Louie Leahu founded GroutFix in 2006 to serve the greater Seattle area with all their tile & grout needs. He enjoys being actively involved in every aspect of the business– especially working directly with clients. Along with years of hands-​on experience in the field, Louie takes plasures in seeing every project completed in a way that will exceed our customers expectations. When Louie’s not working he enjoys being outdoors, playing soccer, basketball, riding his bike, spending time with his family and attending church.

Wow!!! Louie arrived at our house to give an estimate to re-​grout our bathroom, specifically tub surround. He was on time. He let us know the next available date to perform the work, on time again.
Our bathroom is tiled in a mid-​century tile which we want to keep. He totally understood. One estimator wanted to rip out the tile without seeing it!
He’s the kind of professional that cleans up behind. Absolutely perfect.
We are THRILLED with the outcome. Actually will be back to do the whole bathroom, potentially the kitchen with the same material!
His price was good. He’s an expert in his field.

Thank you! I bought a house that needed the tiles in the bathroom sealed. It was a DIY bathroom job from the sellers. (Horrible) I called Louie to fix the shower he matched the color just right. The seal around the tub did need to be touched up about 8 months later. He was at my house within 2 business days! He fixed it right up in a few min. For no charge of course :)
If you’re looking for someone to diddle daddle around this is not your guy. Very efficient. Likes to get work done and does a great job.

Louie came out to give us an estimate on regrouting around our wash basin and sealing the vanity and shower. He arrived on time and finished in about 2 hours. I included before and after photos here.
Additionally, we had a small patch of worn grout behind our kitchen faucet, which he took care of afterwards. I threw in a little extra for that last minute touch up.
He was professional, quick and thorough.
We will utilize his services again in the future.

Louie did an excellent job repair two cracked tiles on our kitchen countertop behind our range. He was able to match the tile exactly, and the replaced tiles are seamless. Minor complaint — the appointment was delayed a couple hours, and the job took longer than was expected, but all in all, I am very satisfied with Louie’s work and GroutFix.

This company rocks! It is very well deserved 5 stars! I rarely rate 5 stars as there is always room for improvement but not in this case. My tile back splash looks wonderful now! I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! I would recommend Louie anytime!
So based on the good reviews on Yalp, I hired Louie to patch up our backsplash with tiles, because we replaced the microwave range with a more powerful range hood, and as a result the backsplash needed to be patched up where the microwave height was.
After Louie came in and looked at my backsplash, not only he provided a beautiful solution but also he lowered the cost consented over the phone, voluntarily! As far as I know he could have gone on to charge me the price we agreed upon. What a perfect, honest business man Louie is!

We adored Louie. You could not hire a nicer (or quieter) guy to help you out. We’d had someone more upscale come in to give us a bid and while that would have probably worked out, the price had us looking for options. Louie was able to give me a bid over email after I sent him measurements and pictures (+10,000 for convenience). The bid was very reasonable and reviews were good, so we booked him for the job.
He installed tile we’d purchased online and left us with a gorgeous kitchen back-​splash (on three walls) and new hearth for our fireplace. He was considerate about where the cuts would be and as I watched him cut the loads and loads of little tiles I quickly came to understand why DIYing this would have been insane. I worked from home the entire time and he was very quiet and easy to work around. He’s truly talented and we’d have him back in a heartbeat to do any future work.

Few months ago, we had a water issue. The plumber initially thought the water leakage was caused by aged caulking of our guest bathroom’s bathtub surround. Called Louie and he was able to come earlier than scheduled. He has done an excellent job in re-​caulking the whole bathtub surrounding area including inside of the glass sliding door. And he also re-​caulk the bathtub of our master bedroom as well. I am really happy with his work and his charges was reasonable. I probably will call him to re-​caulk my master bath again if I wish to change the color of the caulk. At the end, the plumber realized the water issue was not caused by the caulking but I was still glad that Louie has re-​caulked both bathtubs for me. Thank you for your work!

I had Louie clean up, re-​grout and polish our 25 years old bathtub and shower tile walls, and he did a great job! He is also doing backsplash installation in our kitchen. He is doing amazing work! He is a perfectionist. I have never seen anyone doing something so carefully — as if he is doing it for his own house. He is also very punctual. I am overall very impressed.
He will also be installing tile floors in the bathrooms and rebuild the shower/​bathtub with new tile surrounds. I will post some pictures once he is done with everything. I highly recommend him. I already have a few friends lined up to hire him.

Louie has done such a great job for us at both our old and new homes. He sealed all of our granite countertops and grout in our kitchens and bathrooms before we moved into our new home at a very competitive price. He also helped us at our old home by fixing several grout areas — in the shower and bathroom counters. Some had cracked or low grout or were miscolored. He has done a great job with repairs, everything looks brand new! I would highly recommend Louie. He’s easy to reach and very responsive. His work is high quality and his pricing is great. Louie is reliable, skilled, respectful, and trustworthy. I wouldn’t go with anyone else!

Louie did a great facelift for my 20 year old shower. He was on time and quick, and much
less than another competitor. He works by himself and knows what he is doing. My shower was in much need of some help and it looks practically new again. Since he does his own estimates and work, it takes out the extra costs for bids and follow up from other companies. I highly recommend him.

I was scheduled for some re-​caulking of our bathtub for the following week, but asked if he could come out sooner if he was in the area. He called me 4 days before my appointment and said he was in the area, and could come by if we were home. We were, so he came by 10 minutes later and finished the job in under an hour. Very professional and got the job done as advertised. Very affordable and happy with the results.

Louie Leahu did a super job on 4 jobs.
1. 10 year old tiled shower: Cleaned, repaired, fixed grout and sealed tiles. Looks almost new.
2. Kitchen Sink: Made my wife happy as can be be grouting and sealing around the kitchen sink with Epoxy grout rather than the normal silicone calking which eventually turns black. The Epoxy grout will not get moldy and last 15 years instead of 2 – 5 years for silicone
3. Kitchen Tile counter: Cleaned and did a minor grout repair.
4. Bathroom sink: Sealed the under counter joint of a bathroom sink with Silicone calk.

Louie regrouted the shower tiles for me and he did a superb job. The shower looks entirely new now. I am so glad that I did not have to retile the whole thing. He then regrouted the other shower room and a bath tub. All of them are tidy and shining! Well worth the money. He is very professional and punctual.
