Atlas flooring is an amazing family run business that really took the time make sure we got exactly what we needed! Highly recommend this business for all your flooring and cabinet needs!

My family has purchased tile for bathrooms and kitchen, and carpet for bedrooms for the past 25 years. We really appreciated the discount offered to victims of the 2013 floods. The employees are extremely well informed and helpful. You can take your time and never feel hurried with decisions. We will keep returning!

Great selection with competitive pricing. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I tend to ask a lot of questions throughout the entire process and they didn’t mind helping me at all. The end results are amazing and of high quality.

My fiancé and I were completely remodeling our home and needed wood floors, bathroom tile, shower tile, and cabinets. We were referred to Atlas Flooring and we are so glad we decided to go with them! Everyone at this company is so friendly and so helpful from the second you walk into the door which made the project a lot more bearable. They have a nice selection of wood floors and they were a lot cheaper than everywhere else we looked! The staff was very knowledgeable and helped us pick the right kind of wood for our lifestyle (we were getting a German Shepherd and didn’t want the floors to scratch). We brought in our floor plans from our architect and Leister Bowling designed our cabinets in minutes! The whole process was much easier than we were anticipating, the staff was incredible, and the selections and prices were perfect. I would recommend them whether the size of your project.

After the owner of Atlas called me to express his concerns and try to make things right, I have a higher regard for Atlas as a business. The Tile person that gave who was so demeaning and rude should consider getting out of the business if he cannot be civil to clients.

Fantastic experiences all around with Atlas. They have the best prices hands down and a fantastic selection. I’ve done a ton of business with them — flooring, countertops, fixtures — and have never been disappointed. Good people, I’ll be doing more with them in the future!

A while back I wrote not such a great review of this store as we had a miscommunication about some installation costs on some countertops
Leister (the owner) reached out to me, he was kind enough to explain the cost issues, and we came to a very fair understanding.
Atlas is very professional and has always been my go-​to place for flooring materials.
I am glad to give them a 5 star rating and recommend them highly!

Sweetie and I were picking out new bathroom tile. We visited several times, looking through the tile, before finally making a decision. (No one ever helped us on any but our last visit, and only then because we sought someone out.) When we made our decision, we searched the place for assistance. Finally, a short white guy with short dark hair and a dark beard said he would help. We showed him the tile we wanted, told him the quantity we needed, and asked for a price. Sounds simple, right? Nope. He wouldn’t give us a price. He said he didn’t know what is was. And he said that no price list existed. For a product Atlas sells. ??? And he just looked at us like this was normal.
We were confused, and reiterated that we wanted to order the tile, and again asked him how much it would cost. He said he didn’t know. We asked if he could perhaps ask someone. He said no, and again said that no price list exists. And he just stood there looking at us. Sweetie and I glanced at each other, and left.
Truly bizarre. Refusal to give us a price. No offer to take our name and number so that someone else could call us with the information. No effort whatsoever to actually take our business. So strange. I have no rational explanation.
We visited late afternoon on February 5, 2016.

As in the past this family owned business and it’s staff just make buying carpet a pleasure. The owner, Leister and Tommy Martin are great to work with and DO what they say they will do… Of course the value and install teams are good too! I’ve referred many friends to this company over the years and each time I get a «awesome, thanks Steve for helping me save some $$$ and get great service and good looking carpet».
Well, now I get to say the same to Atlas Flooring. I just got my house done and more this next spring! yeaaa! Steve C

Update on my first (also 5 star) review… Atlas called us today to let us know we had accidentally paid twice for something. I paid via credit card over the phone, and when they sent the receipt, my husband thought it was a bill and sent them a check. They called to see how we wanted to handle the overpayment, though they could easily have pocketed the money. Love these guys and their personal service and honesty.

I called Atlas to remove old carpeting and install new in my old house based on the great reviews~ I wasn’t dissapointed. Customer service was excellent, and I was able to pick out some very high quality carpet at a discount from their showroom and have it installed within my tight deadline! Installers did a great job, and communication was great all around. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Atlas Flooring. In a desperate situation due to another company’s major error, Atlas Flooring was able to help me out. They provided excellent customer service (Tom Martin), a reasonable price, and service the very next day. Thanks Tom and the rest of the Atlas staff!!!

I recently purchased carpet from Atlas and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Tommy was an outstanding sales person — very helpful, knowledgeable, no pressure. Matched the carpet and did better on price than I’d found at another store. They gladly stored the carpet until I was ready for installation — months later! The installer they recommended was also top notch. Installation was incredibly professional. They moved furniture (and were politely patient while I dusted baseboards behind beds!), did an outstanding job with edges, and happily made one small adjustment I observed. I was so pleased that I called the store to compliment them! I can’t think of enough superlatives!

We have used Atlas 4 times over the past 10 years or so.
FIrst rate service and pricing on tile, carpet and vinyl.
We won’t use anyone else.

These are the nicest folks around! The owner is very nice and patient and I have visited several times. Yes, sometimes you have to wait for assistance because they are busy. They may be a little pricer than a store in Denver but it’s Boulder and this is the best place around. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. I bought tile from here.

I’ve worked with Atlas several times and always had exceptional service, so I don’t know what possessed me to try to order carpet through the Home Depot for my rental unit. Actually, I do know, it was because I was tight on money and wanted to take advantage of their 12-​month no-​interest financing deal. I also had a small window for the install, with one tenant moving out on a Friday and the new one moving in on Sunday.
I won’t bore you with the details, and I don’t mean to write a bad review of Home Depot since everyone I dealt with was very nice, but suffice it to say I dealt with no fewer than 8 different people in 4 or 5 departments over the course of 2 weeks, only to be told that my «in stock» carpet with the «7 day guaranteed install» could not be done on the day I needed it. I promptly cancelled my order with HD and went straight back to Atlas, and I’m soooo glad I did.
With Atlas, there’s no BS. The carpet that’s «in stock» is available the next day if needed (or probably even the same day!). I dealt with ONE salesman (who was fabulous), who put me in touch directly with the installer, and I was able to talk him directly about schedules and pricing. It was so easy, I couldn’t believe I hadn’t just gone with them in the first place.
Even though it was totally last-​minute at this point, the installer said «no problem» to squeeze me in on a Saturday morning with 4 days notice. He came by a few days later to do a quick measure, and showed up on time as promised to do the install. He was reassuring and friendly both times I met with him, and everything looked perfect when his team left the house after the installation was complete.
All I can say is lesson learned: If you want personal service, go local and not to the big box store. I’d recommend these guys to anyone.

Atlas Flooring has two big sales a year: May and October. I was smiled upon by the Fates who allowed my home remodel to align with the amazing sale in May. I got a smokin’ deal on high quality carpet and vinyl, with a huge selection to choose from. If my budget had been bigger, I woulda’ taken advantage of the tile, countertops and other super sales they had going on.
I was in the store twice, and I worked with three different salesmen…
…Ladies, heads up! I do mean sales MEN because there are no XX chromosomes anywhere in the vicinity of this store. When I politely asked why it was such – using nice words and my inside voice because I was the only woman in the store with about a dozen men – i was told by the very kind owner (he really is a nice guy) that «women just can’t handle the job.» So basically he’s saying that women can run entire countries, but they can’t order carpet? Ohhhhkay.
Anyway, all of them were perfect gentlemen. They were experienced, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were kind and professional. The installers contacted me immediately and took careful measurements. Everyone followed through and did their job well.
Now I’m waiting for the carpet to be installed. We’ve had a slight delay in the remodel (surprise! cause that never happens). I’ll keep you posted on the finish.
So far, I would highly recommend Atlas, unless you have a problem dealing with very nice men who completely and totally exclude women from their business. If I had known ahead of time that this business practiced sexism, I probably would’ve gone somewhere else. But it’s too late now, the deal is done, I didn’t know ahead of time, and I sure got a great deal, and great service!

By far the best carpet, tile or kitchen store in boulder. You walk in and are immediately taken care. I am friends with the owner so I would expect to get great service. I have referred 2 people to them to redo there kitchens and these people didn’t name drop me and they got the same great customer service that I did. Oh yeah and I didn’t tell the owner they were coming. Nowhere else to go other then Atlas

Great service in all respects — not only flooring. These guys understand home renovation. If he doesn’t have it, he’ll get it, and he works to get you the best price.
I would recommend without reservation.
