We’ll Get the Food

I have used this service for about 2 years and it is great. So convenient and affordable. They are always nice, efficient, and they communicate well. Love the bonus gifts they throw in! So glad for this service!

What a great service! I live right opposite Whole Foods in Beverly Hills but that particular store sucks. They are often OUT of basic groceries (like bananas, lemons, cucumbers, zucchini etc) and every week I seem to buy a vegetable or fruit that is bad inside (like brown inner onions). This coupled with the extortionate prices at WF — I have started shopping at Trader Joes.
Yesterday I had a big grocery list and no time. I emailed these guys and they had EXACTLY what I wanted at my doorstep two hours later.
They even give GIFTS with the order (something that any companies no longer do) which leaves me decidedly convinced to NEVER do my own shopping again!!!
A top notch service.

I came home from a 1.5 month trip from Europe with a nasty cold and an empty refrigerator on a rainy day. Embedded in the couch, there was no way I was going to shop– in the past, I would just stare at things and shuffle around like a zombie, becoming Patient Zero for everyone.
Not anymore! Thanks to WGTF, I ordered all the dairy, bread, and produce basics, plus a weeks worth of freshly made soup to help speed up the healing process. Chose my delivery window, and voila! All my groceries, plus flowers and shortbread cookies as a free treat. They got one thing wrong (chicken noodle instead of matzo ball), but I didn’t mind, and didn’t say anything. However, they did: within an hour, they got a hold of me and told me that they were very sorry for the mix up, and sent the correct soup ASAP, gratis.
Unfortunately, I live 5 – 10 minutes away from said grocers, but WGTF was a godsend when I didn’t want to start the zombie apocalypse. I most definitely will use them in the future.

This service is great. My husband and I are happily car-​free and this service has saved us from a major hassle, grocery shopping! Even if I get a car, I think I will still use this service. I have my usual shopping list saved in my account, which saves me a ton of time checking out. The delivery is always cold and on-​time and I have always gotten a nice bunch of flowers and an extra chocolate treat with my orders! It’s a nice little extra. For me, the relatively small cost is well worth the service received. My husband, a notorious cheapskate penny-​pincher, even agreed it was a good deal and recommended this to a friend. That’s some serious kudos. Believe me.
In response to other reviewers who did not get exactly what they ordered: this happened to me. I love a particular soy milk and I thought I ordered that one, but it was replaced with a different brand in the same size. It tasted fine, but I honestly hesitated to order again because of this. So, I sent in a ‘recommend a product’ request with a picture of the carton of soy milk and a note about wanting that brand in particular. I got a very quick and personal response back assuring me it would be fixed, and the soy milk was in the next order! Yay! So, I recommend getting in touch in advance or when you order if there is anything you really must have. I use another grocery delivery, but I really prefer this one for the selection and service.

Worst ever! Laughable if I wasn’t so upset. Only order from here if you think the delivery guy has better taste than you do. Because he’ll be choosing your groceries for you. And if he can’t find what you ordered, he’ll pick some random items and bring those instead. I wonder if he just gets to the store and sees they didn’t have 4 items I ordered and then instead of calling to tell me this and asking if I still want the order, he just walks around looking at items and thinking, «hmmm, wonder if she would like chocolate with peaches in it, ooh and maybe she likes ginger candy, or fudge, I’ll just get her that instead of what she ordered.» Meanwhile, I can’t stand chocolate or any of the random groceries he picked out without my permission. And sometimes his random items replace the one item I needed which was the whole basis for the order in the first place. They should change their name to grocery grab bag.
I tried them twice. The first time I was burned, the owner emailed me back and said he’d refund part of my money and that this would never happen again. I discussed with him in great detail about how ridiculous it is that they wouldn’t give me the option to cancel my order if they don’t have what I ordered in the store. I said, just call and ask me if I still want the rest of the order. And don’t charge me for stuff you can’t bring me. And please when they don’t have what I ordered, please do not substitute whatever you want instead but still charge me for the actual item I purchased! And he agreed that this was a ridiculous way to do business and would never happen again. So I reluctantly gave them one more chance. And they did the exact, EXACT same thing! They brought me completely random stuff I didn’t order!!! I could have been allergic to what he brought. How ridiculous of him to just pick what he wanted and charge me! I am in shell shock about this. I appreciate that they are willing to refund money, but it is unconscionable to deliver only part of the groceries someone delivered without notifying them and without giving them the chance to cancel. And thinking it’s ok to choose your groceries for you when they’re out of stock. Did they ever think that maybe someone orders something to get ONE thing they really want but just order the additional items to get that one they really need? So when they don’t have that ONE ITEM you really care about, that you might want to cancel the entire order??? That it what
does. They call you and say, «Hi, this is
, we are calling to let you know that we are out of blank, would you still like to keep the rest of your order?» That is what this place should do!
did this and I said, actually, I’d like to cancel my order since I’m only calling for that item really. So then I stupidly called «we’ll get the food» and they brought me a bunch of stuff I didn’t want rather than calling me and asking me like
who has common sense. I’m done with this place unless they change their policies.

I am not sure where to begin to highlight the excellent service I have experienced with Mark and his team. I have been ordering from this company for several months and have had nothing but consistent perfect service. As an example, my husband and I hosted a party last weekend and Mark offered to pick up last minute items. What impressed me so much about this was that he offered to pick up cupcakes and flowers from locations that were not listed on their website. He even graciously offered to pick up the flowers and the cupcake on the day of the party to ensure that both were fresh. That is just one example of the impeccable service that they provide. As an added bonus, they always include a nice surprise of flowers or sweet treats in our bag of groceries (as a courtesy). I will continue to be a loyal and happy customer and recommend this service to anyone. You truly will not be disappointed.

YES! This service is the best! We’re staying in the Arts District downtown for a while, where there aren’t many grocery options in the area within walking distance, and WGTF has been a miracle for us. Hopefully wherever we stay next will be within the delivery area, because now we’re hooked.
I’d previously been torn between walking to the super-​expensive boutique grocery nearby (think $ 6 frozen burritos) and Über-​ing across town to Trader Joe’s in Silverlake… But now thanks to WGTF, for far less than the price of an Über, we can get the exact same groceries delivered to us here without having to drop what we’re doing.
Ordering online is super easy. Whatever scant price difference there is (if any!?) in the price of each item we order is WELL worth it. Delivery fee is ridiculously affordable, so throw in a tip to your driver.
I’ve suggested a couple of items I couldn’t find on their site, not at all expecting to get them, and lo and behold, the items appear in my delivery for free. Phone/​email service with Mark is easy as can be, and we’re happy and well-​fed. Plus, these guys are the sweetest and they throw fresh flowers and a sweet treat into our haul each time. nice ones, too.
Cannot think of even one way in which they could improve.

AMAZING! Everything delivered was requested, AND they even included a couple other items I requested via email for FREE. Bonus was beautiful flowers and a chocolate bar. The $ 8.95 was completely worth it (I also added a tip). Wow, I might not have to face the long lines at TJ’s again with this service!

What an amazing service!
My boyfriend and I both woke up sick this morning. I wanted to do something nice for him, but being bed-​ridden myself, the idea of getting up, shopping, and driving to his apartment sounded like the last thing I wanted to do.
I placed an order (soup, kleenex, cookies, orange juice, etc) and then noticed sadly that there wasn’t any actual cough medicine on the website. I gave them a ring and the nice man (mark, i think?) told me to just add my additional items to the «notes» section and that it wouldn’t be a problem.
After my order was placed and confirmed, I immediately received a personal email saying that they’d received my special notes/​order. He said that not only would it be delivered the same-​day, that they’d add the cough medicine, and they’d make sure there was no receipt (because i intended it to be a gift) — BUT they would even throw in a get well card and flowers!
You can imagine how stoked i was that my sick man would be getting taken care of, all without me ever having to even get out of BED!

Really had a great experience with this service. Its reasonably priced, you can get same day service and the delivery staff is courteous.
My food has always been in really good shape (I order mostly fresh food) and I haven’t had any problems with freshness. Everything that I would ever buy at TJ’s is in WGTF inventory. I even got some freebies-​fresh flowers and something else.
I have no complaints, called today and they are able to deliver to me today, saves me a trip to my overcrowded TJ’s!

I hate grocery shopping… I don’t know what it is, but I cannot get myself out of the house to do it! Sometimes I’ll eat out for days at a time just to avoid it, it’s ridiculous! You can imagine how happy I was to discover We’ll Get The Food. By all means, please do! The delivery charge of $ 8.95 is fair and worth every penny. I typically shop at Trader Joe’s and they list many of their items on their site. I believe they also carry food from Whole Foods and Bristol Farms. If there is anything I want that isn’t listed on their site, I just request it in the order message and if they find it, they add it to my bill. Easy. They are always on time (did I mention they offer same day delivery!?) and sometimes I receive thoughtful flowers! It’s amazing how flowers can make my day. The customer service is above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. Mark really has the customers best interest in mind. What a luxury!

I really wanted to try this place out, but when I went online to do my shopping, they hardly had anything that I typically purchase. My eating lifestyle is very organic and gluten free so that may be why, but I feel like this is L.A. don’t most people eat that way? Maybe I just eat very specific items so I am sure that is also part of it.
Oh well! Off to the grocery store I go :/

Love them! I’ve used them a few times and they’re always on time and it’s so easy to pick a time, as they usually have same day slots available. Also, everytime I’ve ordered from them I’ve gotten some free surprise item, such as last time when I received a bouquet of daisies with my groceries, and I believe the time before that I got free cookies and chocolates. Also, if the store is out of stock of something you ordered, they will give you a refund AND something similar to what you wanted. Truly great compared to other delivery services.

Love this friendly helpful service. I have had them deliver on the same day, as late as 9 PM. They call if items aren’t available, pick the freshest produce, and deliver with a smile … and sometimes a little surprise gift tucked into one of the bags. I do hope they stick around as it has been a very helpful service for a busy working professional (they seem to shop mostly at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and Bristol Farms).

WGTF is such a great service. Delivery costs are low ($ 8.95) and they deliver the same day. There has never been a mistake with my order and they have always been on time. They even squeezed my delivery in on a day in which they did not have any slots available. They are also very responsive to any emails you send them. I could not be happier!

Want to shout their name from the rooftops!!! Because of them I was able to send some much needed supplies (soup, kleenex, juice — the essentials) to a very sick friend of mine. I was feeling helpless being that I was across the country for Christmas yet they made it possible to deliver some TLC, not only to her but also to her pup. Compared to the other quick delivery sites, We’ll Get the Food’s product quality and selection was far superior. All the products came from Trader Joe’s. Mark communicated with me directly & repeatedly and was so kind. They even threw in some extra treats for the doggie and delivered the care package early. Such personal, attentive service will not be forgotten. Very happy to have discovered this great company and strongly recommend giving them a try.
