The Doggie Depot

I have been bringing my two dogs here every month for over a year now and have always been extremely happy with the results. Joel is always able to squeeze us in and works with our schedule. My dogs love Jess, and are always happy to go for their grooming!

Our dog Molly had a little incident while getting groomed, but nothing that The Doggie Depot cant fix!
Thank you guys for your concern and immediate attention for the well being of our dog, compared to others, you excel in customer service and attention to detail. That includes pets and owners!
A job well done and we are definitely taking our golden retriever back for business!

I have taken my little Westie puppy here twice and I have been so pleased with everything! My little guy looks so handsome and the staff are incredibly kind and patient. My puppy is just learning how to be a good boy for the groomer (he has some work to do), but the staff were so understanding. They gave me some ideas on how to help him be more comfortable with grooming activities (he sadly had a recent traumatizing experience at the vet that has made him very fearful of anything near his face and eyes). But, we will work on it!
I feel very confident in leaving my puppy here-​it is clear how much the owner and staff care about animals. And dogs are always coming in and out. and seem happy! Another great sign!
I am so glad Doggie Depot was recommended to me. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and travel from Boston for his appointments. I would recommend them to anyone!

I went for the first time to get my new puppy’s nails trimmed. Everyone was so friendly. He did not seem scared at all. Excellent service.

Twice a year I get the extra handsome treatment with a visit to the best dog groomers on the North Shore, Doggie Depot in Beverly Farms.
Joel and his crew are fantastic! I highly recommend this shop, five big woof stars!

My husband and I brought our two year old dog here today for the first time and I was so surprised how calm she was when we walked in. The employees and owner were so welcoming and friendly that I didn’t feel bad leaving my dog there. I also really appreciated how they brought Lucky out back right away and let her sniff around the grooming area. When we came to pick her up, she didn’t run right up to us like «get me out of this place», she walked past us and sniffed around and went behind the counter, she seemed so comfortable and calm which is unlike her past visits at other groomers. Her haircut looked amazing and she was in and out of there in less than two hours. I highly recommend this place.

The girls at The Doggie Depot truly love everyone’s animals. My dog has a lot of hair to cut and they take the time to make it look perfect everytime!

Caitlyn and Joel welcomed our Irish Terrier on very short notice. They proceeded to do a great job hand stripping /​grooming her to a regulation AKC cut. And bathed her (No small task!) They returned her to us looking fantastic and extremely calm… she certainly wasn’t yearning to leave! All in all a great experience at a very reasonable cost. Spotlessly clean. These folks are great! Would highly recommend.

Mica and I have been following Caitlyn everywhere since she started to groom. Mica loves the doggie depot esp because Joel the own give her special attention to her crazy shedding. Husky mixes are just as furry as a sibe husky. Mica always comes out so pretty Nd smelling fresh!

Have you ever walked out of groomer and said to yourself, «OMG, what the heck did they do to my fur!!!» Well my dog Chloe really never has since we always ask for a puppy cut (I’m guessing you can’t really mess that up) but she has come out of the groomer, on occasion, and had her tail tucked between her legs because her fur was cut so short she felt naked. :)
Not so at Doggie Depot.
Chloe normally will yank on her leash away from the groomer once she figures out where we’re going. But our trip to Doggie Depot was atypical from the moment we parked our car at the train station and walked in; she didn’t want to run away even when she realized we were at the groomers. I think dogs inherently have a sense of detecting animal lovers and my guess is that she knew right away Joel (owner?) is such a person. The shop was very clean and everyone working there was super friendly. And most importantly Chloe didn’t mind going there. :)
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a pet groomer.

Just wanted to thank the Doggie Depot for the great job they did on Libby (the crazy ADHD poodle today) Very nice business they have going there. To bad it took me 3 years to find you them. When we got her I brought her to a friend that works in Chelmsford and she did a great job. But it was super far. Then we brought her to a few places around here. All of them kinda dumpy. From the moment I stepped into the Depot I had a great first impression. From the friendly and professional staff to the cleaned and welcoming décor. Libby had a great finished product with super reasonable price and a badass mohawk too. Thanks a lot! I’m not much of a review writer, but I had to for this.

We needed to get our 11 year old Golden Retriever groomed at the last minute and our regular, very good groomer was fully booked. So, plan B. Our vet recommended The Doggie Depot for an appointment, which we did. This was during some very hot days in early July, so they suggested a «puppy cut», which is a bit more expensive. She looks like a baby polar bear cub and sure looks much happier this summer. We now have a new «go to» groomer.

WOW! I couldn’t be happier. I have tried out 3 different groomers in the Beverly area and this one is THE BEST — BY FAR! The owners and groomers are SUPER and my pup looks like a IAMs doggie model.
The price is right — actually, the price is better than any of the other prices I have paid. The location is perfect… drop the dog off, grab a bite in the farms… do a little shopping… take a walk to the beach — or all of the above.
Usually when I drop my lil pup off somewhere, he freaks which makes me freak… not the case here! Benny might has well have jumped out of my arms — he was clearly calm which put little miss puppy mom at complete ease.
The shop is extremely clean there are insanely cute doggie clothes for sale and for all the dog daddy’s out there… there’s a TV right in the waiting room — so no more excuses that «the game is on — I’ll drop the pup off tomorrow».
New customers get $ 10 off — so all in all, there really is no reason you shouldn’t make an appointment directly after you finish reading this… I sound like a commercial — who gets this excited about a dog grooming salon HAHA — but, truly my experience was that great — ok, so now, there is nothing else to read… so get off Unilocal,call and make an appointment
