Need to Bead is a new concept on the traditional bead shop.

Yes we have beads, lots of them in fact, but our goal is to utilize

our in-​store teaching space for an open, friendly environment,

for artistic collaboration to make beautiful things. We have a full

range of tools and supplies available for your use to complete

your works of art. At present we have space for twelve people

to work on the main floor of the store with an attached, enclosed

kiddie room for children to play while you are

creating.

History

Established in 2006.

Need To Bead was born out of the idea that we could provide a welcoming, friendly place for both those new to the art of beading and experienced beaders could come for both supplies and inspiration. We have seating for up to 16 people in the store, so grab a cup of coffee, bring your ideas and come spend a couple of hours with us learning to create something beautiful. No experience? We don’t care. Our staff love what they do so they will help you make your visions come to life. Tons of experience? Great! Come check out our selection and share your knowledge!

Sabra has been addicted to beads since she was 13 years old and picked up some seed beads and a loom for the first time. That love has grown to include semi-​precious stones, pearls and crystals. Being an anthropologist, Sabra also keeps an eye out for unique and hard to find beads from all over the world. You won’t find just run-​of-​the-​mill beads in her store collection!
