Cynthia was great! She was able to schedule an appointment quickly, which I needed. She was wonderful with my kittens! She was fast– took her less than 5 minutes to do 2 (admittedly cooperative) kittens, and one has extra toes! She was very nice, and she brought her own assistant. I highly recommend her.

I have been using Cynthia for many years now. She is fabulous! She comes to my house on time every time. She is very nice and professional. My cat has very long fur and Cynthia does a great job getting my cat’s fur back to normal. She cleans him, trims his nails. I can’t say enough nice things about her and her service. You will not be disappointed!

Loved loved loved Cynthia and her assitant. My mothers Siamese cat is borderline dangerous. Very very violent to deal with. We called for nail clipping. It took them maybe 10 mins to clip his nails, it could not ever had been done easier or quicker. No has ever been able to handle this cat. She also did my two kitties nails also. VERY highly recommend them. Will definitely be using them again.

Cynthia is wonderful! I am so lucky to have met her. I have a full time pet sitting business and many of my clients have asked me for in home cat grooming and I knew of no one. I
saw a few mobile groomers listed online, but none of them groomed cats. And then I found
House Call Cat Grooming just in time as my own cat Sunny needed a lion cut for the summer.
Cynthia and her daughter came all the way to Somerville in rush hour traffic to groom Sunny. They were incredibly professional, kind and patient with my normally laid back cat Sunny who as soon as he saw the clippers started to freak out. Cynthia was so kind and patient with me, a very worried cat Mom as my poor Sunny who was hitting the roof at the sight and sound of the clippers. Cynthia has also been a Vet Tech so his bad behavior didn’t phase her one bit and her daughter was also as calm as could be. I decided it wasn’t worth stressing out poor Sunny for a shorter hair do and Cynthia was beyond understanding.
I was so embarrassed but she made me feel so at ease and that whatever decision I made for my boy was fine with her. She is a true gem. I would highly recommend Cynthia for any kitty grooming services you need. And to have her come to your home is truly an amazing service!

Cynthia came today to groom my little Siberian cat who has fur as fluffy as cotton candy and who mats really easily. She is a great communicator, arrived on time with her young assistant, and went straight to work. Both of my cats are unbearably stressed by travel so the idea of someone coming to the house is fantastic.
I am so happy that my cat is mat free and recovered from the event pretty quickly.

Cynthia Goodridge of House Call Cat Grooming is the original cat whisperer. Our vet recommended Cynthia for our long-​haired Maine Coon, who was having trouble with his fur matting but also is agoraphobic, so we could not take him out of the house without him being terrified. Our second cat, an American Shorthair, needed her nails trimmed, but we had a hard time doing it ourselves because she’s so feisty. What a blessing it was to find Cynthia! When she came to our place the first time, we explained in great detail how fearful the Maine Coon was and how hard to manage the American Shorthair was. Cynthia kindly listened to all our worries, then showed us we really had nothing to worry about with her on the job and capably handled both cats with great skill and care. Cynthia masterfully set the fearful one at ease for the fur trimming and compassionately quelled the feistiness in the other one to trim her nails. Cynthia’s deep knowledge of cats and many years of experience, make her a true master of her craft. We could not have found a more gifted cat groomer to take care of our furry felines!

Cynthia has been grooming my cats for ten years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. The fact that she comes to our home is a huge plus because bringing the cats to a groomer can be very stressful for them (and for me!). She came highly recommended by our vet who she used to work with as a vet tech. She has always done a fantastic job and her rates are very reasonable. I love long haired cats and she’s always been very gentle with combing out mats, shaving, clipping their nails, etc. She is a highly competent, professional and all around lovely woman and I don’t know what we’d do without her.

Cynthia and her assistant are excellent and I highly recommend them. I booked an appointment with Cynthia, because she is recommended by South Bay Veterinary Group. Cynthia responded quickly to my phone call, booked an appointment at my convenience, and arrived on time with her assistant for the grooming. During the appointment, Cynthia worked gently with my two cats — both needed their nails trimmed, which I am unable to do on my own. Within fifteen minutes, she was finished with both cats. Her rate is very reasonable. I look forward to many future appointments with her.

Cynthia is a real find! There are few enough cat groomers who make home visits, so right away she’s a huge find.
Add to that she’s very knowledgeable. Having been a vet assistant, she brings an expertise and solid observations about our cats.
Cynthia is very strong and moves with confidence and care. She can be «all business» but that’s fine with me because I trust her skills and the way she moves through the grooming process.
I simply wouldn’t use anyone else. Period. Trust is tops on my list when evaluating anyone working with my pets and she’s the best.
