Bloomfield Animal Hospital

I have been looking for a new vet practice for my cats for a while now (their old vet’s answer to everything was to suggest a $ 1000 teeth cleaning). I met Dr. Dennis and Dr. Ceranowicz at a business event and thought «I think I found my new vets». They are professional, caring and compassionate, and practical about the best care for pets.

Very caring and compassionate people. They have taken great care of all my cats through their whole lives.

We moved to Connecticut when my dog was 5 years old. At previous vets, he would get so scared all the muscles in his body would tense up and he would be shaking like a leaf and hiding beneath me. When I took him to BAH, Dr. Dennis took her time with my anxious dog. She took him for a walk, and very slowly and patiently worked with him. Little by little he warmed up, and I was shocked when he would actually take treats from his vet and would lie down calmly on the ground. That was a first!
I was so astounded by how well they worked with my dog, and I loved that they saw and vocalized how sweet my dog really is and how gentle he is with my kids, even though he gets nervous at the vet. At previous vets they treated him like a problem they had to force the exam on. At BAH, they always treated him with warmth and compassion and patience. They figured out what worked well for him and I could actually take him in for treatment without dreading it (and without him fearing for his life). We saw both Dr. Dennis and Dr. Ceranowicz and got the same wonderful care from both. I was so sad to move away from CT and find a new vet. Even then, they gave me tips on what to look for in a vet and told me to call back at any time even after moving to California. They’re the best!

We were fortunate to have Andrea Dennis take care of our numerous dogs and cats for the last 30 years. She and Dr Ceranovich and their wonderful staff have taken excellent care of all of them from puppies and kittens up to the end of life experiences. I couldn’t ask for a more knowledgeable kind and concerned veterinarian for my sweet pets, and owe them all our thanks, for the loving way they have treated our human and animal family through the years. We highly recommend Bloomfield Animal Hospital unconditionally to anyone who has a pet that they love.

The staff is really great, all good people. We came here right after we moved to Bloomfield because I discovered a tick in my yorkie, and I was so scared! They saw us and Dr. Ceravich confirmed I successfully removed the tick and then helped me get a lyme vaccination going for both my dogs. We’ve been back for a few other things too since then, the whole crew is really great, prices are reasonable and I feel good about the quality of care and the people there. I’m glad we have this place, and it helped that they had a solid website, it reflects the place well. Thumbs up!

I just can’t imagine a more thoughtful, caring, compassionate veterinarian than Andrea Dennis! She is professional and highly skilled, and she is totally committed to her patients and their people. I’ve seen so many practices that do NOT operate this way. I’m so glad we have her now!
