History
Established in 2012.
The mission of Outside Magazine is to inspire active participation in the world outside. For 35 years, we’ve been doing that through award-winning coverage of the sports, people, places, adventure, discoveries, health and fitness, gear and apparel, trends and events that make up an active lifestyle. Outside has always been driven by the search for innovative ways to connect people to the world outside.
Avid4 Adventure has been getting kids outside through their camps and school programs in Colorado for over 10 years. Serving over 100,000 campers, Avid4 Adventure is the leader of youth outdoor education in Colorado.
And so, this summer, in partnership, we begin Outside Adventure Kids Day Camps!
For this first year, we will be offering a full summer of camps in the SF Bay Area. If you don’t live in the Bay Area don’t worry — our hope is to offer more camps in more regions soon so stay tuned!
