Kung Fu Video & Dvd is a hidden gem. Quite literally. It’s tucked away above a discount jewelry store, so it’s really easy to miss. But man, I’m so glad I went in. They have a great assortment of rolling papers, some that I can’t seem to find elsewhere except for online. It saved me a ton of cash on shipping & handling that I would have had to pay for otherwise. Also the owner is THEMAN. He’s so friendly and helpful. He gave me great recommendations for some other stuff I was interested in. I can’t wait to come back :)

Most legendary Kung Fu video store of all time. Finally made my way down here after hearing about it for years, they have all your glass needs as well knives, daggers, night sticks ect. They carry of a good selection of urban magiznes, and books full of knowledge. They also support the local hip-hop scene which is a huge plus. Be back soon guys!

Kung-Fu video is clutch. I don’t know how they stay in business at all, but they know what they do and they do it well. If you find yourself requiring, say a kung-fu video, then this is the place in Boston to find it. And by kung-fu video, I don’t mean the glitzed up Jackie Chan or Jet Li movies that ACTUALLY came out in the U.S. You can find those anywhere. I mean the old school kung-fu movies, the ones you can buy in gift shops in Chinatown for $ 5 that are poorly dubbed in English but subtitled in Mandarin. I’m talking a bootlegged, and then DVD-burned version of Iron Monkey, or Top Fighters, or Crippled Masters, or Ferocious Monk from Shaolin. There are movies in this tiny, second story room that haven’t even come out yet, they’re so obscure. I feel like if I had enough time, I could actually find a magical DVD here that would teach me kung-fu. Awesome. The only reason I didn’t rate it higher is because I never know when the damn place is open, and you have to go through the Boston Discount Jewelry Exchange on Washington to get to the stair case to Kung-Fu video. Also, I’m pretty sure the owners are high all the time. I could be wrong, and they are really friendly, but I had a couple of movies I was looking for and they didn’t know if they had them. I found them on the shelf eventually, in bootleg-DVD form. Brilliant. For someone who THINKS they like kung-fu movies, but isn’t sure, this place might be a little too intense for them. This store is for the hardcore kung-fu video connoisseur, not the dabbler.
