Going in to have any procedures can be such a scary thing especially when it comes to a mommy makeover; so many things go thru your mind, especially if you are a mommy. Your mind starts racing wondering if you are making the right decision and the last thing that you want is a doctor who is pushy yet alone arrogant.
I’ve heard stories of some women meeting with different doctors just to find the one that they are most comfortable with. Many will say that I am crazy for not shopping around for a doctor but the truth of the matter is that Dr. J was the first doctor that I met with, and when I did meet with him I didn’t feel the need to shop around for another doctor yet alone get a 2^nd opinion.
Upon meeting with Dr. J, I didn’t know what to expect, I was really expecting for him to tell me that I needed to lose another 20lbs or etc., I wasn’t expecting for him to say that the surgery can be done whenever I was ready. So to my surprise I scheduled my surgery date the day of my first visit.
I had a million questions and Daria (office manager) was there to help. At one point I was sending lengthy emails with a ton of questions, and not one time did Daria sit on an email or answer rudely, as a matter of fact she called me a few times and gave me honest answers with exact details to all my questions and whatever I didn’t understand she found a way to make me understand it.
Day of surgery comes and I am nervous, as I am sitting in the waiting room to be called in, I was thinking to myself how crazy is this, you will walk in looking one way and wake up looking different, and then it hit me what if I don’t wake up at all. Once my name gets called I didn’t know if I should be happy or afraid, I guess a mixture of both. Once I see Dr. J’s smile it assured me that things would be ok, once we spoke he assured me that I would be fine and told me that it is common to be nervous, and that he would do his best! He walked me through the procedure once more and even suggested a change to the cc’s of my implants (boy am I glad he did!). He told me what to expect when I first wake up, he reminded me what I needed to do to help the healing process, and once more assured me that everything would be fine.
Dr. J and his staff were there for me through the whole process, Dr. J has the most amazing bedside manners that I have ever experienced in my whole life. He not only provided me with his cell phone number in case I had any questions, but he actually called me a few days after to see how I was doing and to remind me to do my homework. Every time I called him or his office they all got back to me in a timely manner and never made me feel like I was bothering any of them. On the contrary they would assure me that it was ok to call and ask questions.
Dr. J has a keen eye, he knows what he is doing, he is good at it, but most of all he has a heart of gold which is rare now a days!

As a busy ophthalmologist and surgeon who appreciates high quality patient care, I share a number of mutual patients with Dr. Jarrah-​Nejad. Not only do our patients provide me with the most positive feedback regarding his office staff but that Dr. J provides overall compassion in his work, cares for each patient as if his only patient, but most of all, his precision and talent in his surgical skills are unquestioned. I went in for a consultation but for some reason he did not want to assist me with surgery. I had researched this doctor being that I wanted to make sure that I made an informative decision. I wanted lipo and a BBL. My health is in perfect condition. He stated I would not be a candidate but as a Dr. he never even gave me any alternative options. It seemed as if he felt like I couldn’t afford surgery. I just did not like the way I was treated. Needless to say I found another Dr. in Beverly Hills and I am completely satisfied w the results.

My wife previously had breast augmentation about 13 years ago from a female doctor in the Pasadena area. Her breasts were not looking right and it turns out they had become encapsulated. We researched many different doctors from famous to not so famous and several of the TV famous doctors never even bothered to return our calls. We used Unilocal extensively and found that Dr. J had some pretty good reviews so we decided to setup an appt. One good sign was that we needed to wait about 3 weeks to see him for the first consultation because he was so busy. Needless to say he was great! He really seemed to care and he took the time to answer questions and he made my wife feel very comfortable. I can’t say that about my wife’s first doctor, she was kind of rude, pushy and didn’t seem to care about her patient at all.
The surgery went well and on our way home Dr. J followed up with a call to make sure my wife was ok and if she needed anything. That personal touch was awesome, showing us that there are doctors out there that care more about their patients than their pay checks! The subsequent followup visits were great and my wife’s recovery was amazingly quick. As for the results, they came out looking amazing! We are so happy! Dr. J did such a great job I can’t even begin to explain. They look perfect and they feel so nice and natural, we couldn’t be happier!

Dr. J is amazing! I would definitely recommend him to any one. He is so caring and understanding. He was super patient with me in answering all my questions. I didn’t feel rush at all when I first met him for my consultation. I felt very comfortable. He answer all of my husband’s and we shared some laugh. I told him what I wanted and he gave me his recommendations.
I am now 4 weeks post op. He did such an amazing job on my breast augmentation and lift. I’ve had so many compliments from my friends and family. I am so happy with the results. When I came to see Dr. J for my consultation my husband and I were so impressed with him. As soon as we left his office we new he was the plastic surgeon for me. On the day of my surgery I was so nervous. I’ve never had major survey before. I remember Dr. J holding my hands while I was on the table and being put under and out. I’m here to add in another great review like the others! I’m only 3 weeks post op and I’m very very happy with my results so far. I decided to get a bbl, something I’ve been wanting to do for several years, I had other consultations and I was a little overwhelmed not finding the right surgeon until I came across Dr. J on Unilocal and added him on Instagram and saw his wonderful work and I knew then he was the one. Daria the office manger, and Michelle the receptionist/​assistant were and are (since I’m still going in for appointments) very nice and so helpful, when I went in for my consultation Dr. J answered almost all of my questions and concerns before I even asked. He is genuinely so nice, honest and caring and such a great person, after getting my surgery I can say he is an artist! He gave me a very nice natural look in my body, my recovery has been great, even though I’m not 100% healed it definitely doesn’t look like it use to, I have nice curves now and I can’t wait to put on jeans and and go shopping for new clothes! So I found Dr J through one of my friends that had work done. I’ve been to several consultations with other doctors and wasn’t happy. Once I talked with Dr J I instantly felt like I was in good hands. I had my surgery 4 weeks ago getting a Breast Lift and Implants. I am so happy with my results ! I love love love my new breast. After having my son I felt so Insecure with wearing bathing suits and even bras were so uncomfortable. I love all his staff they were so sweet and took care of me. I will always go to Dr J for any future fixes :)

I cannot emphasize this enough — Dr. J is a phenomenal surgeon! I am so thankful to have chosen him to perform my rhinoplasty and chin augmentation. He exudes warmth and kindness, and it is clear that he cares a great deal for his patients. I came to Dr J to get my breasts re done because my old ones that I got done somewhere else were about to hit the 11 year mark and they were never what I wanted in the first place. Dr J immediately knew how to fix my problem and came up with a plan (different type of implants first if all because high profile is not for everyone). His staff and him are so kind and attentive and office is beautiful, quite and PRIVATE! I want to another consultation at dr Hughes and felt like I was at a zoo there so that’s why the privacy was an important factor to me. I am now enjoying my beautiful new boobs that are now fixed and yes the results look just like the website photos. I have a friend who got a Brazilian but lift from Dr J, and her lips done with Juvederm. The results look just like the pictures on the website and very natural ! Dr j gives you realistic expectations about the surgery and is very attentive with his consultations or bedside manner. I have been to many consultations all over la, oc and sb county and none of the Drs have had the knowledge and the kindness that Dr J has. After I have kids and need a tummy tuck I’m coming here! Dr J is by far one of the KINDEST surgeons I have ever met! Through out my whole process, he has made sure that I feel 100% comfortable. From the receptionist, Michelle, to the Consultant Manager, Daria, I have nothing but respect and love for them! They have COMPLETELY changed my whole perception. A rock star surgeon, upon meeting him he has such positive energy, listens to your questions and truly shows compassion. I love him so much I am so happy he performed my first ever big surgery. I was nervous as a 23 year old deciding where to go and who to choose to perform my enhancement, But after about 7 consultations with other doctors I chose Dr. J.
His results are superb and his after care is the best. He called me after my surgery to check up on me then called me 2 days after to ask how I was doing.
