My family has been coming here since the 1940’s and have always enjoyed the ambiance. This weekend we had the usual Saturday night prime rib. Drinks and appetizers were excellent as always but the prime rib was ridiculously thin and uneventful. At more than $ 30 a plate you’d expect a good piece of meat at a first class restaurant. Still a fun place to experience but stick with the pastas over the steaks.

WOW, what a magical romantic nite, and a delicious meal, for thanksgiving. everything i dreamed of. redwood walls, high ceilings, ITALIAN WAITERS, Dressed in black slacks, white shirts, ties. old school. Felt like you walked into another ERA,
The food was fantastic, and the prices very reasonable, pasta dishes 13 – 15, meat dishes 22 – 28, lobster 35.00 was a nite to remember the service was fantastic, the best you could have. not obtrusive at all, was so pleasant, we will go back for anniv in dec. The smell of the open hearth fireplace and the low lights was so nice, and the full bar in the next room with two sports t.v.s with football, Their soups, and burgers are great also. This place is a must for a special nite out, or just during the winter for soup, or burgers. so friendly felt like you were in Italy with all the Italian families of the valley.
They also have outdoor seating and it is kid friendly. a wonderful family place as well as for christmas, thanksgiving, valentines day for sure.
