History

Established in 1996.

In 1996, Elsa Nelson, one of the founders of Nelson Shelton & Associates broke away from the large national real estate organization she helped form and decided she was going to assemble the best team of real estate agents she could possibly find. The 100 handpicked associates were, like Elsa, independent and experienced in their field. While most real estate firms spend a lot of time and effort into creating independent offices, Nelson Shelton & Associates found advantages to being all under one roof. Because there is only one office, there is only one standard of unity. Rather than different managers with their own interpretations of how to service customers, there is only one voice speaking for the company. «We don’t want an office at every corner of the city.
