Still giving it 4 stars for quality of food — actually the overall review should be 3.5 — the main issue there is the woman running the place. The management here, or lack thereof, is at times laughable, unless you are the one person in the restaurant waiting 45 mins. for your lunch. I’m not sure if she’s the owner or manager but the constant yelling at the employees is quite unprofessional. She also needs to teach the employees how to wait on tables. Yes, this sounds simple, but apparently it’s not happening. It shouldn’t take 10 minutes to get a water, especially when no one else is in the dining area. My check never makes it to the table, I have to scoop up my leftovers, bring them up to the counter to be boxed and asked for the check. Frustrating.

Definitely the best in Bloomfield so far. Came here to get take out, decided to try the subs. Got an 8″ meatball sub and an 8″ chicken parm sub. Both came with peppers and onions and fries. The order was ready pretty quickly and the service was friendly(surprised based on the reviews!). Got home and tried the meatball sub out. The meatballs were sliced and tender, I wish the marinara sauce was more flavorful though. The cheese and peppers were good though. ~$ 15 for two subs. Close to home, so far the service was of my liking and the food isn’t bad. Will definitely try the pizza out at some point.

Terrible Service. Ordered a pizza for delivery and it took 90 minutes to deliver. Once delivered the pizza was cold and they delivered a small pizza instead of a large one. No worries, as a new Bloomfield resident this pizza establishment will not get any repeat business from me and my family!

Excellent Pizza place in Bloomfield. They load on the cheese too. It’s closer to greek style pizza than anything else, certainly not deep dish, and a little heavy on the cheese & sauce to be New York style. I’ve only tried salami and banana peppers, which are great, they do have many other gourmet pizza options. So far, I’d say this is the best pizza place in Bloomfield.

Overpriced for what you get, and if you are in the bar… WAY overpriced!!! $ 6 for a glass of cheap Chardonnay? And it’s not like the atmosphere warrants the prices. I am going to say no, never again.

First time ordering i tried the italian sausage pizza, and meatball sub, damn the sub was big, tasty and very filling, and the pizza was good.(i like a thin crispy crust, this wasn’t)Next time I tried the fish and chips since i am from Westport, Mass. and i miss good seafood, i was pleasantly surprised, it was a good size piece of haddock with a thin, and tasty batter with a hint of lemon, and plenty of french fries, so next time i ordered, i got the seafood platter, AWESOME!!!, The scallops were big sea scallops(4) the shrimp were jumbo(4) clams were whole with bellies(5 – 6) and a regular size piece of fish,(haddock), plus french fries. Some places give a smaller size piece of fish with a platter, not this place, All for $ 22,EXCELLENT!!!The batter was thin yet crispy. I can eat a big meal, but could not finish this, it was a 2 day meal. As for a pizza place, i am very happy with the seafood being just as good as some seafood places i have eaten in my home town. If you are a seafood lover, don’t hesitate to give them a try, KEEPUPTHEGREATWORK!!!

I recently just moved to bloomfield and haven’t had any luck on finding some decent pizza. I will admit that I am quite picky, I like brick oven(the thinner crust) or as some call it cardboard pizza lol… the pizza here wasn’t bad– although a more Greek style pizza I was still able to enjoy it! The delivery was very quick and the customer service was good.

Pizza is great. Lots of extra cheese. I haven’t been to the place but order regularly. Good sauce and well cooked. Mostly crispy pizza

Six dollars and 49 cents for a super generously sized small Italian Grinder. Service was prompt and friendly, and the sandwich was an extremely good value for the price. All in all, I was very satisfied with my dining experience here.

Good pizza but recommend picking it up yourself. Delivery doubles the time IF the employees answering the phone mange to understand your phone number. Our order is still late every time.

Food is always on point. I probably order here maybe 3 times a month. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves pizza, wings, etc.

Would have given more stars. Food is good, but the lady running this place has a poor attitude. It’s a turnoff to see how she speaks to her employees. I’ve witness her going off more than once.

My first time in here was a great experience! I’ve probably driven past here qui9te a few times without really paying much attention because its not the most visible location. But now that I’ve eaten here, I’ll be sure to go back! The pizza slices are HUGE, and you definitely get a lot of value in what you order. I also like how there is that cozy family atmosphere to the place. Apparently they have been a family owned business for many years, and their dedication really shows. The service is very friendly, the atmosphere very inviting and overall a great value for the amount of food you’re served here. A definite A++, in my opinion!

Even good food can be tainted when the customer service is bad. The pizza is no doubt delicious. Unfortunately, between the wait times(typically 1 hr or more) and the nasty attitude from the person who answers the phone — the experience is ruined. There are not a lot of options for pizza in Bloomfield, which might explain the attitudes and bad service… but nonetheless their service is still unacceptable. Food is good. Service sucks.

This place is unbelievable and I must say full of not very smart people. I placed an order and was told my food would arrive in 35 minutes. 1 hour later, they called me to ask for my address for the 3rd time then they say they delivered my food to the wrong house! They didn’t even apologize for the mistake. Just told me it would take another hour to deliver my food. When the food was delivered, they couldn’t remember if I paid with a credit card! The food was digusting and I threw half of it away! What a waste. Don’t order from Bloomfield village pizza, people there are not very smart!

While Bloomfield Village Pizza is one of those places where the saying«don’t judge a book by it’s cover» totally applies. While the building is not much to look at, and the inside could use a bit of updating, the food is amazing. I’ve had the pizza and wings many times(this has been the local hang out for my co-ed softball team in the past) and have never been disappointed. I’ve also had lunch here with my team and service is always quick and friendly. Overall, it’s a great place to come and hang out if you don’t mind a bit of a rough exterior in search of delicious food!

Great sandwiches. I always grab take out from them. Their wings as well are very tasty. I can’t complain much about them. I recently ordered a buffalo chicken grinder. The chicken was juicy, and they made it very spicy. Yum.

A great place to get fresh, delicious food. We ordered the buffalo chic pizza, Greek salad and tuna sub. All were great. The greek salad had a great dressing, the pizza crust was outstanding and the topping moist and satisfying. We also enjoyed the pool tables. Just wish the bartender got off her phone sooner.

The epitome of a neighborhood joint. Cold beers, good food. Went here on a night when everyone but the dog was out for the evening. I sat at the bar and ordered a cold one, and a little later ordered Buffalo wings and a small calzone. I particularly enjoy their calzones, always hot and steamy, with fresh ricotta, mozzarella and fillings… this one had pepperoni, sausage and meatball. the crust is out of the ordinary too… glazed before baking, it comes out very crisp and delicious. I have no review for the wings because the calzone came before they did, and I asked them to cancel. Call me prudential or whatever, but I like my appetizers before the main course. Knowing they make their wings from fresh, and knowing they take about 20 minutes, I made it a point to order them about fifteen minutes before putting in for the calzone. Oh well… the calzone was very good, and honestly, filling enough. Bloomfield Village Pizza is still a great place to drop by, meet a few friends, douse the memories of the day, and fill your stomach. I’ll be back.

I had delivery from Bloomfield Pizza last Friday. The pizza was of better quality than our typical pizza place but delivery time was unacceptable. I ordered a party sheet at 4:30PM and scheduled for a 6:30 delivery and my pizza didn’t arrive until 7:10PM. In my book that was totally unacceptable. I work on a schedule and if I anticipated a late delivery I would have requested a 6PM delivery time. I think I gave them sufficient time. Aside from being late with my delivery they also forgot to give me my receipt, I specifically asked for a receipt. We tried running after the delivery guy of course we were not successful. Pizza was good, decent cheese coverage. Dough was crunchy, not thin crust. The square pieces were larger than what we are normally used to. Will have to try them out at least 2 more times prior to deciding if they are worth giving our money to each Friday. I wouldn’t eat here but so far the quality of the party sheet is decent. Pending final say on service. I can’t say I am inlove I will continue my search for cheap party sheet pizza.
