The Barrier Reef

They are amazing at what they do. I have been to this store every 3 days for about 2 months now. Every person that works there knows their stuff. I just started a new reef tank in my home and they have been super helpful. The owner has been doing this for about 50 years and knows the ins and outs of everything. The store is beautifully stocked and there is different product everyday.
I’m so glad I found this place and I honestly wouldn’t even look to find another spot. I’m not goona lie you have to be a little patient because sometimes they do get busy. The great thing is they don’t rush while helping customers and explain everything in great detail. Definitely try them out if you are looking to get into aquariums and you won’t be disappointed!

Love this store. Staff is super nice and always helpful. They are super knowledgable on each type of fish. They always give us the best advice on what type of fish to group together. Store has a grate pond in the middle that’s nice to look at. When we need a fish we go here!

tiniest frag collection in the world, RUDE unhelpful staff. Go to Marks ark in lake worth. Everytime I come here I have a issue.

Five star aquarium with incredible pricing! Very reasonable, especially for Boca. I’m including a picture of a small freshwater tank purchased at BR in my review.
They have a great assortment of coral, freshwater fish, saltwater fish, salt and freshwater plants, tank supplies, tanks, and more. Everything at a low price.

Nice shop, people are friendly but it is never adequately staffed. If you’re not willing to wait around an infuriatingly long time, don’t come in here.

Everyone there is very nice. They do get busy, but really you shouldn’t be rushing in and outa there if you want your tank to be perfect anyway. I started a 55gal tank 2 months ago and setting up and getting the water right has been flawless with their guidance.
Have a bunch of live rock and lined the bottom with live sand in there now. Got two clownfish and ready for corals and maybe 1 other fish this weekend. Woohoo… :) Their new website is awesome too

Love this place. I go there all the time. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. They test your water in store and have such a wide variety of fresh and saltwater fish, corals, and tanks. I have been so many places and have been given bad info when it comes to caring for our tanks, I really trust that these guys know their stuff. They haven’t steered us wrong.

I’ve gone to this fishstore for over 20 years and have been in the saltwater aquarium industry and business for over 10 years. This place is so good but does have several major flaws. For example, when it is busy you can expect to wait sometimes over a hour just to a few gallons of water. Also I would say most of the staff are wonderful, kind, personable, and friendly staff except for one or two apples such as elderly man with white/​grayish hair who has a attitude every time I speak with him or acts as if he is in rush or just has no people skills and is always condescending. The prices at the store can be high but sometimes they do a holiday sale and it is terrific. I would recommend that this place does a SWOT analysis as well as a Risk Analysis and Assessment to better itself. Don’t bother bringing corals or fish here they are not interested (even if you purchased it from them and the fish/​coral quadrupled in size). Sell your fish and corals on eBay, Craigslist, or any online fish/​coral website.

This is hands down the best fish store in the area.

Went in here the other day with essentially no clue what i wanted or knowledge of aquariums. Nice young guy with short blond hair helped me out, in 25 minutes i was leaving with everything i needed to get a 20 gallon fresh water tank setup. I didn’t want to spend to much money and i didn’t, he gave me all the options and helped me weigh the pros and cons. He wasn’t push, was patient and was very knowledgeable. I am really happy I bought my setup from that store, I went online later and found similar 20 gallon kits for a lot more money… so I feel like I got a deal. I will be returning soon to stock the tank with fish.

Whether you like saltwater or freshwater tanks, this place is great. I have been coming in here for over a year and the staff is amazing and will walk you through all the steps to get a fresh or saltwater tank going.
I have a micro reef tank and they are always there for me with the right answer when I find myself in a dilemma. Also, they are extremely knowledgeable on the cohabitation of the million choices of fish, inverts, coral, and more that they offer at the store.
Having a saltwater tank is a tedious hobby, and I have to thank them for a large part of my success! They know my name and treat me like family (they have the local business vibe that makes you feel really welcomed)! If you need anything I recommend them 100%!

Really nice store. Only flaw is no one never comes and helps you. You must find somebody every time
