I couldn’t possibly say enough good things about this place. The selection is ENORMOUS — wine, beer, cider, you name it. They have it. They have description tags for every single bottle of everything they have, which is so helpful to determine prior to tasting it as to whether or not I’ll like what I’m buying. They also have a make your own 6-​pack for bottles of beer and cider, which is a lot of fun for people like me who are curious about different beers and ciders. Whenever I’ve gone, the staff have all been helpful and friendly. I was looking for a good bottle of wine to bring to the host of a party I was attending, and a staff member went out of her way to help me find the best bottle for my price range. The host of the party loved it! I feel like a kid in a candy store in this place — I highly recommend it if you live in the area.

Total Wine is my go to liquor store. It’s conveniently located between my work and home so it’s always easy for me to stop when I need to fill up the bar at home (or to get ready for the weekend lol). They have such a large selection of wines, beers and pretty much any other type of alcohol you can think of and the prices are lower than any other liquor store.
They also have all of the mixers like, sodas, sour mix, grenadine, bitters etc. that you may need to go with your drinks so you have everything all in one place. I also like how they have glasses, bottle openers, coozies, gifts sets and pretty much EVERYTHING you may need. They even have snacks and candy’s so its a one stop shop for any party.
Their staff is always really helpful and knowledgeable and willing to ask you if you need any help finding anything. They always take me to the item I am looking for rather than telling me where to go so I don’t have to continue to search for it. I also like the employee picks they post on the bottles to give me some ideas on what’s good to try if I am looking for something new.

This place really is as good as their advertisements say they are. The inventory is huge which is was what i expected but the prices are incredibly cheap. Cases of beer sell for less than $ 20 all the time, the liquor prices are a few dollars less than small stores. The staff is very friendly without being real pushy at the same time

Best selection of wines and liquors. I have often found some great rare whiskeys here. No price gouging either, great prices and great staff. There’s always something to taste test when you’re there too!

The biggest selection of booze, wine, beer I’ve ever seen. It never gets old. Get ready to drop some coin if you like to drink. It’s awesomeness at its finest!

Huge selection of wines and liquor. The staff are very helpful and friendly as well. They have tastings of new alcohol on certain days in front of the store.

I typically love Total Wine, but this store has some more interesting folks that work at it then any of the other ones I’ve previously visited.
Total Wine is the mecca of all things Boozey… and by Boozey I mean your wish is it’s command. The crowd here is definitely older, the parking lot is considerably busier, and the staff is definitely more curt (maybe due to all the snowbirds that have recently flocked to Boca Raton).
I ordered online and it didn’t go very well. I thought it was a great solution to my problem of having to deal with the store during Thanksgiving week, I was considerably mistaken… sadly. I was supposed to get an email when my order was ready for pickup within 24 hours of ordering, I didn’t. I called the next day about 36 hours later and was on hold so long, the guy forgot about me and what I was holding for, picked up the phone, and told me to hold some more… I subsequently hung up the phone.
I finally went into the store 2 business days later, much to my chagrin, only to be greeted by the ‘manager’ who asked me if my order was ready… WTF? Well that’s kind of his job and my attempts fell flat. After what seemed like an eternity, he found my order, it ’twas ready, and after double checking it I was able to depart.
So will I go back — YES. Will I order online again from this store-​NO. Would I prefer another location over this one-​YES.

Move over Disney World, this is the new happiest place on earth. How could I make an assertion like that? Simple, because they literally have anything you could possibly want that is related to alcohol. My cousins Macallan and Montecristo are there. So are my siblings Stella and Harp. Not to mention their champagne and wine selection. Hell I even stock up on Acqua Panna water while I’m here. Yeah as asinine as that sounds I buy water in a booze superstore.
The people that work here have been friendly and helpful.
I like the fact that for some items they’ll give a history, flavor profile as well as awards the brand has won. For you white wine drinkers they have an electric wine chiller by checkout that you can use if you’re in a rush.
Total Wine accomplishes all of the above and then some. They manage to still have the cheapest prices around.
In conclusion no I’m not an alcoholic and this joint takes the throne as the happiest place on earth.

If I didn’t fall asleep every time I had more than one drink, I’d be gleefully sprinting through the premises and loading up a cart.
I came here looking for something specific after several stores I went to didn’t have it. I’m not much of a drinker, but when I do drink, I like things on the sweeter side. I had a coupon for FishEye wines (from Australia), and decided to use it and pick up wine for a dinner party. Publix only had 3 – 4 varieties, and none of them were what I wanted. I tried a few liquor stores as well to no avail. I finally found this place on a lazy weekday afternoon, and they had multiple varieties of the brand I sought. So I got my 3L of moscato, and it was even a couple bucks cheaper than Publix as well. Call me a happy camper :)

I do love this place… the prices and selection can’t be beat.
An example of the prices: My mom and I are champagne drinkers, and we happen to both enjoy Korbel. I realize it’s not the Cadillac of sparkling wines, but it’s got a great taste at a great price. Usually it hovers between $ 12 to $ 15 at Publix or Walgreens unless they have a sale. But here, its everyday price is $ 9.97. I’ve never seen Korbel priced lower than that, sale or no sale.
As far as selection goes, it’s hard to imagine this place NOT having something you’re looking for unless it’s seasonal. My mom has been talking about this one German Riesling, called Bernkasteler Doktor, that she had over 30 years ago, and she’d never been able to find it since. I’ve heard about this wine for so many years, so finally I took her here to see if we’d have any luck finding it. Sure enough, there it was… and to prove to you that we don’t always have super cheap taste in wine, this bottle was nearly $ 70. Haven’t opened it yet to try it, but she’s thrilled nonetheless to have found it after all this time.
So why four stars instead of five? I find the managers here to be a bit rude. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the managers have irked me on two different occasions. The first time (a couple of months ago), I had brought in a coupon that was good for two free bottles of Veev organic spirits which I won on facebook, and their website instructed coupon holders to visit Total Wine to redeem the coupons. I got to the checkout, and the cashier didn’t know what to do with the coupon, so she called for a manager. He came over and told me they don’t take coupons. It was a manufacturer’s coupon, and I explained to them how Veev’s own website tells people to visit Total Wine to redeem them. After arguing with me for at least five minutes (the poor people behind me in line hated me, I’m sure), the manager finally acted exasperated and relented, as if he was doing me a huge favor. Mind you, I was respectful the whole time, but stood my ground. Yeah, I got my free bottles like I was supposed to, but only because I refused to take no for an answer. After all, I had driven well out of my way just to redeem that coupon. That being said, I bought an additional $ 60 worth of alcohol while there, so I wasn’t just trying to get free stuff and leave, although I was well within my right to do so.
The second, more recent visit, I came in search of the Harpoon UFO Big Squeeze Shandy that I had tried for the first time at Unilocal’s Burstday party. They told me they were sold out, so I sadly perused the store and happened upon a multi-​pack case of Harpoon that contained Big Squeeze along with UFO White, Summer Beer and IPA. Figuring this was the only way I’d be able to get it, I picked up the case. I noticed its «best before» date was two weeks prior, and mentioned it at checkout. I asked if they could either do a bit of a discount given it was past its date, or just let me buy the Big Squeeze bottles inside. A manager came over and said they «absolutely do not give discounts.» His only offer was to pull all of the multi-​pack cases from the floor so they wouldn’t be sold. Yes, because that’s totally helpful. Even the cashier understood my point of view, and asked him if I could just buy the Big Squeeze bottles. He said no. Yet again, I did not concede defeat and just stood silently. Finally he said, «I gave you a discount,» and quickly walked away, but not before telling one of the nearby staff to remove all of the other cases from the floor.
Sure, in both cases, I got what I wanted, but I just feel like the managers on duty could’ve been nicer about it. I felt like I was being treated like I was a nuisance. Perhaps in this more recent case, I admit I didn’t have much of a leg to stand on, but on both occasions I didn’t really feel valued as a customer. In both instances, I was buying other things beside the items in question, and I made a point to be nice and not rude. I can’t say the managers here tried to do the same.
All that being said, their prices and selection will keep me coming back… I just hope I don’t have to talk to a manager if I can help it.

Total Wine. Wow. This place is HUGE and has just about any kind of alcohol that you are looking for. I swear, if they don’t have it here, where else in South Florida do think you are going to find it?!
I’ve had good experiences with the staff here — always willing to help you out and find what you are looking for. From time to time, they have tastings (e.g., I tried Captain Morgan’s new white rum here!) The prices are actually very competitive. In fact, from what I can tell, they are pretty good compared to Costco’s liquor store.

Wow is all I can say. I am not a big box kinda guy when it comes to liquor stores. I prefer the little guy liquor store owner that says hello and knows my name. However, I was looking for a summer beer to take to the beach, I have looked in my local liquor store and their selection is not grand. He recommended I visit a total wine.
Well, this place is like a Walmart of booze. All booze. Their beer selection was insane. You need a half a day just to look at their inventory. From local brewed stuff to imported beers. Their liquor selection was pretty impressive also. The prices were good and I might hit this place back when I am in the mood for specialty beers.
Total Wine, I am a fan…

This is a wine/​beer/​liquor superstore. They carry just about all brands, and if there is something specific you want and they don’t have it in stock, they will order if their distributor has it.
The staff is helpful and knowledgeable and easily found in the aisles, or at the customer service counter located near entrance. Their everyday prices are very good and you should subscribe to their emails for occasional coupons for discounts, primarily on wines.
Parking is readily available, staff offer help bringing your bounty to your vehicle.
While I still buy wine at Costco or when heavily discounted at Whole Foods (which happens more than you might expect), Total Wine cannot be best for the breadth of their inventory.

This is a review of the Boca Raton, Florida location.
The selection is incredible. The prices are indeed pricey. I didn’t have much interaction with the staff because I was too busy drooling over the selection. Another reviewer noted that there are locations in California. I was only able to find 2 locations in Northern California. I go to BevMo for my needs and I must say that Total Wine & More has a better selection but I don’t have access to the store based on where I live.
I bought several of the mini bar bottles since I was staying in a hotel. I enjoyed the Cake & Whipped Cream Vodkas the best.
I recommend this store but it can easily overwhelm you.

I typically hit this place up whenever the family meets up in Boca Raton. I love drifting up and down the aisles looking for something that stands out.
I love different types of beers, with German beers number one on my list. I like lagers, but I’m also comfortable with ales as well. You can either select your beer of choice from the fridges in the very back, or you can meander down the furthest aisle, and you’ll see that beers are actually organized by country. I love that. Plus, they have a lot of craft beers as well. There’s no reason to go anywhere else.
With respect to wine, this place makes it easy to select the correct type of wine based on the type of meal you’re eating. For instance, we knew we were doing a Honeybaked ham for our Christmas Eve dinner, and so I picked out three bottles of wine (two red and one white).
This place has all different types of hard liquor to satisfy any type of preference. We have folks in the family who are former bartenders and mix-​ologists, so this is the place to go for that, too.

My favorite liquor store. Who wouldn’t love a liquor store with carts! Total Wine has a huge selection of wine, liquor, and beer (build your own six pack!). When I first moved to Florida and was missing the my favorite Hazlitt wines from the Finger Lakes I found them in Total Wine. They also have my favorite wine of all time, Dachshund Riesling (this may be a favorite mostly for the bottle). They also have a variety of mixers, a few snacks, and quite a few liquor related accessories.
The staff here is always very helpful and knowledgeable and there is almost always a free sample of something or other in case you need a boost as you’re lost in liquor land. Prices are good, lower than smaller liquor stores.
A slight downside of this location is that parking can be a little bit of a pain… the lot seems large enough, but somehow I always end up parking at the McDonalds and walking over… but I think we all need to walk a little more.

Best selection, best prices and fully informed friendly staff spells 5stars or more if they were available. If U are a single malt afficionado… Total is the place to be.

Total Wine is a chain of liquor stores that stretches all up the east coast as well as California and the southwest. For this review, I’ll be talking about the Boca Raton location.
I would first say the best thing about visiting Total Wine is the how high the ceilings are designed and how massive the shelves are. It’s like going to a theme-​park for booze. Most of the time staff is handing out free wine and liquor tastings. The aisles are wide and give an epic experience as you eyes glaze over each kind of cognac, merlot, or craft brew. There’s plenty of selection in all categories of spirits and brews. The wine selection is a large part of the store but I cannot say for the strength of the section. I’m no wine expert and trust me, few are.
The store is always very clean and well stocked and plenty of staff at the register, but it’s not easy to find someone to is knowledgeable about craft beer/​wine, which I would find important in a big store. Most of the staff is located up front at the registers or scudding around stocking shelves.
For selection, you can’t beat it. The prices are somewhat high, so if your just looking for a decent craft brew, domestic, or an affordable liquor, don’t come here. There are plenty of liquor stores in the area with better prices and without being nearly as crowded.

I really like that they have wine tasting on some days so that someone like me who is still trying to like wine can taste differernt wines. They have a huge selection of any kind of alcoholic beverage you can think of. I saw a bottle of chocolate wine with a picture of a cow. I love cows so i bought one but it wasn’t good. It was like drinking a thick syrupy alcoholic chocolate milk. They even have Hello Kitty wines! I’ll buy anything if i like the packaging. I’m such a sucker. Anyways, We must have bought a few dozen bottles of wine this thanksgiving weekend.
I gotta say, Wine + Scrabble = Fun Fun Fun!
