Its local. Not worth driving out of your way. The food is not fantastic by any means and the shakes are only good on a really hot day compared to other options. Definitely not worth the pricing.

Great bacon burger. There was more than enough cooked-to-perfection bacon, and just the right amount of condiments. Bun had a good flavor too. Price was also just right. Worth the wait– this isn’t fast food.

I love going here. My Girlfriend and I feel this is the best burgers we have ever tasted. Sometimes the line can be a little long but it is well worth the wait!

We ate there tonight and the ranch burger was very bland and the fries were over done. Was told it was a great place like Kid Valley. Not even close for the price. Plus you don’t pay for cheese at Kid Valley. But the shakes /Malts are good.

The Ranch needs better organization. They always forget our order… Last night I went there and it was EXTREMELY busy but I waited long enough till the people died down. I was buying my family some dinner so yes we had a big order. But our cashier person went through out list twice… And everything was correct. The place had already died down already and when I got home. It was a disappointment because they somehow still managed to forget an order fries and two corn dogs… And a tartar sauce. And obviously I paid for those so I pretty much lost just about $ 10… I won’t be back for a very long time.

The Ranch is a Bothell institution, and I hope it never ever leaves. I love the slightly over-priced food and so-thick-its-basically-ice-cream milkshakes. My go to here is the chicken dinner and a chocolate/peanut butter milkshake. I love that tarter sauce and fries just come together in the best sort of way here(seriously, you have to try it). I love sitting outside during the summer waiting on the food and being forced to spend time with the people who came with me. No, this isn’t a high quality, luxury burger place. Its not even a date night spot. But it is a greasy, delicious burger spot that I can’t dream of giving up.

I don’t have to tell you that this place is the obviously we all know :) the milkshakes remind me of being a kid and aside from the delicious food, this place has a great vibe!

A family member treated us to burgers from here. I don’t have much to say about the business location and interior, however the burgers were extremely dry. Sad to say these are probably one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had. I don’t think I will be trying again.

Always drive by this place, so at least try it for once with my roommate. This is the worst burger we every had. Wasn’t even better than the hamburgers from high school. The patty were almost a jerky. Condiments were not fresh. Prices were kind of high. How they stay in business, we will never know.

The double bacon ranch burger is delicious! Pretty disappointed in the crinkle cut fries though they seem like they were frozen.

Was informed by a young patron that this is a bothell staple. Staff super friendly. But a little disappointed in the burger. Their ¼ lb is different than a ¼er in Texas. And if you are use to a big burger for that amount you need to order the double. The taste is good but caution they put mayo and ketchup standard. I view this as high treason but they will custom it for you.(Aka mustard please, which seem to shock them) Onion rings and wrinkle fries are good. Overall a very average place and was a little over 15 a person so a little high. That was 4 burgers, 1 lg fry, 1 lg onion ring, 2 lg drinks, 2 lg waters, and 1 sm shake. When I return to the area I won’t be making a special trip for this place.

Typical, old-fashioned drive-in burger place, but their shakes and dipped cones are amazing! The interior is SUPER low frills but the food is worth a stop if you’re into greasy bacon burgers.

Fast, tasty, and inexpensive. This burger place will make you feel like you are reliving your high school days.

Ranch Drive-In used to be *the* place to get a great burger, fries, and drinks. I’ve probably spent a small fortune here all told. It was a nostalgic place in its time. Fast forward to today, and what you’ll find is a dilapidated, overpriced, depressed experience. The food still holds its own for the most part, but the service is now sluggish and imprecise. The managers seem grumpy and annoyed, barking at the employees. I hear obscene arguments in the back area routinely. The employees seem to rotate more frequently than in years past, with a large churn of high school kids poorly and inadequately trained, and who spend a sizable time milling around while one or two ‘veterans’ do the majority of the work. While some of the employees are dismissive or inattentive(preferring to socialize rather than serve), many of them are good kids who seem to be mostly avoiding getting yelled at by the surly managerial staff. More often than not, some portion of the equipment is broken, or there’s some ingredient they’re out of. With the plethora of new eating establishments making their way into Bothell, I hope that this broken down relic with its dead end attitude finds its way into history books as a testament to an establishment far outliving its usefulness or will to live.

Growing up in Bothell, The Ranch, is the place! Made a recent visit to find that the quality has remained the same. The Ranch is AWESOME! Great burgers(gotta order with bacon!) made in the old fashioned drive-in way. Shredded lettuce and tart mustard. Get a DOUBLERANCH with bacon, cheese and onions! GOOD! Their crinkle fries are great! Only better with the squeeze pour ketchup bottles. I have to admit I have wasted my fair share of ketchup squirting out at the Ranch :) Expensive but worth it. You are going to pay like $ 15 each by the time you get burger, fries and drink(their cokes have the good ice!) Also a no-brainier for their soft serve cones and chocolate dipped cones. Fun! With all the changes to downtown Bothell, I’m glad some things have stayed the same! Good job Ranch Drive=In!!!

I was really shocked at how many locals frequent this restaurant after I tried it for the first time. Since then, I have had a few other experiences to see if I just ordered the wrong thing. Unfortunately, everytime ended up being a poor experience. Cons: 1. Poor quality food that tastes similar that of frozen meat or cafeteria food. 2. Long waits to receive order. 3. The price for the food especially considering the low quality is unreasonably disproportionally high(keep in mind it’s Fast Food but served slow) 4. Fully staffed with high school students who love socializing with each other and their friends that stop by instead of being attentive of waiting patrons. Pros: 1. Convenient location off Bothell Way After several opportunities to have my mind changed, it failed to do so. I would strongly recommend NOT to visit this establishment because you’ll be charged much more than other fast food equivalents but to also wait a long time for poor quality food.

In short, I strongly recommend not going to this establishment since there are much better alternatives for a more reasonable or comparable price. For more details please see below: I have gone to this establishment a few times now due to the proximity to our home for a quick bite to eat or so we thought. The few times that we had been there we experienced both slow and busy times, but the time to order was very long every time. Moreover, receiving our food took a considerably long time for what I consider a fast food joint. A wait can always be justified if the food was worth that time spent… Well, not in this case. I have tried a few different items to attempt to find something good enough to explain why the Ranch Drive Inn is busy, but I haven’t been successful. Everything that I have had here tasted almost identical to cafeteria food from a high school or hospital. On top of the long wait and poor quality meal, I would say that this place is well overcharging the customer. For example, a grilled chicken sandwich only is $ 6.39, seriously? TBH, the food is no better than frozen food you could warm up at home.

I grew up in Bothell and everyone here raves about this place. Local kids work here and they get distracted often by their friends coming in to say hi. Wish the service could be more upbeat and better, but the food is good. Update– there’s no one else in here waiting for an order and I’ve been waiting for 15min. Terrible service.

I was in the area to get a massage and saw this burger joint on Unilocal.I figured it would be worth a try. Once I found the building my first thought was old. The building needs a clear rebrand. The interior is kept clean, but is made up of 10 different shades of brown. The walls need repainted to feel new and less aged in the kitchen area in addition to fixtures and lighting modernized and more rustic(if the barn ranch feel is what they are going for). The registers look as old as the building. Clearly love from the owner is missing. As for the employees, they were hard working and well dressed. On to the food! The fries were delicious for typical hamburger fries. The fries here are very similar to Zips but not soggy(rather crispy). The ranch burger tasted like a classic burger joint. I was not disappointed. I also decided to order a float. The float however was disappointing because they pulled a Wendy’s and used soft serve ice cream. The taste in floats with soft serve is just off. As for the burger, it isn’t anything memorable. It was made properly to order and tasted alright, but lacked any lasting want to have another. The food here hits pretty heavy. I rate this burger joint 3 of 5 stars for needing some love and to step up the food a bit. Overall this is not a place that I’d put on my map and go out of my way to return.

Had no idea there was a spot like this in my area, but I had a friend recommend this place to me. I was pretty surprised by what kind of burgers I could get, but naturally, I’d order the biggest thing available which was the Double Ranch Bacon burger. Got a small boat of fries and a fountain drink to go with it. The burger was pretty good! The bacon in the burger sure was something else, it had a nice taste to it and I enjoyed how thick cut the bacon was. Also, this is the first time I’ve ever been satisfied with crinkle cut fries. They were actually crispy and not soggy/gross. One special thing I’d like to note is that they use pellet ice for their fountain drinks. That’s awesome! Now that I know where this place is, I’ll definitely be returning soon when I don’t feel like cooking dinner.
