I can not believe I am Unilocaling about a funeral home! Much rather write about restaurants, hotels, etc.
Went to memorial service for friend’s Dad. Far as I could tell it was the only thing going on there that afternoon.
Arrived 10 minutes before the memorial was to begin. Told not to sign the register but rather get right in the room. There was seating about half way to two thirds of the way back. The ac could not cool the room by the admission of an employee who welcomed us. Although some employees brought in a few chairs in the back the rest of us had to stand in the back of a hot stuffy room for well over an hour. Are you kidding me? You could not even find twenty or 30 extra chairs to accomidate those left standing in the back. There was plenty of room. How about setting up a few fans? The 3 or four employees enjoyed the air conditioned comfort of the lobby area while a good amount of guests stood in the back sweating. Felt bad for some of the older ladies.
