Albertsons

For an Albertsons this is a good one — pretty clean, friendly employees.
Albertsons regular grocery prices are steep, well above Fred Meyer. Ad prices have some good deals, but you need to be knowledgeable as sometimes the ad price gets it to Fred Meyer everyday price.
The fried chicken in the deli is always awesome — and on Mondays they have Cheep Chicken Monday — 4.99 for 8 dark pieces. The Wing Zings are always a great idea when you have to show up at a potluck and dont want to cook.

I can always count on this Albertsons to be there for me. The store is in need of a remodel and/​or expansion because I think it has the potential for more. I dropped a bottle of salad dressing recently and it shattered all over the front of the store where there was a lot of foot traffic; I was so embarrassed and their employees could not have been nicer. Love their courtesy baggers too!!! Thanks Albertsons and Happy Holidays!

I’m a little surprised I haven’t reviewed this one yet. I did live just a few miles from it for about 20 years of my life.
Anywho, since my new local Albertson’s here in Kirkland went belly up, my mom still living in near here and our «mom and daughter» alone time consisting mainly of grocery shopping on weekends (it’s the only thing we do that no one wants to tag along with) this has now become «my «Albertson’s again.
It has the various updates to décor and layout that have gone through most stores.
There isn’t much that differentiates this from any other Albertson’s except:
As this area has grown, the parking lot… and access to it, has become a bit more difficult.
Other conveniences in the strip mall keep changing (Hallmark is out of business, Tully’s is likely closing too… but on the plus side. Brooks Outlet, Mud Bay and Rite-​Aid remain, with a Big5 opening on Black Friday)
Really high volume of young staff. This is clearly a hot-​spot for the high school and young college kids to get a job. They all are pretty professional and friendly, though… so the manager is also doing a good job hiring the best of the lot.

I love the Albertsons in Canyon Park. Especially the young girl that helps me with my grocery, I believe her name is Kelly! She is the best! Their flower department is not the best and lacks any creativity.

I have not been offended at Albertsons like Gary C. below. I think Cosmopolitan is an acceptable magazine and it is not considered «explicit». Please do not judge this place by that, they are family friendly and have great customer service. Each time I come in here they answer any questions i have, and they keep lines moving.
This is the only store I have been able to consistently find party wings at, that is about the only item I come in for. Many stores only carry whole chicken wings.
Check the newspaper to scores some coupons before coming in.

Update on Alberstons… they did begin to cover their inappropriate magazine covers and did issue an apology to me stating that the covers were inappropriate for children. Thanks Albertsons… I’m changing my rating to three stars from one.
