Got there after searching for this place in Amsterdam Walk. There are really no signs, but if you take a right past Loca Luna and go all the way to the end, you will find the address 502. There is a sign that says parking is in the back, but I think you can still use the front door. I bought a deal from Half Off Depot and I had a 10:30 appointment that I made online through their website. When I got there, my tech was already working on someone else’s nails so I let her know I was there for my appointment, but it didn’t look like I was getting in any time soon. The suite is a little tiny box, so don’t expect a full spa. I went to sit in the waiting area and starting reading the bad Unilocal and then I hightailed it outta there at 10:40! Thanks Unilocal.That will just be $ 20 down the drain but I’ve wasted money on other things too. To be fair I’ll give this place 2 stars…

I too bought the living social deal to the polish suite. This place is a disaster. Impossible to find, tiny, dark, and smelly. The nail technician could not have been nicer but she did a terrible job! I literally could have done better myself. I do not blame her entirely, however, is it was so dark in there I really don’t know how she could see what she was doing. And on top of that she had to do my pedicure with my foot in her lap. Not cool. Had I not wanted to get out of there asap I definitely would have asked for a re-do. On top of all that they apparently charge $ 50 for this service normally. Um, whhhhhat? I don’t think so. Do NOT go to this place. Ever.

There is so MUCH wrong with this place I don’t even know where to begin! I purchased a Half Off Depot voucher on the 28th, so of course these reviews were not published at that time. Yesterday I went searching for their number again and came back to Unilocal and lo’ and behold these awful reviews! I was more than upset! So me not wanting to waste the $ 20 I spent on the voucher, I made an appointment through their online website yesterday so I could just get it over with. Before I went I called to ask about how they remove the gel polish and I believe I spoke to the owner. Her telephone demeanor was VERYABRASIVE… not likable at all! Oh well! Needless to say, I had a real bad attitude when I got there. After reading the reviews I instructed the nail tech not to cut ANYTHING. After she finished my pedicure I remembered her as a nail tech at a different place where I got a mani/pedi. She did a great job at that other place, so I felt better after I realized I had a good experience with her before. But this place is very cramped and she wasn’t able to do as good of a job as she did before. There were two nail stations but there should have been only one. She could barely get to my feet and had to do the pedicure basically in her lap. The polish from my mani was chipping already this morning, so I removed it! The place is in a suite of very small salons… the concept sucks to me. I was able to see into other suites and they mostly were one station hair shops. It was difficult to find the suite because although there is a directory in the front, there aren’t any numbers or names on the doors(I should’ve taken a picture)! It may be better suited for hair stylists’ stations! I searched for business today on the GA Secretary of State website and got nothing! OMG!!! I have NEVER written a review this long!!!

If there was an option for«0» stars, I would select it. Very unprofessional and poorly ran business. I received an email thanking me for coming in when my appointment was scheduled for a month away! When I tried three times over 2 weeks to confirm an appointment I made, Dee got rude with me and told me they don’t confirm appointments over email. Really? Get over yourself chick, this is 2011. I notice the only positive review on here is from the owner herself, way to go Unilocal!

This place is horrible. After scheduling me for a day they weren’t open(I had to wait over a week to get in) they called twice to reschedule. Apparently they don’t communicate with each other. The«suite» is about the size of a bathroom in a studio apartment in New York. There was no sign. She had no shop phone. Unfortunately I did not discover until after I was done that there was no license posted. The website was better than the place and service. The place is messy and unsanitary. My foot bath at home was better than what they had. If you can’t touch your toes, don’t go here because they literally brought your leg, extended on their lap. The place is too cramped. I sat with my shoulder in the sink and when she emptied the foot bath, water splashed on me: from someone else’s «pedicure». If I’d not known the other customer, I would have been uncomfortable because we were shoulder to shoulder. My nails were cut beyond the skin, my cuticles were cut too far back. I only continued because the lady doing mine was nice. I’ve never had a salon use nail clippers on me. She did however, appear inexperienced. The owner/manager was coughing the entire time. She said she«hopes» she doesn’t cough on anyone. She was on the phone the entire time and was not appropriately dressed. She left during the middle of a customer’s manicure(she was doing it) to go to the bank. Came back with food that she ate sitting in front of me on the manicure table. Then when the customer needed $ 13 in change, she didn’t have any. Finally, she yelled at me because I let a cuss word slip and said she was going to lock me out. They also did not have a credit card machine. The basic ones are $ 100-$ 200, come on. Despite having 2 more vouchers left I’m not going back. Prices were also exorbitant. Walmart does a better job. Goodbye money. Addition: 4 hours after my service, I receive a call that I was charged less than what I should have been. When I indicated that I was not aware of that and did not feel comfortable giving my card info out over the phone, the owner demanded that I return by tomorrow to pay and began yelling at me. When I politely asked her to let me finish, she screamed at me and hung up. I called her back, which she did not answer and left a message politely explaining her mistake. I’d already paid for 2 future mani/pedis which I was not going back to redeem because of the poor service. I am now positive that I will never return to that place.
