History

Established in 1971.

In 1971, a marvelous old train station (1898) in Beverly, Massachusetts, went on the market. With imagination and hard work, the Beverly Depot Restaurant and Saloon became the talk of the town. Maintaining much of the original structure, the dining room has an enormous curved brick wall at one end which houses a large working fireplace. Although the depot building no longer houses the ticket counters, it is still the Beverly stop on the Boston and Maine Railroad, bringing people from all over the greater Boston area to dine with us.

By August of 1985, plans were completed and construction finished on a new banquet facility on the Depot’s lower level. Able to accomodate up to 130 guests, the Depot has become the popular spot for special banquets and celebrations.
