I don’t recommend anyone bringing there car here I brought my car in cause I had a blow out and had called the day before to price out a new tire not only was I completely lied to about the price of the tire when I arrived the wait time was horrible. They told me it would be 30 minutes. After I waited for 1.5 hours I had to just leave my wheel and tire with them. The following day I came in to have my new tire put on my car and my spare taken off also I purchased another tire so the rear tires would match I arrived at 7:30 am and waited till 10:30am when they finally pulled my car up then they bring up the Hidden install fees that clearly on the website it shows the install of another $ 49 then after I left I had to return because they never put my spare and and trunk back together they had also lost the cap to my rim and they can’t get the tire pressure light off. If you have a tire problem do not bring it here!

Most times I have come to the NTB, they have recommendations, and the service usually lasts a while. However, this most recent visit was much shorter than times past. It was probably only 30 – 45 minutes this time for the oil change and tire rotation. They were kind this time and only pointed out a small dint that was in the wheel from probably one of the many Birmingham potholes. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the service this time around. I come here because we get this sweet 6 coupon set every year or so that makes the oil changes a lot cheaper. It’s in a decent location. They were not busy this Monday morning around 9 – 10. They just always have room for improvement on their soft skills. It was a better experience this time.

My experience with these guys was great. I was visiting from out of town in my Honda S2000 which does not have a spare tire anymore. At 4:55 on a Saturday afternoon I noticed that my rear tire had been killed by a screw in the sidewall, which is not repairable by anyone. It was completely flat and I needed to get home the next day because I absolutely had to be at work on Monday. Unilocal found NTB, it was the only place open. My niece put their address in my GPS, we got there about 5:15, they sold me the cheapest tire they had in that size and we were back out the door by 6:00 pm. They were polite, friendly, and they had a clean waiting room with a flat screen TV and clean bathrooms. They hit me up for $ 130 total, which is cheap considering the tires I normally use are about $ 250 ea. They didn’t try to sell me any extra add-​ons. I’ve dealt with a lot of tire stores in my time, these guys are pretty much on the level. I needed a fix to get me home until I could a normal replacement tires shipped to me, and they certainly didn’t try to take advantage of my predicament.

I would not recommend this particular location to anyone. I went in for an estimate and he rushed me out of there I couldn’t even ask any questions! When I walked in the gentleman (I can’t remember his name) was playing with his phone and no other customer was in the store being waited on. I asked about a quote on tires and he printed off a sheet of paper handed it to me and walked off, I had to ask him to come back to the register because I still needed assistance?! As I was asking my question the phone rang and he picked it up right in front of me as I was STILL speaking! There was another employee in the store who wasn’t doing anything but standing there who could have answered the phone, or the gentleman could have asked me if I minded him answering the phone, I honestly wouldn’t have mind but the manner in how he did it was rude! When he was done he hung up the phone and walked off AGAIN! At that point I simply left.
