I wish i could give them negative stars. Once they have your money, they are impossible to get in touch with and completely unhelpful. I’ve had to go to the extent of calling them from other numbers to get them to answer. I wouldn’t use them again, EVER.

I wanted to leave a review to praise the easy transaction I just had with Anzalone. I connected with Beth Anzalone after liking an apartment on Zillow. After some qualification to see if I was an ideal candidate for the apartment, I got to see the apartment which was as good as the photos made it seem.
I then got to work with Beth and Lisa Ventresca (who got me my first North End apartment many moons ago). Have to say, the care and attention these two paid to make sure the landlord and I were a good fit was exceptional. In contrast to many North End brokers that will show you a cave and plop you in there without any regard, this is a refreshing work ethic.
Also, the long and vast market knowledge Lisa has is a legit benefit. I mean not just knowing who owns a building, but knowing the family (i.e. being able to say «you know, so and so’s daughter»). Lucky I found this apartment and lucky Lisa and I know each other.

Unprofessional is the nicest word I can think of to describe these women. My best advice is to run the other way — they are out to make a quick buck and nothing else. They seem to live on a different planet where customer service doesn’t exist. They act like they are doing you a favor to answer a basic question. Rude, arrogant and nasty beneath the shallow surface.

Been gone overseas for 2 years and once again Anzalone was incredibly helpful when I got home. I was so grateful to work with Maria again. She found us a great place and was super helpful. Again, paid the broker’s fee and it was worth every last penny. I’ve seen other realty places pop up in the neighborhood. Some of them advertised good looking apartments. I even made the mistake of contacting a few. They all were full of it telling me the apartment wasn’t available even though it had been posted that morning an hour before I called. I should’ve just stuck with who I knew and I’m glad I did in the end. Can’t say enough about Anzalone

I am a REALTOR in the Boston area, and have worked with hundreds of agents. Anzalone’s real estate agent, Stacy Schuster, is AWESOME. She is the most ethical, down-​to-​earth, informative agent I have met in the Boston area. It is VERY hard to find 1. an agent who does this full time and 2 to find someone who is going to work in your best interest. … especially in a city! If you are looking for just that, Stacy is your girl! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

I worked with Stacy Schuster this past summer to find a 2 bedroom apartment in the North End. One of my friends recommended her after I had an underwhelming experience when finding my first apartment 2 years ago. Because of my prior experience being a poor one, I was delighted to work with Stacy. I emailed her the list of what I wanted in my new place and we exchanged a few emails back and forth about price range, etc. About 4 – 6 weeks later, she emailed me about an apartment that had just come on the market that day and she thought it would be perfect for my sister me. We ended up renting it and are very happy in our new place!
I would recommend Stacy for many reasons. She is highly knowledgeable about real estate in the North End. She knows what you can get for your price range and I appreciated her insight about how my current apartment was a great space for the price because I had nothing to compare it to (I lived in a one bedroom prior). She is professional, down-​to-​earth, and reliable. She emailed me back promptly as well. One of the best things about her is that she isn’t pushy. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed along, she truly took her time with us. After we signed our lease, my parents wanted to see the new place and she arranged for this and was happy to do it. If you’re going to hand over a realtor’s fee, it’s nice to give it to a realtor who has your best interest, is accountable, and is basically a rock star.
I would highly recommend Stacy, she was a delight to work with and I will work with her in the future!

Having never signed a formal lease in my life, I wasn’t sure what to expect when first stepping into Anzalone Realty. My significant other and I got word on a property that was exclusively leased by this realty office and contacted Stacy Schuster for more information. She met with us on a Saturday afternoon and talked us through how everything would work. We were corresponding back and forth with the former tenants and property manager for quite some time and Stacy never gave up on working for us, even though we didn’t even have anything in writing yet. Stacy was responsive, friendly and extremely patient with us and our persistent flurry of questions and emails. Another reason Stacy is a rockstar, there was some confusion with the cleaners right before move-​in and Stacy made sure everything was in tip top shape by the time we picked up our keys. Stacy, thank you for helping us find our dream apartment in the N. End! You really made this experience easy for us renting our first apartment together. Five stars for Anzalone Realty.

Love Anzalone Realty! I rented an apartment on Thatcher street through Anzalone Realty from September 2006 – 2007 and was VERY happy with both the apartment and my experience with the realty office. The apartment was beautiful! Very clean, and well kept with a working gas fireplace, door entry system, appliances, etc (i’ve lived in so many apartment all over Boston and this one was by far the nicest). The only reason i am not stll in that apartment is because i got married and we needed a bigger space! I love the North End and highly reccommend Anzalone!

I was moving from across the country to Boston for school and had been warned that a good real estate agent is rare if not impossible to find.
After some research on Unilocal,I called the best rated agencies in the North End. The first few blew me off or told me to check back with them and with some I left a message.
The next day, Stacy from Anzalone Realty called me back and made an appointment for the end of the week. She was lovely on the phone and indicated there were places available that would meet my requirements and my small budget.
During our meeting, she was just as lovely in person. She showed me four apartments that met most of my requests. Several times during our walk from place to place, she was greeted by someone she’d rented or sold to walking by. A very reassuring sign.
When we returned to the office, she took the time to answer all my questions and I left with several good choices and without any pressure to decide before I was ready.
A good real estate agent may be hard to find, but I found a great real estate agent in Stacy. Highly recommended!

We stopped by Anzalone searching for assistance in finding a one bedroom apt. in the North End. After speaking with Stacey, she mentioned she had several properties we could view, but would have to wait until the next day. Well, the next day came and since she never called or emailed, I stopped by the office again after a few viewings. I found Maria there, who offered to show me a few things later that afternoon if I came back an hour and a half later.
I think Maria did her best, but was unable to get me into any of the units — so this review is more a reflection of Stacey’s follow-​up than Maria’s. Maria told us that Stacey would be getting back to us the next day regarding the units she had mentioned originally. Well, its been almost a week and we never heard back from Stacey or anyone at Anzalone Realty. Fortunately, we found a place without their help and would never send a friend in there looking for help finding an apartment!

This review is long overdue! This past September my boyfriend and I moved from Allston to the North End. Long story short, we had seen several apartments in the Allston/​Brighton areas, and even a couple in Beacon Hill.
One day, while walking through the North End with my mom and her boyfriend, thinking I’d be doomed to the streets of Allston with a bajillion students, we popped into Anzalone Realty and met with Stacy. She was a breath of fresh air: to-​the-​point, knowledgable, friendly, and beyond helpful. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and the realty company! She was prompt with communication and honest. She listened to my needs and stuck with my budget, and ended up finding my boyfriend and I the most wonderful little apartment in the heart of the North End. We even have an amazing landlord, versus the slumlord we had in Allston. We couldn’t be happier and are looking forward to staying at least 2 years in this cozy spot.
Thank you Stacy for finding us an amazing home! I HIGHLY recommend her and Anzalone Realty, both are true standouts in the masses of realty companies!

I cannot say enough about how amazing Anzalone Realty was to me during the whole apartment-​finding process this past season. I worked with Jose – what a gentleman. He’s so kind and helpful; he somehow makes apartment hunting enjoyable. But, really, he stands out because he called me about a new listing because he knew it would be perfect for me. I had worked with other realtors in the area and, although perfectly nice, none were nearly as accommodating and attentive as Jose. Furthermore, after I had signed the lease, Jose still answered questions I had and kept me ritually updated about the old tenant moving out.
Basically, Jose is the man. And, all of the other Anzalone staff I interacted with were really great and sociable.

Boston is a city that is overrun with realtors. Think of the lower class burbs of Atlanta. Now take all of the paycheck loan locations and replace them with a realtor. Now you have Boston.
Why do I need to point out how many locations there are that will rent you an apartment? It’s because there is such a demand for them that 90% of their employees will show you places with rusted gas stoves and floors that you can stick your foot through.
On the plus side there are the other locations like Anzalone. The first time that I went in I was horribly confused. I couldn’t stop thinking to myself «Why are these people so nice?». There is a very simple answer. They are good people.
Flat out they are professional, nice, on time, have good listings and are the first people that you should do business with if you need something in the North End.
