The guys at the shop were very helpful and friendly. I was able to rent a board and boots for $ 24.50 and insurance is only $ 1. Their gear is good quality too. Def renting here against next time I come up

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! My girlfriend and I wanted to go sledding for a day and found Blauer Rental. We walked in, grabbed a couple sleds, and the guy working there starts going on about if we decide to do «dumb» stuff with our sleds like building jumps make sure we clean them up when the sleds break. He continued on about how when he’s being a hippy in the summer eating granola bars he’ll find a sled or two on «his» trails. Like we are going to leave our sleds and liter. It was nice of him to jump to conclusions. How he has a job is beyond me. Luckily for their company they had already swiped my card when he started talking and it wasn’t worth the time to get a refund. I like leaving good reviews. I never have left a bad review until now. But this place really sucks and the granola eating hippy ski bum was rude. Avoid, do not waste your money here.

The senior sales person kept saying racists statements towards my cousin and we had to leave. Really disappointed with such a sad experience. He kept saying things like «here in America, we say…» or «here in America we do…» and «get the f. out of my face.» I recorded him because that was the only way to shut him up. This place is awesome. We rented 5 sets of snowboards and boots, the prices were great and the staff were helpful and super nice. I definitely recommend this place and will use them again next time we visit!

They have a decent selection of ski and snowboarding rental equipment and some accessories for purchase.
I got the basic snowboard package rental for $ 23.50.
The people that worked here on the morning I got my stuff were not nice and did not provide good customer service. They could almost care less that I was there. That is the reason for a 3 star.
The guy that was there when I dropped off my stuff was nice.
There are plenty of other rental options in Big Bear that take pride in good customer service. This place should take note.
