Amanda’s Flowers

This shop is small and has few choices for flowers but all in all I was able pick out a decent bouquet for my daughters graduation. The service was nice and the flowers were wrapped very well. This was a last minute purchase and I like to patronize local Brighton businesses so I popped in here and had a pleasant experience. I would’ve liked to see more choices but the space is rather small and they made the most of it I guess.

I did not like this place at all, i purchased a bouquet of roses that to be honest looked nice and i was happy with them. I asked how much they were and i was told $ 25, i was cool with it so i paid and the clerk tells me that she doesn’t have any receipt paper left, not thinking anything of it i said its fine and went on my way. Later that day i check my bank account and to my shock and utter disbelief i find that there is $ 50 taken out!!!
I called them and they told me that was the price that they had given me, then i emailed the manager and she basically told me she couldn’t do anything about it, so now here is the review you deserve.
Then a few months ago I get a weird email from the owner telling me she is in south america and got robbed at gunpoint and all she has left is her life and passport. Then she asks for anything i can do to help her, in other words send her money, weirdest request ever, needless to say i didn’t respond to it.
A lot of other places have much better deals on flowers and they are equally beautiful.

They went out of their way to create the most amazing arrangement for me. They even were able to create «blue» tulips from white tulips. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants great customer service, quality flowers, and reasonable prices.
