Although the bulk of our portfolio is located within a 10 miles radius of Metro Boston area, we also manage properties all across Eastern Massachusetts. These areas include Back Bay, South End, Beacon Hill, Fenway, Charlestown, Brookline, Brighton, Allston, Dorchester, Roxbury, Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, and Jamaica Plain. A life long resident of the Boston area; Christopher has over eight years of experience in Boston’s real estate and professional property management industry. Christopher directs the management, operations, and sales for the company and has personally managed over 1,250 condominium units in some of Boston’s most prestigious neighborhoods. His diverse portfolio has allowed him to gain a wide range of experiences pertaining to governance, financial, and physical plant management.

Premier property solutions is a COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY! They take your money but don’t do anything. They have no clue what the condo docs for their properties are. They can’t be bothered with the peons who reside in the properties. If you complain about an issue you’ll be told «it’s not their responsibility.» If you point out what the condo docs say they tell you they were changed.
IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR A CONDO MANAGEMENT COMPANY DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THEM. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!

This is as unprofessional an organization as any Association or individual could have the misfortune of having to deal with. Don’t waste your money in hiring them to manage anything if you want professional, reliable service.

I recently had an issue in a property managed by them where I had invited an airbnb guest to my place. They were enforcing the rules of the building when a fine had been levied on me. I thought they would not respond on time to address my issue. On the contrary, they are helping me resolve the issue with promptness. I hope to be on good terms with them in the future too.

They manage my building and have been very responsive to our issues. During last winter’s historic snowstorms they went above and beyond to make sure that our roadways and sidewalks were cleared. Certainly one of the better-​run property management firms around.

Well I am glad its not just me that realized this is one of the worst companies in Massachusetts. Condsending, incompetent, arrogant, rude managment. They are in actuality, petty property babysitters. I have seen better slum lords.
They charge for EVERYTHING I’ve easily spent over $ 5,000.
Have three serious leaks that are causing mold and severe water damage in my unit, nothing I can do to fix them as they are on the exterior of the building. This is their responsibility and they continue to do nothing. Was woken up by moldy water pouring from the ceiling onto my bed at 2am. The «emergency» number said they would send someone right out to address the issue. I waited up till 4am… they did not call till the following day at ten. When he did finally come It was a bullshit band aid job putting up plastic sheets to better funel the water into a bucket I already had out.
Worst part is that they had been aware of these multiple leaks for YEARS and did nothing about it. Can’t tell if its negligence, incompence, or just giving zero fucks. After reading some of these other reviews I think its the later. I hope my board votes to replace them.

How does Unilocal still have the oldest and only one of two 5 star reviews as the first for this shitty property management company? This is egregious to no end.
In any case, they switched management in the past two years and went from shitty to shittier. Now, they will charge you for anything. Oh, our main door broke your key off? Let’s charge you for it. NO. Oh, your bathroom light went off and you’re not sure if you can replace it yourself? Let’s charge you for it.
Now, these people are saying that I owe them money for last month’s and security for an apartment that they manage. How is it possible I was able to secure the apartment in the first place without a deposit and last month’s rent in Boston? You must be mistaken. If this isn’t fixed, you’ll be sure I’ll be reporting you to the BBB and taking you to court for my deposit back.

I don’t know anything about the rental side of this firm’s business, but as far as property management is concerned, Premier is — in my opinion — the absolute worst of the worst. I would like to go into detail about this firm’s almost pathological incompetence and dishonesty but unfortunately Massachusetts has a pathetically weak anti-​SLAPP statute so I am going to withhold any specific factual allegations, as these seem like the kind of people who would be likely to institute a frivolous defamation suit to silence critics.
I’m curious why the first review currently displayed is a five-​star rating from more than three years ago when there have been multiple one-​star reviews in the interim. Property management is a pretty sleazy industry but if your property is on Beacon Hill or in the Back Bay you would probably be better off dealing with Street & Co.

After month’s of failed attempts of communication with their head property manager, I am left astounded with the lack of care and responsibility displayed.
I am a real estate agent in the city and it is a nightmare to do deals with these people. Want a simple question answered? Have fun waiting 2 months for a response. Need a tenant phone number to coordinate a move in date? Yup, forget about that one too.

So usually every month my apartment building drops a rent envelope under my door. This month they did not. So I blame my complex but I also blame this establishment for making it even worse. I called and explained where I live and to confirm if I was calling the correct property management group. Instead of simply saying no, the representative assured I was calling the right place and they own my rental property. She assured me to send the check to their Boston address. Five days after sending the check, I called and not only did the representative this time tell me my property is not owned by them, she could not locate the check I sent 5 days ago. If they were more polite or competent, I would not be writing this review.

Isn’t there a 0 star option??? My advice is to run as fast as you can away from this company. They are rude, ignorant and play favorites. The property manager is seemingly unaware that she is employed by the association to manage the property… NOT the other way around. She rolls her eyes at people at the annual meetings and pretends she does not understand the people for whom English is a second language, making them repeat themselves several times. She is condescending and dismissive. She changes association rules on a whim… what is okay for one unit owner is not for another. And when called on it, DENY DENY DENY. I am so done with these people. NEVER again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They are terrible and cannot meet their commitments. As a trustee, I have also seen some shady billing practices such that you really have to be on top of them and manage them closely. Review every invoice! Call to confirm every appt. Find your own vendors for everything since they charge an exorbitant referral fee. Do everything yourself or better yet find a new management company.

If I could give zero stars, I would.seriously. I had called them so they could let me in the building cause I was locked out and there was no mention about any fees associated. They didn’t replace any locks whatsoever, just retrieved keys from the office to unlock the door. I had my own keys in my apartment. A month later unexpectedly I get a bill slapped for $ 150 for «hiring professional services» to help me with my situation. Hm I called the locksmith after the fact and he had said picking a lock to let me in a building would only cost $ 80.
Rude rude rude. Called them about settling that bill after I had spoken with the landlord about it. My landlord had agreed it was an absurd bill. Left them a voicemail and never heard from them?

I never review places, but I’ve had to make an exception for this place because the management is so incredibly incompetent. Ever since they changed names I’ve had so many issues with their employees. Right now I’ve been fighting for months to get my security deposit back. On top of that, everyone at that company is rude. I was trying to explain my situation to someone and in the middle of me talking she says, «You need to stop talking.» I was taken aback by this obviously and I told her she shouldn’t speak to customers like that. In return she says, «Well you’re not my customer.» WOW GREAT JOB representing your company. How are these people employed?
The only thing good about this place is the maintenance crew. Very responsive and nice, aside from them coming into your apartment without giving any warning.
Do yourself a favor and avoid the later headaches. Don’t rent from here!

I have to agree with most of the reviews. Some of the managers could use serious attitude adjustments. They are pretty good at responding quickly and getting things done, but one major thing that really turned me off about them was that they waited until our building suffered a severe flood to fix the problem when they had prior knowledge that there was a flood issue. They should have taken care of it then, but they were completely negligent.

They took over from our old management company and what a breath of fresh air. We live in an 11 building condo in the Fenway/​Backbay area. A couple of things happened after we switched:
1. Our condo fees went DOWN — yes, DOWN. By about $ 100/​month.
2. Our service went UP — yes UP. No more burnt out bulbs in hallways. Trash promptly removed, common areas sparkling clean.
3. Always reachable via email (I think they live on their blackberry/​iphones).
4. And when it REALLY counts — they’re there. We had a major fire a couple years ago in a building on our block and Chris from our management company worked AROUND the clock to get power restored, building cleaned out, painted, and allowed us to return to our homes within days. Other buildings weren’t as lucky.
Not sure about some of these other reviewers — they don’t seem to have written enough reviews to be legit reviewers…

They use to be called JB Property Solutions. Not much has changed other than the name. The reviews you may find under that name are pretty much the same.
I’m not sure if it is because our association is located in Salem and not Back Bay that they drop the ball so much for us, but common issues experienced with this company have been, and are not limited to:
— Ignoring requests/​emails completely without a reply.
— Not seeing projects through to completion. For example, we still have a hallway yet to be fully repaired from a pipe burst last January. Not to mention any preventative measures yet to be installed so it doesn’t happen for a 3rd year in a row under their watch.
— Being completely unfamiliar with our condo docs as well as the property itself. Once as a trustee, I remember having to basically micro-​manage THEM… the management company.
— Switching property managers on us without notice.

We’re not a big association and maybe not the most profitable client for them, however that’s not really an excuse for these issues.
I’m hoping our current trustees will finally do away with this company.
