Late review. I came across a saved picture we had taken for a review we promised, but had not done it… My husband and I were there in October 215. This place, the food and staff, including the owner, were AWESOME! OMG! Food was out of this world! We went in for a drink and snack and got treated to some authentic Italian food. Everything was well done and tasted and presented as gourmet! Pizza to desert. I wish I could tell you what we had, but could not even pronounce some of it. I must say, this is way more than a pizza place. That does not do it justice. Tiny but perfect! We would go back again, and again!

Stopped by for a bite for lunch. Small space but clean and modern. Sampled a slice of cheese pizza and the eggplant. Both were really good. But if you don’t like doughy Sicilian style pizza then it won’t be to your liking as that’s the way they make it. The eggplant was served on garlic bread, covered with cheese and was delicious. The owner/chef made a point of asking us how we liked the food, also pulled us aside to show us his hand made cannoli shells. Always a plus to me to have the mgt that passionate. I’ll be back!

Might be one of the worst pizza’s I’ve ever had. Got a pepperoni. I think the major culprit was it was underdone. the dough was gummy/chewy. The cheese had that Elio’s pizza melt and the pepperonis were just there. Taste-wise it was okay, so cooked better, it might be a different story. In a neighborhood with so many pizza options, undercooked pizza will never win the day.

Rina’s is the perfect place to go if you want Italian food but don’t want to go through the whole sit down and see a waitress process. The food is not your average Italian food, they have lots of unique items and fun Italian desserts. The chicken cutlets are great and so are the arancini balls. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a busy night but they were still patient and calm. I defineitely recommend Rina’s if you’re looking for a quick meal in the North End.

Honestly, I had my eyes out for Locale across the street and haven’t heard or Rinas until I walked up to my dismay that Locale wasn’t taking cards that night :(But luckily Rinas had some good reviews, was starving, and wasn’t in the mood to be picky! I got the meatballs, arugula salad, and prosciutto di Parma pizza to go. The pizza and meatballs were a must have, you could skip on the salad(and I always try to promote extra greens!). The salad was a bit soggy by the time I got back home, so not their fault, however there was just way too much dressing in it for my liking. I should have asked for it on the side. Despite that, it was still in theory a good salad. It had all the flavors and textures I liked! The pizza and meatballs are must haves! The meatballs were moist and flavorful. You could really taste the spices and complexities that were put into the dish. Also, the sauce was great for dipping our crusts in:) I want to say the pizza was pretty simple, but in the best way possible. It had great ingredients, flavors, chewiness, etc. Everything you’d expect out of a north end shop. Overall I was very happy with my experience. I just wish there was more of it D: On top of that, there was a Nutella pizza sample on the counter while I waited. Any place that offers up free Nutella gets a vote from me!

We weren’t planning on coming here but got caught walking in a rainstorm and dove in here throughly soaked. We weren’t expecting much and were blown away. The food that comes out of a dime a dozen pizzeria was GREAT! Our party had salads, sandwiches, gnocchi, & pizza and everyone left very happy! They have a more up scale restaurant next door that I’m sure is killer. As we were eating they were bringing a dessert they made next door… It was a rice ball filled with chocolate & fried and on a bed of ricotta… My jaw dropped so they set one to the side for me. SOGOOD!!! And the staff was WONDERFUL!

I tried this place the first weekend it opened and had a bad experience. I had the Milanese sandwich and it was SUPER dry and didn’t have a good flavor. I was very disappointed because the place had such a great atmosphere and a very appetizing menu. After reading all the reviews of people saying this place had the best pizza they’d ever had, I decided to give it another try. We ordered two pizzas for takeout and neither were good. The crust was floppy and one of them tasted like it was severely undercooked. I have no idea what everyone else saw in this place and I will not be returning.

Food: Pizza Staff: Very friendly Atmosphere: Stand-up pizza Parking: Plan on walking I was in town for work and decided to grab something to eat. Who would have guessed there was Italian food in Boston. I ended up going into Rina’s because there wasn’t a line and I was pretty hungry. Normally, when there isn’t anyone in a restaurant I get nervous, but things looked pretty good so I tried it anyway. I ended up ordering the Prosciutto Di Parma. It was a good pizza, but there was a bit to much olive oil for my taste. It wasn’t drenched in oil, but I wanted to taste it less and the prosciutto a little bit more. The other thing I would change is breaking up the mozzarella slices a little bit more so that when you slice the pieces the cheese cuts all the way through. Just my preference though. The staff was great and there were plenty of TVs to watch the game. Ordered Dish: — Prosciutto Di Parma

Ordered pickup last night and I would say among the best pizza I ever had in my life. We ordered the prosciutto di parma and the Ragusana pizzas for two people, and were a bit late to pick them up so they were room temperature by the time we got there. We flash-baked them when we got home for a few minutes(500 degrees in the oven for 3 minutes or so), and even under these sort of less-than-favorable conditions it was among the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The prosciutto di parma was covered in layers of north-end quality prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella cheese such that each bite you found yourself tasting and relishing the quality ingredients. As for the Ragusana pizza, it was covered in more sausage and black olives than I’ve ever seen on a pizza, and as someone who is sometimes frustrated on places that skimp on the toppings to «cut costs», it feels almost as though they spared no cost in layering ingredients onto the pizza. I would say the crust was chewy and tasty for the most part, though one section of the Ragusana was a bit burnt even prior to our flash-baking; however, it resulted in a crispy-tasting end of the pizza(rather than tasting burnt, you could say it tasted«flame-licked»). I would say the focus on the toppings in each bite is definitely more prevalent than the focus on the dough and the tomato sauce(which was sweet and clean, but not overpowering and by no means was this a «saucy» pizza, which I prefer). I will go back again, and look forward to bringing my friends back and introducing them to a new neighborhood pizza place. And for reasonable prices($ 11 for personal pizzas that were a bit more than one person could eat but, because they were so tasty, a bit less than enough for two, especially if you want to experiment), we were more than happy to have our leftovers for breakfast today.

Calzone was phenomenal! The service was so friendly we really loved going in there. The oven is apparently sent in from Italy and cost $ 25000. It sure pays off. You can watch the dough bubble up and get a gorgeous crust. The portions were huge for what we paid too. The margherita pizza looked great too, as did the meatballs, but we didn’t try anything else. This place is definitely going to be my first stop if Im ever in Boston again.

My coke bottle was lukewarm. I have not tried the pizza yet, but even if it is godly, the disgusting coke messed up my whole groove.

Pizza is equivalent of the best pizza I had in Italy. Not to mention the Staff is friendly and helpful and truly passionate. I enjoyed every bite of the Margherita pizza! Highly recommend for people visiting the north end.

The pizza at Rina’s was very good and contained top quality ingredients. The prices were affordable for the high quality and size of pizza. The atmosphere was modern and inviting. The staff there was very friendly. I will certainly go back to Rina’s very soon!

Excellent pizza! We had the Genovese pizza, which is a pesto pizza with prosciutto and(I think) buffalo mozzarella. If you’re a pesto fan, give it a try. It was delish! The pesto is home made and the crust was excellent. Easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had(I currently live in Chicago and I lived in Italy for 6 weeks, so I know good pizza). The staff was very friendly. There is a very small eating area, which is the only downside. We had to wait a few minutes for a spot, but it was well worth it. I highly recommend it!

Rina’s Pizzeria was the second stop on my Search for the Best Slice in Boston. They have a nice and modern interior, with a bit of booth seating. They only do slices of cheese and pepperoni(kind of a bummer), so my boyfriend and I ordered one of each. The slices were tasty, but quite small(especially for $ 3 each!) and not even close to being on par with the big slices you get from other pizza places.

The best pizza we have ever had, and that includes Italy. Bonnie and I were walking through Little Italy in Boston’s North End. There were so many restaurants to choose from. We walked past Rina’s heading up to Paul Revere’s house. When we decided to head back towards Quincy Market to grab a bite, we remembered passing Rina’s Pizzeria. It looked like a great little place to grab a bite to eat. Once inside, we ordered a whole pie(margherita). It was more than we wanted. But once we started eating, it just wasn’t enough. I started talking with Steve who was making our pizza. After a few minutes of talking with him, you feel like you have been good friends for years. In fact, everyone there were as friendly. Before we knew it, at least an hour had passed. Wish we knew about this place earlier in our trip. They have an unbelievable menu. Their meatballs looked and smelled great. Others there raved about them as well. We will definitely come back here again our next time in Boston. Actually would come back just to eat there.

Stopped by a week after they opened and while we were visiting Boston. It was great. Small seating space, but it’s very beautiful and elegant. I got the stuffed pepper & the calamari salad and it was delish! The only advice I could say for that meal was to put the pepper on a larger plate, as the bowl was a bit small to maneuver the food & utensils. The Calamari salad was a little vinegary for me, but still delicious. Boyfriend got one of their sandwiches and was very happy about it. Huge portions for a reasonable price. Absolutely recommend!

The best pizza in the north end! You will not find a better pizza, cooked in a 620° brick oven and it only takes minutes to cook! The chef Steve took care of me in no time! Fresh dough, really nice sweet sauce and great cheese made a perfect margherita pizza. Seriously this is the best pizza you are going to find. Go here. It’s fast, cheap, delicious and done extremely well.
