Mixed Greens is a Boise retail gift boutique offering modern gifts for everyone. We feature work from artisans in our local & regional area as well as a variety of our favorite gift vendors. We also hand make a number of products found in the store ourselves. We carry jewelry, bath products, cards, women’s accessories, home and garden goods, fine paper, journals & lots of other great items as well.

Our philosophy is to carry items that we would buy for gifts or that we would enjoy receiving ourselves, with a strong focus on products made locally. And our main goal is to make shopping fun in a relaxed atmosphere, while giving our customers an experience that is unique to Boise.

We like to mix it up & our inventory is constantly changing… you’re likely to find something new & different every time you stop in!

We offer free giftwrap as a courtesy and convenience for our customers, and so people can enjoy the opening almost as much as the gift itself.

History

Established in 2013.

Like most good business stories, this one starts in a garage. Mixed Greens started about 10 years ago as a creative outlet for owner Molly Gray. She dabbled in making a little bit of everything (Mixed) and always tried to use natural components in making her products (Greens).

Over the years, she has sold her products at farmer’s markets, artist co-​ops, online, retail stores like Whole Foods, and of course, out of the garage. The first Mixed Greens brick and mortar store came to fruition in February of 2013.

Mixed Greens is owned by the dynamic duo of Chris and Molly Gray. They met (and dated) in Boise Idaho when they were in junior high school, reconnected after college, and have now been happily married for many, many years.

Business is always taken seriously, but always takes a backseat to family. With a growing business, 2 great kids, and a funny little dog, time is scarce. But they always find time to enjoy themselves, their friends and family, and the increasing hipness of Boise and the surrounding area.
