TD Garden

I love coming to the TD Garden especially for Bruins games. I have only been here for sporting events but the crowd and the atmosphere is what makes this place worth visiting. The TD Garden is conveniently located adjacent to the North Station T as well as the commuter rails and the Nor’Easter train that can take you all the way up to Portland, ME. Don’t forget to visit the Bruins and Celtics pro shop on the 2^nd level.

We were lucky to get 6 tickets to a suite at TD Garden for a Celtics playoff game last month. What a great experience. We got these tickets through my wife’s work. It was a Sunday 6 pm game so driving and parking there were a breeze. The suite holds around 25 people and the food is bought by who ever paid for the suite. Ours had a great selection of pizza, wings, chili cheese dogs, chips dips, popcorn beer and wine. You can see great from the seats in front of the sky box and also the TV monitors provided. I told the kids dont get use to it as this was a once in a life time experience, being able to get these sky box tickets. We all had an awesome time and the Celtics even won in overtime. A great game where each person received a Celtic playoff tee shirt.

for Club Grille in the TD Garden
GF options available. GF beer in regular seating. For GF food, tell the ushers you need to be GF and you can gain access to the premium seating food vendors where there is a GF burger and pizza available (amongst other things). The vendor I went to was Club Grille and they were great about changing their gloves and being mindful of cross-​contamination. I ordered the GF cheese pizza. It was $ 17 for a 10″ round pizza. I wouldn’t order it again b/​c it tasted exactly like my grade school’s cafeteria cheese pizza. Bland times three. Nevertheless, having the GF options available was nice. I just wish the food I had tasted better, especially given the price. Now, I understand that it’s the Garden (not gourmet) but the food should still be tasty – especially in the premium seating section!

I Been in the garden many times, I Always enjoyed my time in there, the roar of the crowd as they rooting for their favorite team. Ufff amazing experience. I had recent went to The who concert, couple of Bruins games and many of Celtics games. The dynamic in there is an awesome experience, but except for some awkward moments with some patrons. And food being expensive … I will recommended to eat and drink some place else before an event. Ok

Never have a bad experience at the garden! We are here fairly often for a Celtics or Bruins game with a concert here & there sprinkled in. The food/​drink options have greatly improved over the past few years which is much appreciated. The beer lines move fast and the servers are all very friends. Avoid the bathroom at half time but other than that the lines there are never too bad as they are huge. Love having the gahhhdennn as part of bostons history!

First time ever at a Celtics game… Nice venue… food and drinks were a tad expensive, but for the most part a nice arena… was disappointed in the crowd (more so the people in my area; they were anti-​social)…

Writing just as a PSA to a lot of people out there:
They do NOT accept mobile versions of StubHub tickets at the entrances. We got turned away after we passed security, told to head back the other way and downstairs to the box office to have them print out tickets for us. Great, navigating backwards through the influx of traffic that is going towards the entrance. Good idea.
So we get to the box office and they tell us they don’t support StubHub tickets. Understandable, sure… but they send us across the street to some dingy print shop to literally print the tickets on a printer. That shop charged $ 10 to do so. Obviously banking on the fact that nobody is going to deny $ 10 when it comes to printing $ 60+ tickets.
I can sort of get on board with not accepting StubHub tickets. But why would you send us to the box office to «print the tickets» when the box office is just going to send us across the street anyway?
Wasted 20 minutes doing all this. It’s quite shocking how in this day and age they don’t accept mobile tickets. I fully expected, as many venues do, to have them scan my ticket on my phone and then print out a little receipt as a hardcopy ticket so that you you can navigate to your seat (AT&T park style, TYVM).
But to be given this cat and mouse game of trying to find out how to get into the stupid venue was ridiculous. Boston… sorry, California owns you guys when it comes to streamlining this process. It’s 2016. Get it together.

A huge arena that can take the massive crowds. I can deal with the staff and their hard nosed security.
The tickets for all events are usually outrageous, thus limiting my visits to once a year or less.
The concessions are terrible. They have overpriced and gross unhealthy food choices.
Drinks are also over priced so pack a flask or drink at a bar before you enter.
I wish Boston had another good smaller arena to bring in big name concerts or smaller names that is not so pretentious as the Garden.,

I visited Boston with a couple of my girlfriends for a weekend getaway and we decided to attend a Celtics game at the popular «Gah-​den»! Anyone and everyone knows that Boston has a history of winning from the early days so the people here in general are very die hard and knowledgeable about their team and sports. Attending here you can see the Celtics and Bruins Championship banners being displayed, what a legacy!
Getting to the arena was easy since there’s a train station here. And since it’s a destination, there’s tons of restaurants and stores around. My girlfriends got to the arena early so we decided to pre-​game in one of the local pubs around, and everyone was pretty much sporting their Boston gear. Since it was game day, the city was filled with people so very easy to walk around at night even with a crowd of only girls.
The arena itself is old, from the steps, escalators, walls and seats (uncomfortable wooden ones). There seemed to be lines everywhere you turn, to go up the escalators, to the bathrooms, to get food/​drinks. If you’re seated in the nosebleeds, they pretty much suck. The court felt so far and the TV was definitely a challenge to watch because it was also small. But you go here for the experience and you can definitely feel the aura of sports fever and pride!

The regular seats have very little leg room and can be pretty uncomfortable, but I was just there for a Celtics game in the Fan Box and it was amazing! I definitely recommend trying out the fan box or club seats at least once in your life. They often have sales to make the ticket costs pretty reasonable.

Went and saw muse Monday, my son accidentally left a bag with 4 shirts in it under the seat. I called to see if there may have been a good human being turn them into lost and found. I was promoted to leave a message to which I got no return phone call… Fuck this place and their greedy fucking ways… At least I get to drink free. Fuck off Garden seriously you’re the worst !!!

Very clean and organized venue. not as large at it seems honestly. my 3 stars are because you have to walk, something that it feels like a mile, to be able to grab a beer. On top of that they ONLY serve beer and is highly overpriced. Its a pain in the butt because by the time you get your hands into any kind of alcohol you have easily lost 15+ of the show. They also stop serving alcohol after 11pm and be alert THEY ONLY TAKE PASSPORTS OR MASS IDs WHEN SELLING YOU ALCOHOL. Good luck and have fun! Me, I wouldn’t find myself coming here again, unless I really have to.

I’ve been to numerous events at this venue including WWE TLC, Smackdown, Raw, a Bruins game, a Celtics game, numerous Blazers game, and a Linkin Park concert. The TD Garden is a pretty big arena it has a Lodge, Balcony, and a promenade. The Balcony aka. the «nose bleeds» are not as bad as they seem. I went to WWE Raw in the nose bleeds and could see perfectly from up there. I have been to WWE TLC, Smackdown, the Blazers, a Bruins game, and a Celtics game in the Lodge. All of my experiences in the lodge have been great. The concession in the balcony and the lodge are exceptional. They have name brand and none name brand stands. Overall the «Gaden» as we say in Boston is a great place to catch a game or a concert

Finally had the opportunity to watch a Celtics game from TD Garden as opposed to the Staples Center where I usually have to wait until they play either the Lakers or the Clippers.
I must say, the crowd at the Timberwolves v. Celtics game was much more friendlier than the people I’ve experienced at the Staples Center. Only downside was that KG didn’t play!!!

Recently went on my first trip to Boston. I decided to see the Pittsburgh Penguins play the Boston Bruins play at TD Garden. Easily purchased tickets using my StubHub app.
On game day I took a taxi to the arena. Took a photo in front of the Bobby Orr statue and headed into the arena. I’ve never used my phone as the ticket before but was presently surprised when after it was scanned I was given a ticket.
The staff in this arena is so helpful. I was looking for a different size hoody for a friend and the manager called around as able to locate one. If I wasn’t a diehard Kings fan I might have bought something for myself.
At the concession they have some pretty good food options. I selected the footlong slice of pepperoni pizza and a grilled cheese lobster sandwich. Oh my God. They give you large pieces of lobster. Plus it even came with potato chips and a small serving of clam chowder.
It was a great experience and I would highly recommend. The Boston Bruins even shutout (kept the other team from scoring) the Penguins.

TD Garden officials. Ever heard of Paperwork Reduction Act? If a Person has a mobile ticket, your barcode scanners should be able to scan them. I went to TD garden earlier and they scanned the barcode from my phone screen. The second time I went there, they told me to go out and take a print of the ticket. We stood in huge queues in the CVS outside to take prints and I missed almost an hour of the concert. Really Ridiculous

A went for the Spurs vs Celtics game. I got great seats through Ticketmaster; very easy and stress free. The only sad thing is that they got rid of the Captain Morgan rum runners! There are no longer any frozen drinks in the whole venue. If you want an alcoholic drink you have to buy beer or hard liquor over ice. There is a beer stand every 5 feet. I was very disappointed, I just ended up getting a coke. There’s not even a place to get a mixed cocktail.
The whole places is maze, your could walk in circles for hours trying to find the right food /​beverage stand that you want. The food is average. The line for the bathrooms are ridiculous. Try to go while the show/​game is going on so that you don’t wait till the mission or halftime.
Parking can be terrible. But if you get there early and /​or don’t mind parking a few blocks away you’ll be fine. It’s a total rip off to pay for parking passes. And don’t take the MBTA because it gets completely packed. You can’t move and there are people who are not from Boston looking all around and acting like chickens with their heads cut off. Its aggravating and very slow especially at North Station. Drive if you can.

Came through here a couple times while hopping on and off the train. Pretty clean considering how much traffic runs through here. Since I was passing through via train I was able to catch a Celtics game right as it started. Such a great surprise. Even better tickets were $ 10-​$ 40 that night. Was able to purchase some fan gear at a reasonable price, I get it things are up sold on location not a surprise. Seats were high up but I still was able to see all the plays and enjoy myself. Would come back for another game!

This was my first time at the gahden! It was also my very first Bruins game. I couldn’t have had a better time honestly. The parking costs $ 45 (a tad redic but oh well.) The beer, the food and the seats were awesome! The energy in this place is amazing and instantly gets you excited. There are tons of food/​drink venders, literally everywhere you turn which makes it very fast and easy to get back to your seat. I can’t wait to go back.

I’ve been stalking Winter Classic tickets online for mucho weeks, looking for a presale code or regular on-​sale date.
Called the box Monday — as in 2 days ago — «no info available — .com will have a notice and send you an email when tickets go on sale»…awesome! I’ll be waiting, thanks. .and eff the Habs!
Then I find out that tickets actually went on sale to the public Tuesday — as in yesterday. 1 day ago. 1 day after I called about it — and promptly sold out :((
What the actual puck, guys? !! Soooo not cool.

Ick. I will not be returning here (I used to enjoy concerts here) due to their support and hosting of Ringling Bros Circus that beats animals. Public opinion has greatly changed on how we view fellow sentient beings. These poor elephants — have you seen how they train them? They use «bullhooks» — something Massachusetts may be outlawing and then Ringling would no longer be able to return to this state (bullhooks are already banned in the Northwestern states and others).
I find it completely pathetic that TD Garden would host an event known worldwide for its animal cruelty. Just a simple google search will open your eyes, if you have not seen what I’m talking about.
Thanks to social media, animal abuse is not something hidden. Millions of people have viewed the atrocities Ringling has put these intelligent animals through. Sorry, TD Garden, but you have totally lost me as a potential ticket buyer to any of your events. I can speak for my friends and family as well. I hope in the future you will think more deeply about who you bring to your stadium and what that says about your business. Disappointed, yes. Sad, yes. The day will come when children will say, «What? People used to dress up elephants and tigers and other beautiful creatures to use them as entertainment? And they beat them so they would be terrified? That’s disgusting.» For many children, that day has already come.

The Boston Celtics and the Boston Bruins play here. What else do you want?
I’ll just get the obvious stuff out of the way. Yes, everything is expensive, and yes, parking is a pain. That’s nothing different from any other arena.
The best way to get to the Garden is by train. One step of off it, and then you’re practically right in the lobby. Once you’re seated, it will be hard to not enjoy your experience. I’ve watched two Celtics games here, and following along with the action has never been an issue. When I was here for a U2 concert, the first row balcony seats were guaranteed tremendous, to say the least.
I’ve never walked out of the TD Garden hypnotized, and there are definitely better stadiums out there. Nonetheless, sports and concerts still make for a solid experience.

Pros: My favorite teams play there. Very easy to take the T to the game. Vast food and drink options.
Cons: It is absolute hell to drive in and park under the garden. The attendant makes you pay and gives you a ticket, then has you drive 20 feet to the gate that dispenses tickets where another man asks you to pay again. You tell him you just paid and show him ticket number 1. he then lets you in to the 5 floors of cuthroat parking abyss. After all of that they do not just open the gates on the way out. They make you show your tickets and pay another dude to sit and man the gate. Oh and absolutely no Wi-​Fi once you enter so you definitely need to know where other members of your party are/​are parking before you get there. Makes absolutely no sense that they don’t operate like the hundreds of other city parking garages.

Came for a Bruins game. Easy transit access, good in-​game experience.
But what kind of stadium doesn’t have water fountains??? Every concession stand is supposed to have courtesy cups, and yet they all claim they don’t and try to sell you a bottle of water for $ 4.50. Don’t fall for it. They have courtesy cups. If they refuse go to guest services and complain.

First time here. A smaller version of Madison Square Garden in NYC. Oh and you should offer red bull. It would help

TD Gardens seems to be easy to get to from almost anywhere in Downtown Boston just by hopping on the «T» and heading to North Station. We came from Copley Station and it only took about 10 – 12 minutes tops to get to the North Station… so great!
This place is massive!!! I would advise you to research the place online or call in advance for tips if your a first timer to this location! I was thankful to have had a person email me in advance to let me know will call was on the first floor by a Dunkin Donuts… although there are a few of those on this level so it could still be a bit confusing, but there are guards everywhere that don’t mind us non-​locals asking for a little directional assistance :)
Waiting for entry in a «line» to go upstairs can feel a bit insane, and you may wonder how crazy it’s going to be when people start rushing upstairs to get in… but even with the big mob around you, everyone seems pretty chill and respectful for the most part as you make your way upstairs to get in multiple lines to have your bags checked. The process doesn’t take as long as you would expect with that high volume of people since the workers are for the most part super efficient at what they do! For those of you who want to be earlier prepare yourself for the crowd! But if you don’t mind just being on time, you’ll skip the crazy crowd that wants to be there early.
We came for a Celtics game and had a blast!!! Great views from almost any seat, so I wouldn’t worry too much about where your seat is located… they all seem to be great in how it’s setup! I will post a pic from our seat so you can see what the view looks like from a seat that’s a bit higher up.
Seems to be a huge food selection. We just got some Pop in a Commemorative Celtics cup and large Popcorn prior to sitting down and spent about 12 dollars I think… both were fine enough. But the crowd in front of me seemed to like food more then watching the game itself and left frequently for more food then I ever realized were possibly offered at one location… like gelato, wraps, salads, pizza, your basics of hotdogs and burgers and so much more… man I guess I sound like a food stalker but couldn’t help but notice since they blocked our view throughout the game due to how often they got up to get food! Lol!
However, nothing could ruin this experience, and loved the setup, the game, and the hilarious Jumbo TV’s where the film crew periodically videoed the audience searching for all those great crazy fans who are willing to entertain the rest of us with their dance moves or lack there of with the most outrageous celtics outfits you’ve ever seen in your life… hoping to be picked for «fan of the night». It was almost as good as the game… but theres just no competing with the professionals ya know :) what a great night that I will remember forever!

They’ve made massive improvements to the Garden’s food options. The best spot hands down is «Marketplace» which is on the wall side of the stadium. They have mac n cheese, «fancy» Nachos, roast beef sandwiches, and generally fresher options than the packaged popcorn/​nachos/​candy options.
Seating is great at the Garden for games too. It’s built pretty low to the ground so that you feel like you’re closer to the action, and I’ve never had any problems with the guy in front of me blocking my view.

Clearly a lot of history here, but I’m a bit spoiled as a sports fan being from Indianapolis. The Garden is old and a bit rough around the edges. Expect small seats with limited arm/​leg room. Also, they seem fairly low tech. Wouldn’t let us into the Bruins game with our electronic tickets, even though the e-​tickets have bar codes. They made us provide printed copies. Seems like a number of upgrades are needed. The fan atmosphere is mostly friendly, though you’re sure to have plenty of profanities at any hockey game.

In the last few years we have had the opportunity to see a ton of different shows and sporting events at TD Bank. Some of our favorites over the years have been the Trans-​Siberian Orchestra, Enrique Iglesias in concert, as well as Disney on Ice and any Celtics games we can get our hands on.
We have seen shows at other arenas and this is probably our favorite. Parking here at times can be a pain, but the staff here is the nicest we have met and the arena itself is well taken care of. There is one employee we have met a few times who runs the kitchen on the club level who is always polite to us, I believe her name is Liz. She always remembers us and makes us feel welcome to the facility.
The other thing we like about this arena is the fact that transportation is directly below it. It was nice to jump onto a train the last time we were here. Overall, we love this place and obviously the history that has taken place under its roof. We just need to come back for a Bruins game soon.
