History
Established in 2001.
Myriam and Hilde purchased the property in 1997. After extensive renovations opened the Bed and breakfast in 2001.
The Property was the family residence of the Joseph Family who owned and operated the Joseph Markets in Bishop and in lone Pine, CA.

Business Owner
Hilde and Myriam with their family moved to Mammoth Lakes, CA in 1970 and continued living there until 2001.
In 1978 the family opened and operated the Swiss Café on Old Mammoth Road in Mammoth Lakes, CA. The restaurant was sold in 1983.
In the fall of 1994 the family re opened the restaurant as the Alpenrose which they operated until the fall of 2001.
The Joseph House Inn was opened in the fall of 2001.
