Ridiculous. DO NOT GET YOUR LAUNDRY/​DRY CLEANING here. I’ve always gotten my laundry here and had no problems. However recently our laundry had gotten switched and given to a different person. We came back to super cleaners to return the laundry and retrieve ours but the owner was so RUDE. In the end, the guy who had our laundry came in because he realized he had our laundry after opening up our laundry (no thanks to the owner). The next day, i look into our laundry bag and realize none of my socks and couple of articles are missing. I was quite upset at this point, as they had consecutively messed up my laundry. I go to the super cleaners and the owner is not there so i had to speak to her over the phone. This lady was unbelievably rude; i was BAFFLED. Basically, our conversation was her insinuating that i was LYING because i was trying to take advantage of the situation from yesterday (when laundry got switched). They were not expensive clothing and was not a big deal, i just wanted her to assure me she will do everything she can to make sure i get my laundry back. I waited for the owner for half an hour, and when she gets in she says to her employee «is this the customer?» Then continues to say to me «WHY ARE YOU HERE?» That is absolutely no way to greet a customer. In our face to face conversation she basically told me i’m lying and that my business is only worth 50 $ and she has over hundreds of customers so she does not care. UNBELIEVABLE. Its unfortunate that when it came down to this situation, the owner had to be so rude and discourteous. I probably would have continued doing my laundry here if it was not for the owner’s ABSOLUTE DISREGARD for her customers. PLEASE for your own sake, do not trust them to care about your clothing or YOU.

Rude, unprofessional and careless. Had 3 items altered there one set of a 2 piece dress and a separate skirt, one of my skirts came back ruined and lost the original form/​style of the skirt. Owner of the store tried offering to fix it but said the original integrity of the style has been cut and throughout our whole conversation, she was rude and said it was my fault for not knowing «how tailoring works.» I offered her a time I am willing to come in for her to fix it but she said she could not wait that long/​has other things to do… In the end her best offer was to not charge me for the skirt. UM, my dress is a 2 piece. Why am I paying you to fix both when essentially you ruined the way the whole piece looked?! I had to haggle her to take of the charge for the top piece of the dress only then she obliged. TERRIBLE SERVICE, TERRIBLE JOB, STAY AWAY. unless you want your $ 100+ worth of a dress you bought to be ruined.

Bad service and customer service. When they mess up on a alteration or dry cleaning, they do very little to try and fix it. I spoke to the owner of the store and she was very rude and inconsiderate. She does not understand how to properly run a business or even the simplest meaning of customer satisfaction. Take your business elsewhere, and never trust your items with them.

Horrible service. I brought a jacket and silk top here to be cleaned. Both of them were completely ruined. The top is now unwearable. The worst part is that the owner has been dodging my calls. The man at the counter is very nice and gave me her contact info. She responded to my original pictures by apologizing and saying she’ll «look into it.» Four weeks later, I can’t get her to answer a message and the people at the counter tell me they can’t do anything about it. $ 150 silk top ruined and I only got to wear it a few times… some reimbursement/​acknowledgement would be nice

THEY DO NOT LISTEN TO YOUR INSTRUCTION ON ALTERATION!
1^st Visit: I told them to sew the length of my dress in a specific manner.
2^nd Visit: They didn’t listen to me. The hemming was UNPROFESSIONAL and my dress was STAINED with oil from the sewing machine!
3^rd Visit: The purchase tag from my dress was missing. Why in the world you take off the purchase tag without owner’s permission? I planned on reselling the dress and authenticating the brand by not removing the tag from the dress.

i didnt even set foot in this place and i already have decided against using it. i’m looking for some quickstitch monogramming done, it really shouldnt be this hard… and this place sounded promising… but i called, and there was a profound language barrier [dont know how they stay in business if they cant comprehend tasks related to their profession]…so after i tried explaining, three different ways, what i wanted done, my phone number was recited, in broken english [a tad creepy], and i was told to call back… um…no?

I used to hold super cleaners in high regard, until my last visit. I brought in some shirts to be pressed and upon picking them up, found one of them with a giant tear in the sleeve. The jerk at the counter said I brought them in that way, which is absolutely untrue because I take good care of all my shirts. Obviously I was mad because he lied so I threw down my credit card an he had the nerve to throw my card on the floor and told me to pick up my own card! The nerve! I have worked in customer service for so long and have dealt with PLENTY of pissy customers but never would have expected that! I guess when they lie about ruining their customer’s shirts to begin with, they don’t have much to lose. So if you’re considering super cleaners, ask yourself: is it worth the grief?

I don’t understand how this place could have such great reviews. I sent in my 3 sweaters and 1 wool winter coat, and they all came back crappy in some shape or form. The sweaters hardly looked washed — had hair (not mine. it was light brown) and pilling all over it.
And the leather trimmings on my BRAND NEW coat were completely shredded. i am pissed as hell. i’ve been to a lot of different dry cleaners in my life and i’ve never seen such poor work. i’m never ever EVER going back to this place.

I have used this place a number of times now. The man who works there is the sweetest man and very helpful. Its great because it is fairly priced and fast.
The only small drawbacks are that it’s not open very late on weekdays, so if you’re like me and you don’t get off work till 5:30, plan on leaving your clothes until the weekend. It can get frustrating.
Also, be for-​warned that he only takes cash, so come prepared or he’ll turn you away.

I just moved to LA from Boston and one of the things I miss the most is Mrs. Lee at Super Cleaners. She is a great tailor, super fast and does exactly what you ask her to do and better. I’m very picky and specific about how I like my clothes to fall on me. When I come in with requests, she usually knows exactly what I mean and even makes really constructive suggestions. She has a great eye and is also very reasonably priced.
I’m writing this review in the midst of my search for a comparable tailor here in LA and it’s been hard, so 5 stars for the Allston Super Cleaners!

lamo-​namo but Super Service at Super Cleaners!
I take all of my dry cleaning to Super Cleaners and bring pants that need to be hemmed here as well and have no complaints. They are open when I get out of work (i.e. late) and they are open on Saturday AND Sunday which is unusual for many dry cleaners. The turn around time from when I drop off suits that need to be dry cleaned is typically three days and I’ve never had an article of clothing damaged in any way. Drop off your dry cleaning on Saturday and pick it up on Tuesday. How convenient! The cost is typical for dry cleaning. My one complaint is that the address is listed as 1065 Commonwealth Avenue which is the Shaw’s Supermarket address, but in reality they are located behind Shaw’s. You can make your way down to Super Cleaners through Shaw’s which is nice, but still a bit confusing. I’ve never used the wash-​dry-​fold service so I can’t speak of that, but if you are looking for quick dry cleaning Super Cleaners is the place to go.

I feel like dry cleaners are something that should be measured against the competition in the neighborhood; it’s not like you’re going to go in town just to find a good cleaner (well, I wouldn’t).
Super Cleaners, lame name notwithstanding, is… well, Super. An absolute treat, especially given the context. You have to look hard for them; their address is technically 1065 Commonwealth Avenue, but they’re in the basement of Shaw’s, around the back (the other side from the Comm Ave entrance) – or you can go through Shaw’s.
The proprietor, who is ALWAYS there, is attentive, easy to talk to, understanding, and friendly as all get-​out. He’s got incredibly turnaround time and his prices are actually lower than Kwik-Time’s, which is across the street on Comm Ave.
Definitely look for this place – it’s a way better than anything in the area.

I’ve had really good experiences at this place, with drycleaning and with alterations too. The people are really nice and try to help you out. They don’t speak much English, but that usually works out fine. Prices are about normal for this area.
