Queer Fridays @ Guilt

What great fun!!! I visited Boston for the first time last week and on my last night there I decided to do some bar/​club hopping. After visiting a couple of spots I met some Brits that directed me to Guilt for their Queer Fridays party. Oh what fun I had, I arrived around 11:45 and although the crowd wasn’t huge the music was good. 30 minutes later the club was packed. The DJ did a great job with the mash-​ups and kept the vibe going strong. There was a $ 15 cover but since I was visiting I’m not sure if that is standard or if it was because it was Pride week in Boston, either way it was worth it. The drinks were reasonably priced and done right.
The décor is nice and the crowd was cool. I ended up dancing almost the entire time I was there (even dancing between people while heading over to the bar) and ending the night there. I am so pleased to have found this place.
The entrance looked like it was part of a movie as it was around the corner from the main street in an alley but I wasn’t bothered.

We got there around 11 and it was empty but by 1130 it was packed. Great music, great bartenders. Kind of sketchy entrance but it is okay.

I ran away from Phoenix, Arizona three years ago.
Everyone I know who didn’t get knocked up during/​right after high school got out ASAP.
I say this because one of the WORST things I can think to say about a person is that they are worse than a typical Arizonan.
Why? Well, we voted Joe Arpaio (one of the worst human beings in modern history) as sheriff a hundred years in a row… that should tell you enough. And the gay scene in Phoenix… well, I’ve traveled across the country seeking better.
That said:
Are you at Guilt? Is it queer night?
Chances are, you are worse than a typical Phoenician.
Are you a gay man without an ounce of meta-​awareness? Are you too drunk? Are you knocking over tiny lesbians because you are bigger and you can? You are worse than a typical Phoenician (jeez!).
Do you need 7 or 8 fag hags screeching over every oversexualized, elbow-​heavy, awkward white guy dance move you’re making? Then you are worse than a typical Phoenician.
Are your fag hags wearing leggings and leopard print tube tops? Are they falling on the ground, spilling their Miller Lights all over the dance floor? Are they walking you to the bathroom labeled «Women» (it’s actually unisex) so that you can puke in the trashcan in front of the dozens of people waiting in line? Than you, sir, are worse than a Phoenician.
So I don’t know if this is a review of the event or, rather, the gay scene in Boston. But either way, you are making Phoenix look good and that’s embarrassing.
Two stars because the DJ never let the beat drop.
