We have been serving home-made food since 1979. We offer a large variety of wraps, specializing in Lebanese Cuisine as well as popular American Cuisine.
Sami’s is a family owned business that brings you the tastes of the Middle East straight to your mouth. Originating in 1979, Sami’s had humble beginnings operating 24⁄7 in a mini food court. Over 35 years later, Sami’s reopened and still serving Boston our unique and flavorful family recipes at a great price.
Our original creation of our «Wraps» and «Rolls» came our Lebanese heritage, where sandwiches can have many different names. «Luff-ee» which is a common name, means «wrap» when translated to English. We decided to redesign our menu to create all our dishes served inside of a tortilla as a «Wrap», while calling our dishes served inside a pita a «Roll-Up». Since the birth of the wrap and roll-up, we have been able to offer many options ranging from Chicken Tawook to the Falafel Monster.
Aside from our signature wraps and roll-ups, our specialties still also remain a crowd favorite. From traditional Baba Ghanoush to our succulent Shawarma, our extensive menu gives our family of customers lots of options to choose from of quality Mediterranean-style dishes.

History
Established in 1979.
Starting in 1979, and for over twenty years, we operated a mini food court, open 24⁄7 located on Longwood Avenue in Boston. Middle Eastern Food is our specialty, and we served our sandwiches rolled up in Pita. We also offered Mexican Food, and of course, the Burritos were served in a Tortilla.
Our late night clientele usually come to us a little tipsy. Some of them had a little difficulty distinguishing between a Pita and a tortilla, so their orders would get messed up a little, and it created a major problem that we had to smooth out.
To make the story short, in Lebanon, where I was born, a sandwich has many different names. One name is «Luff-ee», means «Wrap», when translated to English. So we re-designed the menu in such a way that every sandwich that was served in Pita was called a Roll-Up, and when served in a tortilla it became a Wrap, and that is how the «Wrap» was born. To the best of my knowledge, I truly believe that I was the first person to use this title.
