Nick and I came here for drinks after long hours of shopping in Babies ‘R’ Us and realizing kids are A LOT of work and maybe not for us — so clearly we needed alcohol. Smokey Bones is alright… It seems like the typical TGIF or Chilli’s. Pretty standard. However it seems like a clean and nice place all around. Very casual and the employees seem very friendly.

Hour and a half for a burger that was a wet mess. Waitrress admitted she forgot to put in the order and never did a manager bother to come over when requested. Then CHARGED full price. Sad meal.

It’s always nice to come here for a good meal. Everything is always as expected. Appetizers are filling. Food doesn’t take too long, beer is always super cold. Very laid back environment. Great environment for a chill lunch or dinner date.

I love this place on Sunday’s! Ashely(I call her my Gwyneth) & Maria are amazing! They always take care of us and treat my friends and I like family! It’s the perfect place to come after working 10 hours to have some food and an adult beverage because they make the end of the night so pleasant! I love these ladies! Maria really has her girls on point! Love it here!

Went here for the first time after lots of recommendations from friends. This place lived up to the hype. I sat at the bar and service was great. My cup never went empty. Food came out in a very timely manor, and was very delicious. I totally recommend everyone checking this place out.

This place is F’ing ridiculous!!! Food was disgusting. Every three or for months we try this place again and it’s the same poor food poor service etc… those $ 10 coupons get us. No more, for now on those coupons go in the garbage. This place should close and allow Longhorns or Texas Roadhouse to move in with real food, service and chefs.

I would give a zero star if I could. I ordered a combo of chicken and pulled pork with broccoli and sweet potatoe fries. First the food was cold and warm at best. The fries were so dry and thin that they were like eating shoe laces. The Brocolli I literally watched the cook put in the microwave right before pouring them onto my plate. The chicken was ok but not great. Overall I feel like everything has changed here. I used to go to the one in plantation and had good experiences but the food items have changed all together. Don’t go here

3.5 stars! I live down the road and I’m a fan of their late-night hours for pickup when I have to have a late dinner. Their brisket is pretty good but they only have that till 10:30PM. I usually get the brisket when I can, along with the smoked turkey and baked beans! Not gourmet, but satisfying barbecue! Originally marked this as 3 stars, but rounding up since the customer service here has been top notch every single time!

Ate dinner here tonight with my family. Ordered smoked wings, loaded baked potato, and baked beans. Food was average at best. Took about thirty minutes to come out. Everything seemed to make you feel full after a few bites, which I consider a sign of poor quality food. And here I am almost seven hours later, extremely full with horrible indigestion. I didn’t even eat all my food! My grandmother ordered the pulled pork, but sent it back immediately due to how salty and fatty it tasted. Never returning again!

The servers are usually spot-on at this location. The challenge centers around having items in stock and available that are offered thru their national advertisements. Recently they failed to offer the new loaded burgers offered online and by coupon mailer. Request was simply denied when asked. The Brunswick stew is delicious and can only suggest a little larger meat chunks to match a more traditional family meal. The kids menu offers some unique items not found at every other eatery. The neighboring table sent back«dry» chicken 3 times and then demanded refund. Management at this location is available by online feedback but feels very scripted and doesn’t seem to be naturally enthusiastic about her job and brand. Management failed to follow up quickly and adequately. Offers were never completed and additional client feedback was never responded to by Corporate and Local leaders. The new Ziosk system should help with feedback provided its actually used. Less than Mediocre and could be rated better with a little attention to detail and management involvement. Consider other options locally for BBQ.

So our server/outstanding bartender, Jamie, not only was pulling double duty, but we had an extremely large party. She was great at handling the different personalities we brought with a smile and warm attitude. If you want the best Smokey Bones experience please ask for Jamie. The food oh the food, the wings were amazing either grilled or regular you cannot go wrong. They have four of the available sauces on the table ask your server about them this will give you an opportunity to see what you enjoy. The third rib is only 4 ribs and is the lower end. The chicken breast are a healthy portion. Recommend that if you have a large party you go with one of their many specials this can lower the bill to under $ 5.00 per person. The wait staff all pitch in to help so make sure you remember what you order as you will not have the person that took your order brining out your food.

Not exactly the best Smokey Bones I have been to. I think I order the same thing every time I go, and while that does mean I am possibly missing out on another potential favorite, it also allows me to have a solid comparison point and compare locations as well observe the quality over time with mot only particular locations, but the franchise as a whole. The item I almost always have ordered is the Pulled Pork Platter. I like this one because it is pretty much what they claim to be all about and for the most part would be their most well known item aside from maybe the BBQ Burger. Having had copious amounts of bbq’d swine over my lifetime, this Georgia good olé boy has developed a real taste for the smoke amd loves to try those claiming to have the goods. Years ago, SB had what I would say was decent bbq for a national or regional franchise. ***Note: if you want the realest and best bbq, it will almost never be found im this tyoe. of franchise, but instead at a crappy shack or run down joint in a shady area being smoked up by some guy who been doing it for most of his or her life*** But I digress, over the years, SB has gone waaaaay downhill. Firstly I never liked the garlic bread ruse. basically you get a pile of pork on top of a slice of garlic toast. This makes the pork pile look like a bigger portion than it really is, but yo. wtf piles bbq onto garlic toast? Well, while you’re trying to wrap your mind around whatever that’s all about, lets’s talk about terrible textures. oft times(as in the past three times I went, spaced out over 2 years at 2 different locations) I have gotten a huge fat chunk or a big gristle joint in my pile. Now think back with me for a sec. I am already getting toyed with as far as the garlic bread basement to pork pile and so now I get even because of this big chunk that would be better suited for my dog to work on. the point is that SB has fallen off way hard. As far as this location, it was kind of weird walking in and there was only two other customers there as usually SB has a lot of people around, but the bartender who served us was really nice(especially compared to the service many other Unilocalers who have visited this location have complained about) and the restaurant was very clean. This location has a very low star rating, and it is not totally because of this particular one spot but because SB has simply jumped the shark and fallen off.

I am so DONE with this place! I’ve been taking the family here for over 10 years. Used to go weekly when they had Kids Eat Free specials. The last several times have been more and more disappointing. The past couple of years. the Kitchen has been slow as Sh@t… And the cooks do NOT know how to cook a Burger to the proper Temperature! On my most recent visit, I ordered a Burger done Medium-Well. That should have a little Pink, and be juicy. It came out well done– hard and dry. I sent it back, It took 15 Minutes for them to bring me my replacement! WTF– It’s a BURGER! 15 Minutes– for a RE-DO??? Then– THAT one came out BURNT as well. The manager happened to bring that one out to me. I looked at her in Disbelief! My family was already Done with their meals. The Manager offered to give me a Rack of Ribs which were already made, and kept warm like McDonalds Fries. The rack of Babyback ribs was slightly dried out and chewy. Definately NOT fall-off the bone! Smokey Bones– You have gone WAAAAAY downhill lately!

Last Smokey Bones I visited was in Atlanta, and now it’s closed, so I was a bit suspect when I pulled in here. I started the meal with Fried Mac-N-Cheese, the picture looked better than it tasted, so some of it made it back home. I went with the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, more chicken than batter, which is a good thing. This sandwich offered some fantastic flavor, better than I expected. Smokey Bones offers the Ziosk for checkout and my gripe is still that they default to a 20% tip. Tonight Andrews was worth it.

I love southern food and along with it its smoked cousine… To be honest… so far… this are the best smoked baby back ribs I have had ever… specially with the Brown Sugar glaze.(and I’m talking about SMOKE). If you’re looking for that soft pink color on the meet with its smokey hard crust flavor; but also if you like sweet BBQ sauce(very important, the Brown Sugar glaze is sweet) this franchise is the place to go to. I first tried it in Orlando and love it since the first time… I was exited when I found out they opened in Boca Raton, because now its only an hour drive if want to have some smokey bones. I think it’s time to come down to Miami!!!

Beef brisket sandwich was full of chunks of grizzle and pure fat. I purchased this as part of a To Go order, otherwise I’d not paid for this disgusting thing, instead I paid $ 13. Even if it was $ 3, I’d still give Smokey Bones a low score. I also picked up pretzels(they were good and fresh), and pulled pork, which I’m told was just okay(shoulda been better than just okay for $ 16 imo). Service while picking up was good and I liked that they had a dedicated area for To Go orders.
