Description

Specialties

Specialty coffee, cozy place, great people, awesome experience!

Set in the Back Bay, the first American outpost of this popular Brazilian coffee shop is a stylish affair, featuring leather sofas and colorful décor. The menu provides café fare and pastries, but the stars of the show are the signature brewed javas and elaborate specialty flavors like Mocha Leche, a dolce de leche-spiked creation, and Affogato, a riff on the ice cream dessert.

History

Established in 2011.

Sofá Café was conceived by a Forest Engineer who loves a good cup of coffee. In 2011, the first Sofá Café opened its doors in São Paulo, Brazil. Two years later and with three more shops at São Paulo, the owners decide to bring Sofá Café to USA, and the city chosen was Boston.

At Sofá Café you will find only Specialty Coffee, produced at the most traditional regions of Brazil. The coffee is Fair Trade and Direct Trade, and most of the production is Organic. Our coffee shops are Award Winner as one off the Best Coffee Shops in Brazil.

Engaged in social and environmental projects, Sofá Café helps the nature conservancy of Brazil and has a Barista School, where we train, as charity, young people as Baristas and Coffee Roasters.

Here we serve coffee in several different methods, so you can enjoy it in the way you like it.

It’s a cool place, with great coffee, and awesome people!
