All the wonderful reviews on Unilocal convinced me to go here and zipline with my family. Unfortunately, someone has overtaken the smart folks who ran it when the Unilocal reviews were happening — and now it is only open to groups of 10 or more. My family, sadly, doesn’t reach the quota. This is now a place to have your corporate picnic, but regular people aren’t allowed in anymore. The Unilocal website is no longer valid, either. VERYSAD. If they ever change it, someone please email me. I was really looking forward to this experience.

The guides were very friendly and knowledgable. They made the experience super enjoyable. I highly recommend cedar lake. It was my first time zipping and I was not too enthused but after this experience ill definitely be returning.

Awesome staff! They really put your nerves on ease when you’re nervous-wreck like me. Once I was taught the proper form and headed onto the lines it was BEAUTIFUL! Enjoy the view once you’re up there. Driving up the road to get to this place was difficult, look for the little sign on the ground, so you know when to turn right. I would go in Spring, any other time might be too hot or cold. FYI– take ur allergy meds, forgot mines and ended up teary up up there. Have fun trying to matching gloves, lol. I kept finding left handed gloves and not right. Looked through the bin forever until I found a mismatched up.

Chose to go here with the lady on the three zipline tour. This was my first ziplining experience. Devin and Tammy were our instructors and they were nice, funny, informative, and kept things entertaining but also professional. My favorite line was definitely running off a rock to a platform on a tree 100 feet off the ground. Don’t worry, we were one-by-one roped to the tree. Being in nature was therapeutic with the smell of the forrest and a view of Big Bear Lake. The ziplines are part of the Cedar Lake Christian Camp. They hire a separate professional company to run the ziplines so I am not sure how and who to contact if you want to go. The way I found out about them is through a groupon. Next time I go I will definitely zipline their five-line tour. It has the longest and highest line – so down.

First time ziplining and had no idea what to expect. Really glad that I was able to zipline over here at Cedar Lake Camp! The staff were extremely friendly, funny and walked through every single detail to make sure you maximized the amount of fun and safety. They made even the beginning 30 minutes where it was all lectures fun and entertaining as well. We went on a beautiful day, 75 degrees out and it was literally the perfect day to go ziplining. I was expecting some exercise but really you don’t exercise at all. There were four different lines on the whole experience and really the only negative were the limited amount of ziplines to go on. The experience was amazing and I’m happy to say that I’d definitely go again. The feeling of being around nature and flying through the trees is just incredible. The photos that we were able to take up in the trees turned out great so make sure to bring your camera when you come!

This place is great. We went ziplining over thanksgiving and had a blast. We have ziplined before at a place called Navitat in July. In comparison, Cedar Lake is much more of a «fresh» experience. Navitat is really high end… and strikes me like a place where you would go for a corporate team building event. Becasue of that, it is very formula. Don’t get me wrong, it is great… and beautiful– the tree platforms are like archetectural marvels, but the experience at Cedar Lake was more grass roots and authentic, for us. Cedar Lake ziplining is a RUSH of excitement, still in a safe controlled enviroment. My 7 and 8 year olds ziplined too(they have to meet a weight requirement) and loved it. They were scared at first, but ended the day wanting more. The guys were gentle and worked with them to build thier confidence. The guides were also funny and seemed to enjoy working with land loosers like us– and teaching us to fly through the trees. Navitat guides were too cool for school mountain men– or at least they thought so. Whatever! Why is this review of Cedar Lakes awesomeness being taken over by Navitat? I guess i only have them to compare too. Last note… My grandma would have loved and felt super safe at Navitat– which is great, but not the experience we were looking for– we wanted more of a rush and natural(and totally safe) experience. Anyway… highly reccomend Cedar Lake… seriously… the BEST. Super Fun… Great experience.

I cannot state enough how much fun this was… They have excellent customer service and really made this experience AWESOME. I did not want to go due to my fear of heights, but being that I am vying for Mom of the Year Award, I made myself go since my little one has wanted to go ziplining for what seems to be forever. I am glad I did!!! And I felt comfortable the entire time. These guys are great! I felt that I could trust them and that I would be breathing and alive at the end of the tour… AND I WAS. There are other zip line tours available in Big Bear, but they have some weird photo policy… That policy is that you CANNOT take pictures, but not to worry because they have their own professional photographer on site… no thanks… came to spend money on a zip line NOT a photo shoot… So if you are in the area and want some excitement… give these guys a call… you won’t be sorry!!!
