Description

Specialties

Formerly the Quality Inn Boulder Creek, the 49-room boutique hotel has been fully renovated to reflect the adventurous spirit and design of the original property, with its own signature elements. All guests rooms include the «Basecamp Bed,» featuring a custom-made four-star quality mattress, 300 thread count sheets and hypoallergenic comforters, as well as sustainable beetle kill pine furniture, providing the perfect satellite «office.» For true adventure seekers, the Great Indoors Plains room features sunken beds in a mountain-scape setting, with a faux-fire pit and camping chairs, perfect for families or groups of up to 4 people to sleep under the «stars» at the edge of the Flat Irons, like the westward wagon trails would have done in the 1840’s.

The lounge at Basecamp Boulder offers a great place for guests to relax, play ping-pong and boulder in a fun indoor/“outdoor” space. Featuring a full climbing wall, fireplace and artificial lawn, guests can enjoy all the pleasures of a relaxing outdoor experience while staying warm inside. The deck is the perfect space to stretch out and catch up on emails, while the 12-person spa and sauna provides the ideal recovery zone to soothe sore muscles after a long day of adventures.

History

Established in 2012.

At Basecamp Hotels, we want to bring the spirit of exploration back to your hotel stay. Our mission is to take under-appreciated buildings in great destinations and infuse them with soul, so you can have an alternative to the cookie cutter hotel experience. Basecamp Hotels started in South Lake Tahoe in 2012 and later expanded to North Lake Tahoe earlier this year. With its picturesque scenery and spirit of adventure, Boulder, CO was a natural choice for our next hotel. Boulder is already one of the most livable cities in the U.S., and we hope to make Basecamp Boulder one of the most comfortable and exciting places to stay in the beautiful state of Colorado.

«Basecamp has the low-key, homespun feel of a hotel started by your hippest friends and run by your most organized. Great location, surprisingly good prices and a high level of creativity…» — The New York Times
