4.5 stars for a personalized experience! It may be tough to get an appointment here but the dentist is a very nice man and doesn’t just do his daily duties but gets to know the patient which I appreciated. He talked through everything he was doing. I recommend this place to everyone who needs a dentist! I usually do my dental care elsewhere but needed a dentist to fill a cavity which this dentist did well. I would switch here if I didn’t already have a dentist I’m also satisfied with.

I used to go here as the location is very convenient to where I live. After a few visits, I decided to switch dentists and I am glad that I did. As one of the earlier reviews mentioned, there is a lot of turnover at this office and with each visit I had a different person clean and exam my teeth. That’s fine but my evaluations by the dentists here were wildly inconsistent. My last dentist here (who had never seen me) looked at my chart and basically disagreed across the board with the examination from my previous dentist here. All in all, it made me very uncomfortable that these were the dentists who were looking at my teeth. I decided to get an evaluated at another dental office and decided to switch to them.
There were some other issues. For instance, I thought some of the staff lacked professionalism (one of the people while cleaning my teeth complained to his colleague about why UPS won’t deliver a shirt he ordered when he was away) and a small billing dispute which was readily rectified but its incident in the first place was borderline egregious. Although there are definitely some friendly people who work at this office, in the end, I never felt comfortable going here.

A very pleasant experience at the dentist. Dr. Rodriguez is a calm, personable guy who explains your dental care in everyday terms. I’ve never understood so much after seeing a dental professional. His staff is just as great, and equally as pleasant to chat with while they get your x-​rays ready or set up their tools.
They are also Spanish-​friendly, which doesn’t really apply to me, but I think is pretty cool.

There’s a level of trust that has to exist between a man and his dentist. This particular practice has lost my trust — by not informing me of a $ 162, non-​insured consultation fee for a 10-​minute visit. The visit, of course, turned out to be entirely an attempt to upsell me to preventative surgery.
Dr. Rodriguez was present when I brought up my surprise at the front desk. No effort was made to address this, except a dismissive «Well Maria usually tells people about the fee, so…» Fluke? Maybe. But tough to forget after leaving such a bad taste in my mouth.
Friendliest people in the world. Beautiful office. Been going there for 2+ years. No longer. At least I have a snazzy, laminated surgery pamphlet to show for it.

I have been going here for 4+ years and every time I go, the service is AWESOME! The staff is very friendly and helpful and they are all great at making you feel comfortable and relaxed. I moved to a different company but still make the trip in town to see them! Great service, cool environment and AMAZING staff!

After spending a FORTUNE at my former dentist on Newbury Street, I could not be happier to have found Boston Teeth. They are warm, professional, and they don’t press for unnecessary procedures, which I was suspect of the Newbury folks for doing.
Finally left a dental appointment _​not_​feeling crappy or traumatized.
Highly recommended.

I really like Dr. Rodriguez and Boston Teeth Associates. They’re really friendly and helpful and don’t have that judgmental air about them that a lot of dentists have. The only issue I have on a regular basis, is they are impossible to get a hold of. They never answer their phone and you always always have to leave a message, which I find to be extremely frustrating, especially when it’s a time sensitive matter. They could easily get 5 stars from me, if they just drastically improved their communication methods.

This has been my dentist for two years now, and it was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. Furthermore, it was covered by my insurance. Double bonus.
While it is in a very convenient location (right next o Parish Café on Boylston Street), and relatively friendly people working there, they have a good amount of turnover (I have a new person cleaning my teeth every 6 months I go in there), they do a mediocre cleaning (I didn’t even get flossed last time), and their customer service is far from great.
Lastly, their hours are really awful. 9am to 5pm. If you can’t get off of work, or you can’t get there on your lunch break, you are SOL. Also, if you have a 5pm appointment, they call you about 3 times to remind you of the appointment and ensure that you are not going to cancel. I think this is because if their 5pm appointment doesn’t show, they get to go home early.
If you want a dentist with reasonable customer service, better hours and better quality, I would recommend to find a different dentist.

Nice People. They gave me some great advice and plenty of attention in the 45 minutes I was there for my cleaning and xrays. Good stuff in and out in less than an hour! I will definitely go back there for future cleanings and its right near work, back bay.

Cavity free, that’s me!
I found this dentist’s office through my insurance company’s website, because I needed a new dentist, and my insurance is picky about who I can and can’t see. I called about an appointment, and they set up one up promptly for the following week.
I went in and it’s a cute little practice, and it seems to be primarily a Brazilian/​Hispanic run business, so a definitely plus for Spanish speaking peeps. The hygienist, Alex, was very nice and chatty without being annoying. The cleaning service was the typical not so comfortable experience, but it wasn’t too bad, for the fact that I hadn’t had a cleaning in four years. WHOOPS. Start to finish, it did take less than an hour, so it was a good experience.
*Update two days after my visit*
I am upgrading to five stars for the nice little card I received welcoming me as a patient. It’s the little things that make a girl feel welcome and not as uncomfortable about going to the dentist.
