Rooter-Man was established in 1970 by CEO and Entrepreneur, Donald MacDonald, in North Billerica, Massachusetts. In 2003, my wife and I had an opportunity to purchase an existing Rooter-Man franchise. With the last of our savings and three young girls in tow, we did so. Brenda was nervous, but I was confident, having had many years experience in sewer and drain cleaning. We grew slowly and increased our territory and personnel and we created a team/family that we are proud of. Through our work, daughters, and trial and error, we continue to grow and learn. Over the past years, we have tapped into the wisdom and experience of other franchise owners; it has been rewarding to be part of such a large group of individuals willing to share their knowledge. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve the public and expand our business while raising our children.
