Added to my «not to be trusted» list.
Went in to have a door lock actuator replaced. They called after an hour to say it would be a week to get the part. OK so far. I didn’t have a week because I’m leaving town. I’ll deal with it later.
When I went to pick up my vehicle they wanted $ 50, I said for what? You didn’t do anything. The mechanic claimed he took the part off to test the voltage. It was clearly a mechanical issue and the same mechanic said so when I dropped the vehicle off. There was no point in checking the voltage if you couldn’t get the part that day. If he did the work it should have been on him for jumping the gun. I can’t say if he did anything or not. Either way I felt ripped off.
From their attitude, I assume they are used to being in a confrontational situation with their customers. BTW a $ 100 shop rate seems high for Billings especially since the part quote was a 100% markup from retail.
I recommend you avoid this place.

training a young kid how to buy a used car and to find a good place to have inspections on them THIS IS DIFFENTLY NOT THE PLACE he brought home a blank peice of paper with nothing but the price of the inspection and nothing about what they found this place isn’t worth 1 star rating i had my nephew go there to get a vehicle inspection done on a used vehicle they had the car up on the rack for less then 20 mins they didn’t test drive the vehicle the said that the front bearing need to be repacked needed idler arm tie rod ends rear brakes
and the front cv joints need to be replaced well the last and a couple other things they told him it was 590 dollars to replace each side and 5 hours each side the the vehicle wasn’t worth it but he would sell him another vehicle he had for 5000 dollars the bottom of this story is the vehicle is a one owner vehicle owned by a friends bother that pasted away and the vehicle was maintained in the dealership for everything yes the cv boots were bad and need to be replaced but to say the vehicle is junk not to by it and buy his crap time you sucked when you had the heights conoco and ripped people off to bad john the old owner let you use the name he built that place with you should never be allowed own a business to take advantage of the young and old people or people that dont know anything about cars keep up the work you should be reported for be a sham artist i pray that other people read this and you are shut down

I experienced excellent customer service at precision. I had a minor repair that was taken care of promptly and efficiently. The owner was very personable and professional. I would recommend this business.

These guys went above and beyond for me when my car’s engine was giving out on I-​90.
My dad called in while I rolled towards Billings at a slow 45 mph on the highway, told me that someone named Dale was waiting for my car to pull in. Dale and the rest of the staff gave me a warm welcome and walked me though each step of the way.
After finding out that I needed to replace my ignition coil, Dale let me know that he was willing to keep the shop running a little past closing time just to take care of my car and make sure it was running properly.
This experience was as smooth as car troubles could get, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the Precision Automotive team’s service during my drive through Montana.

Took my car in for buy one get one free oil change. Later found oil filter loose. was told my steering rack was leaking and would cost over 600 dollars to replace. Took my pickup in for «free «oil change and was told the steering rack was bad on my pickup as well as my car. Took both vehicles to my regular mechanic who told me nothing was wrong with the rack on my car, and tightened a loose fitting on my pickups steering rack. DO NOT take your vehicle here!
