Lily and Linda. I bought shoes, watches, betta fish, hats, gloves, tooth paste, bleach, chocolate, toilet paper, locks, socks.

wow… I mean, this place is PACKED with the craziest, most random assortment of novelty items I’ve ever seen. I was on the hunt for mini paper lanterns, which I found in abundance here… but couldn’t believe the quantity of other seemingly useless items they offered here. It was very overwhelming and completely distracting… but fun to look at for a short period of time. The one thing that really skeeved me out was the creepy old guy who was leering at us the whole time in a really bizarre getup… not sure if he was an employee or «local flavor» but he made me want to high-​tail it out of there with my lanterns ASAP… hopefully next time I pop back in to My Tan he’ll be gone…

I’ve been a huge fan of my tan fashion and their 99 cent goods for ages. In almost all aspects they are a perfect example of what I look for in a dollar store. Plenty of cheap low quality products, packaged in the bare minimum of packaging. Will parts be missing? Will your entire electrical system short out if you plug one of their cables into your wall outlet?
Don’t be a wuss, stop by, buy something and live life on the edge!
