The guys made moving fast and easy! I really appreciate that they have a one hour rate – they’re one of the few places that do! They were friendly and accommodating and I’ll definitely be using their services again.

Very professional, and fast! Josh, Dylan, and Dave arrived right on time and worked quickly and CAREFULLY. I have lot of fragile keepsakes; they treated them as their own, and wrapped them for me. Best of all, they took apart the couch that couldn’t fit through the door and put it back together inside! Great service at a great price! THANK YOU!

These folks are great. They only have a 1 hr minimum unlike most other movers which have a 3 hr minimum. If you are moving within Boulder, this makes them most likely your cheapest option. They also are very efficient, professional and friendly/​kind.

Unprofessional. Person answering phone asked me to text a picture of the item I wanted moved. When I didn’t hear back I called and was told I could expect a text back. Never heard back. Not only that but the guy seemed annoyed when I asked, as if I were making an unreasonable request. Disappointing.

I hired this company to move my daughter, a student at CU Boulder because I live in California and couldn’t make it out myself to move her myself. Being in a different state while your teenage child is moving homes is challenging. I called several moving companies but the owner of this company answered my call and put my fears to rest. They called me the day of the move to let me know what time they would be heading out to my daughter and they called me when they were 10 minutes away. Three movers arrived and had her room packed in less than 30 minutes! They unloaded in about the same amount of time. They were reliable and efficient. I would highly recommend them!

I would like to highly recommend this company. and warn you all out their about Taylor moving! We needed to store one room of furniture to stage our house for moving. They told us it would cost about $ 200 to come pick it up and put into storage. The real cost was $ 560. Then to bring the furniture to our new house it cost $ 490 (note it took them 45 min to unload) so you know it was not too much. So in total we paid over $ 1000. Now in contrast. Boulder moving moved our entire household. 4 bedrooms, 3 bath and garage over a day 8am until 4pm three guys and the cost was $ 1100! The crew was absolutely wonderful, careful and courteous!
So be warned… Taylor moving is to be avoided at all costs.

Called the same day for help with a few large pieces of furniture I needed to get up and down some stairs. They came hours later, and did quick and good work!

I hired Boulder Moving for work to move office space from Lakewood to Boulder. Overall I had a positive impression of this company.
They did hit a bit of traffic and were a few minutes late to the move, but they called while in traffic to let me know that they were on their way. Other than a couple small glitches, the move went smoothly. Boulder Moving company bent over backwards to make sure we left as happy customers. They moved at lightning speed to load their truck and took less than 30 minutes to unload at the new space.
They have very reasonable rates and an upfront billing system with a flat hourly rate and a flat gas fee. I very much appreciate this as most of the other moving companies had confusing billing rates and multiple fees.

A terrible moving experience. I hired Boulder Moving LLC for 2 guys, for 3 hours to load boxes from our home into a UHAUL. There was very little communication prior to the appointment, so I felt the need to contact the company to confirm my appointment the day prior. I was worried my reservation was lost, or forgotten. My phone call the day prior to my move did not allay my fears. It sounded as if I had just woken up the person answering the phone from a deep sleep. He took some time going through papers to find my reservation, and once he did in fact find it, he had the wrong address (despite my previous email confirming the address).
Two guys did show up on time, but appeared to have VERY little moving experience. They inexplicably placed all the boxes in the UHAUL first, and only then attempted to get the furniture in. This resulted in an extremely poor use of space, and as a result, not everything fit as it should have.
One of the movers stepped on a cardboard box containing lampshades, so the box partially collapsed under his weight. Many items were, despite intensive packaging, bubble wrap, and moving pads, damaged in the move; I can only presume this was due to reckless placement of items in the UHAUL.
I would avoid this company as they were inefficient and careless.

I first got to know about Boulder Moving back in 2008 when the company I worked for hired them to move a bunch of furniture internally inside a large building, up and down, back and forth. From then on, they came to help us out several times. Very easy-​going group of strong men. They listen well and ask if they’re not sure about something. They work fast too. Their boss Brian was always easy and pleasant to talk with and arrange moving appointments. After a lengthy gap, I recently needed help with moving and I was disappointed that I had not saved their number and also couldn’t remember the exact name. So I called several moving places in Boulder to try and locate these folks. To my surprise, when I called Boulder Moving (via Unilocal), the gentleman who answered the phone remembered me and started inquiring about my little Jack Russell Terrier who they would play with back in the day inside our offices. When I told him my doggie is no more, he even remembered the medical complications my dog used to have. That kind of personal touch from a moving company makes me very happy to recommend them for everyone in Boulder and surrounding areas! They were able to help out on the same day I called. I also think that their hourly fee is very reasonable. Next time you need to move those heavy loads, call Boulder Moving!

I was worried about my move of four pieces of furniture because one was a huge wardrobe, and I couldn’t imagine exactly how it was going to go up my narrow staircase. When I talked to Bryan of Boulder Moving on the phone, I expressed my concern and he said he’d bring 3 men.
When they arrived it was clear the wardrobe wasn’t going to fit up the staircase, but Bryan never wavered. He schemed a way to lift it to the second floor by going outside onto the roof (!), then slid it through an upstairs door. In order to do this he had to fetch a fourth man, but charged me for only the original quoted rate of three.
Overall, given the challenging nature of my move, I’d call Boulder Moving’s performance heroic and professional. I’d recommend them to anyone.
