Pawsitivity is dog training the positive way! We use only positive methods and tools to teach you and your dog to communicate to one another and have fun doing it.

Our dog training services consist of in-​home private lessons, semi-​private or small group classes serving Snohomish and King counties. If you are having troubles with potty training, puppy manners, transitioning a new dog into your home, separation anxiety, walking on leash, not coming when called or other unwanted behaviors — we can help. History

Established in 2006.

After volunteering for 9 years working with shelter dogs, Diane saw a need to help people and their dogs create a long lasting relationship based on trust and positive associations. Many of the dogs that were brought to the shelter only needed some basic manners in order to be a wonderful, well trained dog. Pawsitivity is dedicated to helping owners who feel on the edge of returning an animal due to a behavior issue. In 2006, Pawsitivity Dog Training was opened and we have been helping people one dog at a time.

Diane Bridgwater has been around animals all her life but when she was a volunteer at a shelter, she saw wonderful dogs brought in with what the owner called «behavior issues,» she was determined to help people avoid giving up their pet. With 9 years of experience, she teaches you the techniques you need to build your relationship and get back on track. «I want training your dog to be fun and a positive experience. My training techniques are positive reinforcement using a clicker in addition to reward training.» Pawsitivity never uses harsh tugs, dominance, newspaper swatting, etc., instead we teach you to focus on the positive and good behaviors your dog is doing.
