Shake Shack never disappoints. The burgers are hand crafted to perfection, and the crinkle cut fries with cheese are just the icing on the cake. It’s pricier than most, but they could jack up their prices 10x more and I’d still love this place. Also this place is farther from my house than the Miami location, but I’ll be visiting here due to the hassle free parking.

Clean dining room, great outdoor seating, menu is posted outside before you walk in. If you miss it before hand like i did they have laminated copies by the register. Tried to find kids size options but could only order a plain cheeseburger, when we got it the beef was slightly raw inside which is okay for an adult but worried if its an issue for kids. Burger sizes are smaller than i expected. The top of my bun looked slightly bigger than slider size. A hungry man will need two burgers for sure. Kind of wish the buns were slightly toasted as everything had too soft of a texture. Shakes were very bland and milky. My fiancé had the strawberry and wished there were some strawberry chunks in it. I had the black and white and i really could have done without it. The cashier said it was vanilla and fudge, which made me expect ribbons of gooey fudgyness instead of the half frozen yoohoo that i recieved. The cheese sauce on the fries was great! Not artifical nacho cheese from a can at all. Light, gooey and went perfect with the crispy crinkle cut fries served with it. In the end all though not perfect, the food is very fresh and if im in the area and hungry ill be back but being from coconut creek i dont think ill make the trip out here specifically for it.

For a franchise, Shake Shack is a winner. They do make tasty hand-crafted burgers and shakes with organic ingredients in a very stylish, environmentally-sound interior. Having had their Smoke Stack burger and their Chik ‘N Shack, it’s definitely a great place to grab a burger, grab a seat, and move on with your day. Very tasty, very satisfying. And their banana caramel shake was excellent. Haven’t had their fries, but they’re crinkle cut from observing, and they look excellent.

This is the Shack! Flavorful, greasy, browned patty pairs perfectly with the warm and impressionable potato bun with just the right slice of melted cheese product. The lettuce is bright and crisp, tomatoes better than nearly anywhere in this part of the country. It’s my favorite burger of all the«chains.» Perhaps the only thing better than the burger are the crinkle cut fries, which were cooked to perfection. The CEO of Nathan’s should take note. A «cut» above 5-guys fries as well. The décor and branding – grey industrial, with green, reveals where BurgerFi got their concept. The thin patty reminds me of the now defunct SmashBurger. If their burger and fries are any indicator, I cannot wait to try the shakes that bear the brand name. My only complaint is that it’s a little too cool for this all-amurican father of 2, but were I responsible for the brand, I’d be delighted by how consistent everything about Shake Shack. This is a superb product.

Meat was extremely low quality beef. Chewy n grainy. Does not come close to burger fi, five guys, elevation burger or Unbelievably disappointed! Even steak n shake burgers are much better. I feel scammed with their marketing and all the hype out there.

Shakin’ and Shackin’ On the way to drop off a friend from out of town they decided they wanted a burger so the first quality burger spot that came to my mind was shake shack! So what did I do, Unilocal!Looked for a spot around this area and found this location that I’ve never been too. As we arrived I noticed this shake shack is bigger than the others I’ve been to. As soon as you walk in from the outside there’s a menu on the wall before you actually order. I got a smokeshack burger and my friend ordered a chick’n shack burger. As well as some fries :) This location has plenty of seating inside and outside of it. We decided to sit outside since the weather was nice, picnic style wood tables are all outside. A very homey feel to it. As for the burgers, they’re a little overpriced but very quality meat and chicken. My friend and I both tried each other’s burgers and agreed that both were awesome. So yeah you’ll pay a couple extra dollars for just burgers but it’s shake shake, they’re cool with me. P. S. Always put shacksauce on the burger!

As my mother used to say, there’s a first time and a last time for every place. Food fair. If this is supposed to be competition for 5 Guys, I’ll take 5 Guys every day and twice on Sunday.

Burger was fantastic! The Shack sauce on it was killer. Cookie shake was honestly the best shake I’ve ever had — I wanted to lick the cup. Cheese fries were fresh and delicious. I would order exactly what I ordered this time when I go back — perfection!

The shakes are amazing. Fries are unreal. I’m a vegetarian but find their veggie burger to be a horror show. It’s a fried portobello with a pound of burning cheese. Nah. Kids love burgers. Their custard desserts are amazing. Staff is pretty friendly which is a nice change of pace for fast food. Outdoor seating is a nice touch. It’s covered.

I wasn’t too happy with my first experience you can see that in my original review. So I figured it’s been a year maybe it was an off day or perhaps I was a bit cranky so I gave them another shot, Nothing has changed for the good still over priced still kiddie size milkshakes for six bucks. and for the life of me I can’t figure out why they can’t do a burger medium well for pete sake’s they are charging ten bucks. So your choice is bloody red or crunchy nothing in between you can’t even order it between. So Shake Shack you can keep your your dry tasteless over priced food, See ya !

Finals week at FAU and what better way to celebrate than having a burger from across the street at Shake Shack. I ended up ordering a typical burger«ShackBurger» with all the common assortments lettuce, tomato and onions, and their ol’ so special sauce. And by golly! It was delicious! Paired with some cheese fries and a caramel pretzel shake, I was in heaven. I definitely can see myself grabbing another bite further along the road. Five Guys better watch out! Shake Shack has some mighty fine burgers of their own.

It’s not bad, but people really hype up Shake Shack, but it’s nothing more than an average fast food burger. They have a limited menu(like 4 kinds of burgers and then hot dogs) but they change up their custard and shake flavors weekly, which is nice… Until you see how expensive everything is! I Ate here with a friend and our two burgers, hot dog, and drinks came up to $ 35!!! There are a dozen other burger places that I would rather fork over that kind of money. There is tight seating, so you might not be able to get a table during busy hours. There are a lot of tables outside, but none of them were bussed, so expect to clean yourself. There is also a Bocce ball alley outside. I ate a Shake Stack, which is a beef patty and a portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese. It’s pretty tasty, but $ 9 for a patty smaller than the width of my palm. I got a chocolate hazelnut shake, which was delicious! But also $ 5.50 for like 6 or 8 oz of shake. I’m not trying to sound cheap, but Shake Shack is expensive for very average burgers and shakes!!! I would much rather cook at home and eat something more filling.

[Disclaimer: I visited this Shake Shack in June 2014. Today is March 10, 2015. I’d say I’m a little delayed in writing my review, but I took notes. :)] I live in St. Louis with my husband, a man with a limited diet. For him, burgers and frozen custard are two items of common consumption. During our vacation to Florida last summer, we did not want to stray far from the food of his natural habitat. We made plans to check out the Shake Shack, a restaurant that oddly has zero locations in the St. Louis area despite having been founded by a St. Louisan. –Menu– Florida currently has four Shake Shacks that offer burgers, fries, hot dogs, and frozen custard. However, each location appears to offer different specialty concretes. [If you’ve never heard of a concrete, it is frozen custard blended with toppings.] –Atmosphere– This location has a cool retrofuturistic exterior. It is an order-at-the-counter kind of place with indoor and outdoor seating. You get a buzzer, and you pick up your food when it is ready. Inside, they had a communal counter-height table with barstools, a few tables, and some booths. The place was packed! We first sat at the counter-height table, but when a regular table opened up, I pounced on it! –Food– I considered trying to be healthy by ordering the vegetarian portobello ‘Shroom Burger, but calorically, it wasn’t any better than a single-patty burger. I opted for the latter topped with lettuce, tomato and pickles. The husband had a plain double, and we shared an order of fries. The burgers were good. The hand-cut fries were not. I’ve since read a bit about Shake Shack fries and have learned that Shake Shack switched from crinkle-cut to hand-cut, only to switch back to crinkle-cut after mass hysteria arose over the change. Our visit apparently fell within The Hand-Cut Fry Era. If you liked those fries, I’m sorry. They’re gone now, but you can go to Five Guys for similar hand-cut fries. If you didn’t, hooray! Crinkle-cut fries are back and allegedly are better than ever. If you dislike both varieties, I don’t know what to tell you. Don’t order fries. After our meal, we ordered the«Glades Donuts» concrete(vanilla custard, glazed cake doughnut, peanut butter sauce, and chocolate toffee). From what I can tell, each location appears to have a special concrete for which 5% of the sales go to a charity or cause. In Boca Raton, it was this concrete, and 5% of sales went to the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center. I would tell you that we ordered it because we are charitable people, but that wouldn’t be entirely true. The combination of doughnut, peanut butter, and chocolate toffee played a large role in our purchase decision. Unfortunately, the concrete was extraordinarily runny from the moment we received it. I get it. It was summer in Florida, so some melting is to be expected. However, this was like soup. That’s not how a concrete should be. A concrete should be thick. Like concrete. –Rating– Overall, this was an A-OK place. The burgers were good, the hand-cut fries not so good, and the concrete delicious yet runny. It was fun to try, but if I were a local, I don’t know if it would be a regular place for me. It was too crowded for my liking, but perhaps there are times when it isn’t so busy. I just feel like the food wasn’t great enough to justify the crowd and prices(currently $ 5.19 for a single, $ 7.99 for a double, and $ 2.95 for fries).

I just had the MOSTAMAZING cheeseburger ever!!! The Shake Stack is a regular cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato and shack sauce topped with a fried cheese stuffed(muenster and cheddar) portobello mushroom! OMG it was delicious! As soon as you bite into it the cheese from the mushroom ooze’s out like fondue everywhere and it never seems to run out of cheese they really fill it full of delicious cheese. I ate the whole burger it was THATGOOD! Add a few miles to my run later lol! It’s national cheeseburger day and I came here because I am not a fan of five guys and didn’t want fast food so I decided to come and try this place out and I am so happy I did! I have never been to Shake Shack before which is surprising since I live and work within 2 miles of the place. I will definitely be back for sure to try some of the shakes with my pup. They are actually a pet friendly restaurant and even have ice cream with treats for dogs which I love! Perfect excuse for me to come back =)

I freaking LOVE Shake Shack and I will use this review to sing its praises! I was introduced to Shake Shack in Madison Square Park in New York City and immediately fell in love with the simplicity of the burgers and fries. It’s also one of the more popular/touristy spots in the city, but I think it’s not without reason. So while I was in South Florida, I knew I had to make a trip down to the Boca Raton Shake Shack. Florida didn’t actually have any Shake Shacks until recently, so you can imagine how excited I was. The location itself is very nice and clean. It’s got a modern feel of a burger joint, and the kitchen is very open — AKA you can see all of the food and shakes being made right in front of you. You order your food, are given a buzzer, then you wait. I ordered the regular Shack Burger, which is a cheeseburger with cheese and Shack Sauce, which I can only describe as kind of a mayo-like sauce that is quite tasty. The cheese is gooey, but not too gooey to the point where it’s dripping out of the burger. The meat itself was cooked perfectly — the cashier even asked us if the temperature they normally cook their burgers at was alright for us, which indicated to me that I could have ordered it at a different/more well-done temperature if I wanted to. Now, this Shack has gotten rid of the crinkle fries, which are one of God’s greatest gifts to mankind, but I won’t knock the regular-shaped fries because they are pretty darn good too. Not too oily, but fried just right and they aren’t too salty either. And if that wasn’t enough awesome American food, you can get ICECREAM! And concretes and all these different mix-ins like blondie brownies and graham crackers. Shake Shack does daily specials as well as special ice cream concoctions for different locations, so definitely try their concretes or shakes if you get the chance. Last fall I tried a pumpkin concrete and it was incredible. Bottom line: I love Shake Shack, and am very happy I went. Hope they open one up near me soon!
