Love the selection here! Some essential oils are overpriced, even if they are all natural. Some crystals are very well priced and others are way overpriced, e.g. I bought a moldavite piece and for the same sized piece or smaller as a pendant it’s nearly twice the price. Some crystals that are the same type and size are priced very differently. Very small store so you have to watch where you’re going or you’ll bump into things lol. Needs a better tarot/oracle cards selection IMHO.

Love this store. I come here for the mineral specimens. I’m not into metaphysical properties but as a geology major & enthusiast and mineral collector, I can say their mineral samples are high quality! Definitely my favorite rock shop in the greater Seattle area. The staff here is also very kind, especially Annette.

If you use essential oils, then you’ll want to hang out and breathe in the scents here, or use your imagination whilst visiting O’Malley and Potter’s website. The Ol’ Mangaretta uses several essential oils to hand craft goods to pamper herself, and they’re hard to find at a reasonable price on most sites. With their selection of high quality oils, it’s easy to buy everything in one swoop from here instead of buying here and there and there and… there online. They also offer what they call«feel-good» products for relieving common problems like stress, arthritis and other aches and pains, and more serious ailments. I’ve used their fluid retention lotion to help with an ankle injury, and though I can’t say that it had me out running a marathon*, it does help. If I could change anything about their feel-good line, I’d remove the parabens and use a different anti-microbial(do a quick search about the potentially harmful effects of parabens, especially for women). I can’t vouch for their other products since that’s not my personal type of mishegoss(and Mang knows her mishegoss), but O’M&P have a good thing going. It’s true that their site looks like«2001: A Site Oddity,» but it is functional(bare bones) without too many problems. So, three stars for the large inventory of oils, feelin’ good, and convenience; and minus two stars for those perilously pesky parabens, a 2001 sci-fi site, and a lack of marathon* inspiration. (*But, really, The Ol’ Mangaretta wouldn’t run a marathon! She’d rather walk the winding paths, smell the night blooming jasmine, dash over to the beach, breathe in the crisp ocean air, search for sand-laden treasures, forget that she’s in public and break into song… you get the picture: An all-around kumbaya time wins over marathons. Always.)

This is a wonderful, beautiful store. It is exactly what it claims to be– a store full of «feel-good»! There is a wide variety of gemstones and crystals, with books on the subject if you are new to them(like I am!), and jewelry of stones if you’re looking for something pretty. The aromatherapy section is great, and they have books and advice in that as well. There are candles, oil diffusers, ornaments, sage bundles, salts, etc etc. Just walking in here makes you feel good, and you’re bound to find something to take with you. I love it, and absolutely recommend checking it out.

This is such a great store. I normally *loathe* shopping, but my mom loves it. She’s in her 70’s so I suffer and take her out ’cause I love her. I often suggest Country Village because of O’Malley & Potter. I believe the owner is named Coleen, and she is great. She knows a lot about all of her products and if you get her talking she has some great stories, too. I am a sucker for stones, and I have never been able to leave here without a handful of their wide variety of polished rocks/minerals. She has Tibetan bells and singing bowls, gorgeous Morrocan ornaments and scented oil warmers, neat necklaces made from either wood or metal that have storage for scented oils, and a selection of loose leaf tea, among other unique little treasures. It’s a treasure of a store!

I. just. love. this. place. Seriously, it is such a treat to go to. The staff is always very friendly and nice– and patient. And they have such a fun selection of things… I love that they carry Australian Bush Flower Essences(I haven’t found any other place in the Seattle area that does.) And they have a Great selection of essential oils, teas, chocolate. Beautiful semi-precious stones. And all kinds of feel good massage-y pillow-y yummy smelling things. I highly recommend making it up to Bothell for this place.

I saw the words«Retain and Maintain Health and Well-Being…» and decided to take a look inside. I discovered a knowledgeable lady behind the counter and a store filled with things like rock salt candles that help clean the air, lotions and scrubs to keep your body feeling(and smelling!) good, cd’s with healing and chakra balancing music, essential oils(and a cool looking aromatherapy diffuser/humidifier), etc. This is a great store to find neat stuff for yourself and/or for others!
