This is a terrible Joann’s. They have the worst selection. Don’t even bother coming here for scrapbooking, stickers or paper rafting supplies, because they have consolidated so much. It’s a waste. Plus, the store is always gross and dirty.

I hate to do this but man, this store needs a demo. I’ll keep it short-​its old, understocked and dilapidated. There are crazy stairs in thr middle of this two story Joann that are from the 60s I think. Strange. It’s small, poor layout out and not functional. 5 check outs I think and never more the 5 patrons in the store. Fabric is upstairs. That area is pretty okay. Everything else is just sad. The staff is great but for Bloomfield Hills, you’d think they’d just rebuild it. Needs a renovation asap.

Worst joAnns I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to many across the country… Poor selection, messy unorganized. Sewing stuff is upstairs, craft stuff downstairs. Most shelves for crafts were bare and hodgepodge… No one was helpful nor friendly. I would not return

I was there today. The place is really filthy and unkempt… walls, floors, aisles… yuck. I found the staff edgy except for the check out lady who was very nice. I bought my buttons and left as soon as I could. I will never return there.

While the girl at the checkout counter was very friendly, I do not see myself returning to this store simply because it needs a lot of work. The bead selection was extremely picked over and many of the brands that I’m used to seeing at Joann’s were not there. I tried this store for a little variety a whim but I think I will stick with the Madison Heights location.

I went to Jo-Ann’s instead of Michael’s thinking they were very similar stores, but Jo-​Ann is a lot closer to where I love. Unfortunatly, I was very disappointed in what I found there. None of the aisles were labled, and I could not find one store employee to help me out. I wandered around for an hour looking for ribbon clamps! I eventually did find them at the very bottom of a shelf containing beads. There was only one employee at the cash register and it was very slow. I will not be returning.
