attended Bismarck State College and the University of North Dakota majoring in chemistry and mathematics. She earned her B.S. in Vision Science and Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University, Oregon. She is licensed and certified in the use of diagnostic and therapeutic drugs and certified by the International Association of Boards of Examiners in Optometry in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She is a member of the American and Colorado Optometric Associations.

She completed an internship at The Marshfield Clinic in central Wisconsin. At this large multi-​disciplinary clinic, she gained advanced training in ocular disease and contact lenses. Dr. Gurholt was active in Amigoes, a volunteer student group that provides eye care to adults and children in need. She was awarded the Alcon Excellence in Primary Eyecare in 1997.
